Celebrating our friends' birthday 🥳🎉 and it had also been a while since our last gathering, so Charley Brown was the choice for us. That us a really nice mexican food place 🤩 I really love the hot pan menu and Camarones Al Ajillo 🦐 They are also known for Margarita 😋 The place seems to be crowned all the time. There was no empty seat at all during our visit. Located very close to Terminal 21. They also provide Mexican hat and costume for us to add more fun to the celebration 😂 It was nice ~

I don't want to be harsh on this restaurant as I might frequently pop over to meet up with friends who visit Bangkok. The location is convenient and close to Asok, so it is a good place for a gathering with friends. The staff are attentive and cute. I like Taco 🌮, but I am not impressed by the foods in general as my tongue is picky😅In fact, I visit Charley many times and all were for meeting with the friends. I was recommended by a friend as I love Mexican food a lot and YES! My first visit was perfect. Right in the heart of Asok/Sukhumvit mrt/bts station, just a few minutes a way next to terminal 21. Food was delicious right from the nachos served. Huge selection of cocktails and beverages, they even have rare Mexican tequilas that you will never find in the whole of Thailand. Service was excellent too. And what can I saw, the perfect Mexican music playing in the background. Place is huge, so great with group gatherings and they even have the tradisional Mexican costumes and hats for you to put on. I was there late afternoon for a late lunch, I will definitely be there during dinner times to let things loosen up a bit. A great experienced. Will definitely be another visit anytime I am in town. Happy hour margaritas are only till 6pm so be careful if you base your trip on the reviews for timings. Great food - fajitas are sizzling 😊

Nice place to go have some Mexican dishes that are prepared well with decent portions. Happy hour is a good deal for margaritas.

Nice service and great place to hangout but the taco were extremely dry and we have orders chicken wings and was given all drumsticks and it was so dry

I have been coming to Charley Browns Mexicana for years. Their food is real Mexican food. Not the want to be Mexican food you find at other places. I highly recommend all their food however the Chicken Enchiladas are incredible.

The chips and salsa are amazing. Nice and hot chips and great taste. Food is all really good and the service is also great. Price is high, but expected for what you get here. Vibes are also really nice, but it can get loud with lots of party tables around.

Excellent margaritas and above average nachos. Staff attentive, polite and efficient,. Pricing is acceptable. Recommend this restaurant for a drink or a feed or both.

Was not expecting to find good Mexican food in Bangkok, but this was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Food is super authentic and the frozen margaritas are delightful. Owner Dave is also a super nice guy and gave loads of advice on what to do while in Bangkok. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Been a long time since I visited and very glad I returned. Made the mistake of not booking, but the friendly staff managed to squeeze us onto a table outside. Some interesting choices on the menu. I remember the tacos being great and once again was not disappointed. Will return again much sooner this time.

One of Bangkok's first Mexican restaurants which has been active for almost three decades. Hard to go wrong with this place, easily top 5 Mexican restaurants in Bangkok. Incorporating bright, Mexican-inspired colors, the restaurant is both aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. Tex-Mex favorites like chicken taquitos with guacamole on the side and la Baja are two of the most popular dishes on their menu. The signature burger is also amazing and packed with strong flavors. Some of Bangkok's best margaritas can be found here, and always get the pitcher. Parking is a struggle on the street and walking at night can be a bit dangerous.

Loved it. Great food and great service. Drinks were nice, too. Friends told me this place was good and they were right. I should have come sooner. Prices were quite reasonable especially considering the quality. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. Good place for groups or a date.

I finally found the best Mexican in Bangkok! Its awesome guys! Stopped in for some nachos and sangria to start a Friday night and it was great! I can't wait to come back for a meal!

I remember the Margaritas on soi 11 ten years ago we had some great time I believe Tuesdays were the nights, weekly? The venue has changed only location but not in quality great food and attention from the staff so as the funny conversations with the owner himself who always have a good recommendation about the menu and/or anything else. Glad they survived the challenging Covid times we'll be back again soon! Salute.

UPD The owner is the best one! We’re about to leave the place and he definitely fixed the impression of the night. We’ve got few free margaritas and lots of genuinely apologies. Nice place, good food, but I found a cockroach at my drink. They changed a drink right away, but still impression was a little bit ruined…

Staying at 4 points, if you go out back exit its located on the right. Thought we would try, tacos el pastor were awesome. Everything was fresh and tasted on point. Probably the best mexican food i have ever had. The half price happy hour margaritas were also great!! We will be back!

Have been to a few Mexican restaurants in Bangkok, but this one's definitely my favourite. A bit pricier than other places but the quality of food speaks for itself. Service was quick too. Loved everything we ordered.

I ordered the Chipotle chicken quesadilla. I liked that they cooked it with no oil so it's slightly less unhealthy but I found the chicken and cheese bland. Also the sour cream was flavorless. Service was friendly but I had 2 seperate waiters that kept coming up to me and asking me same questions, taking my order twice, informing me kitchen is closing etc.

After living on street food for a week I decided to enjoy the nice restaurants in around Sukhumvit 19. Charles loved good so I stopped in. So good! I got the tacos al pastor, a home favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! Very nice staff, fun atmosphere. If you like Mexican food, this is the spot. And the chipotle sauce was so good I took extra home!

I had high hopes for this place as several of my friends had said it was a great place to go for Mexican food. I found the food to be average as was the service. It's reasonably nice inside. My margarita was just okay a little too sweet and not much alcohol from my perspective. I went toward the end of their working day they closed the kitchen at 9:30 p.m. and rushed us out of there as quickly as possible. Like I said just okay

It was OK the sauce was interesting but somehow didn’t quite do it for me. Also, I ordered a taco for ฿110 and it didn’t come with rice or beans, or anything just a taco and it kind of bothered me

Authentic Mexican meals in Thailand!!! The chips and salsa was great, as well as tortilla soup but the pork carnitas taco burnt my lips. It was ridiculously spicy and wasn’t even enjoyable. All in all reasonable value.

It was a good food experience but this seems not to be an authentic Mexican food for me. The ceviche was so strange, it tasted like Thai curry somehow. Also the pork was dry and not juicy. A bit of disappointment actually, but good place to hangout still.

An excellent Mexican restaurant. Their chili con queso is arguably the best queso (cheese dip) in Thailand, and comes served in a nice warming dish to keep it hot and melted.

Would give this place 10 stars if possible. The food and margaritas are great (especially during half-off happy hour!), but the best part is the hospitality. The owner does a fantastic job at making you feel welcome and his attitude clearly rubs off on the rest of his staff. Over the years I've been to Charley Browns probably around 10 times and I'll surely be back again!
