Fantastic restaurant, and I am glad we had a chance to go there. At the same time, you probably won't see many locals there. The staff was very helpful and guided us through the menu options. We ended up trying the "pork head cheese" entree, the beef noodles, and their spring rolls salad. All were excellent. What made an additional difference was the owner. He came to have a very pleasant chat and even gave us great suggestions for our following stops in Hoi An, Da Nang, and Ha Noi. We thought about going back before leaving, but did not have a chance. Anyway, we will definitely be back if we go back to Saigon.

Super delicious contemporary dishes from Hue/Central region and cosy ambience! I had the bone marrow beef noodles and still dreaming of the complex and flavourful broth. 😋The sirloin steak used to make the dish was so tender and it was fun scooping the bone marrow too. I went for a laidback evening, and they have a cute terrace that overlooks a bustling part of District 1 which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Thank you to the lovely friendly staff!! I hope to come back and try more dishes☺️

New place I found by accident. Owner speaks English very well. Fresh and modern interior. Dishes are delicious. Highly recommend to give that place a chance.

We loved everything about this place! Their broth is flavorful. I personally liked the Banh Canh better than the bun bo, for the noodle texture. Our favorite thing was the Banh beo. 😍

I've been to tons of Michelin recommended spots in HCM, lots of regular affordable local spots, & everything in between. 1 of my favorite meals in HCM. Grilled beef short ribs, & banh xeo, both excellent. Owner talked to us, super nice guy, Viet from Cali. Atmosphere very nice for the price point (most mains between 100-200k). Highly recommend, will be back. I'm bad at taking pics, portion of ribs much more substantial than my pics look 🙃

I loved Ở Tỉnh House! We came for lunch and Van and his staff was super accommodating. Of course, the most important thing was the food. It came out quickly and it was impressively delicious. We tried a bunch of dishes and our favorite is the King Short Ribs and the Sugar Cane Shrimp. They also have an elevator to go to the restroom. Crazy 😝

Vietnam should be on your bucket list, and this restaurant is a must-visit for exceptional dining. The owner, Van, graciously shared his journey and expertise as a world-renowned chef, explaining the unique aspects of his cuisine. If I'm in Vietnam this November for a wedding, I'll definitely revisit this remarkable restaurant.

Went here for dinner a couple nights ago in Saigon and it was an experience to remember. The service was great, the recommendations were on point and everything we ordered was delicious! My short ribs even had gold leaf on them. We got the chicken wings,/beef short rib and snakehead fish soup and all were incredible! Highly recommend!

My favorite meal in Ho Chi Minh city. An absolute must try! The food was so tasty and well presented, and reasonably priced too. I'm honestly surprised it's not on the Michelin list (and I've tried a couple of these). The staff and owner were so friendly and gave me recommendations of places to go in HCMC, and there's a lovely story behind how this restaurant came about too.

This place is fire! way worth checking out! Hue style Vietnamese food in the middle of Saigon. The building itself has a bar and a tattoo studio. Way cool! Go eat and chat or just check it out. Way worth it!

Went there one week after opening. The interior looks beautiful, location is great, it's right in the center of HCM city. Food is tasty, my personal favorite is all the dishes with Hến. Oh, and bánh bèo is definitely a good choice. Will come back.

Wonderful place to stay! Nearby “backpacking” area for night activities and street food. What’s even better is the restaurant and bar itself on the 1st floor! Owner of the homestay is also a chef! My wife and I ate here for lunch. Well prepared and tasteful Vietnamese dishes so we ended up eating again for dinner. And again for lunch! We wanted to try every dish and was blown away! Definitely a must try! Oh, be sure to try their refreshing craft beer to start your day!

Very good, comforting food. The lemongrass gravy in the loco(lomo?) dish was to die for. The meat, egg,pickled cabbage, and rice all fits together quite nicely. I wish I was eating more is it now. The owner is also pretty nice. I look forward to visiting again and trying more dishes!

Saw this post for loco moco for a while now. Finally made it out there. Reading the description I was a little skeptical (there were a few things not traditional about it). Us locals take our Hawaiian food seriously haha However, after eating it those ingredients I thought might take away from my childhood comfort dish were very subtle and kinda enhanced the meal. Met the owner and he was super cool, and knowledgeable about a wide range of cuisines having lived in the states for a while. And while I wouldn't call it fusion food (cuz I really dislike that term) you can see influences of different cultures on the menu. Excited to try the other things on the menu such as the kalbi and bone marrow beef soup. Prices are very reasonable given the location and the quality of the food.

We discovered this gem on our first night in the city and it turned out to be one of our favorite spots! Amazing food! The chef is very creative and his vision is a great example of Vietnamese fusion with a modern twist. We will be coming back to try everything! ❤️

We absolutely loved the food here. The beef noodle soup with bone marrow is outstanding, a must try. Also recommend the rice cakes with shrimp. Do ask for the chilies and lemon on the side if you want more flavour. My partner had the grilled pork and noodle, which was tasty, but would be better with a broth/ sauce so that it’s a little less dry. The service was really friendly and hospitable, and the view from the balcony is lovely! Do try the love potion mocktail as well, it was delicious.

Food is delicious, menu is innovative and unique, and waitresses are friendly. Most of all, the owner is very kind and down to earth. He has a very inspiring story of how hard he worked to get his restaurant running and it is clear how passionate he is about cooking great food and making impressionable experiences. Chill place with a vintage saigon ambience. The owner is friendly and accommodates me even if I arrived before their opening time. :) Grilled pork is delicious. Salt coffee can add more espresso shot but still good to try. Maybe just a personal preference.

Fantastic experience! The food was fantastic, all very fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Van the owner was awesome, not only did he create some great dishes but he gave us some good recommendations for places to visit around the city. He also had craft beer I haven’t seen anywhere else before! Highly recommend for Vietnamese food in HCMC!

I would highly recommend O Tình House to anyone looking for a great Huế cuisine in Sài Gòn. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

One of the absolute best underrated and overlooked gems of Saigon. The food here is so damn flavorful and every dish looks mouth-watering. We ordered Chạo Tôm (which was deep-fried instead of grilled as tradition), oxtail with Cajun seasoning, bánh bèo made with butterfly peas and broken rice with Korean BBQ. Make sure to order the salted lemon beer. One minus is the staff is not well-trained on the food/drinks. Every time we ask questions about the food, they had no idea and had to check. Even when they were able to answer, they answered hesitantly and showed no confidence.

The best Vietnamese food in Ho Chi Minh! Extremely delicious beef noodles and steak, grilled chicken wings... The staff and managers are very friendly and will politely ask about the dining experience. The location is very convenient!
