Great bar in district 1 of HCMC, staff is professional and very friendly, you can ask them for a suggestion about cocktails. The place is nice but not easy to find, it's on the first floor of a building, from the street is not easy to see, there is only a sign on the wall. A great choice for after dinner.

I came on a busy Sunday night and i was impressed that they actually have a happy hour menu on Sunday. I tried 4 different cocktails and 2 out of 4 were actually quite remarkable. The other 2 was just mediocre and forgettable. Bar food was nice and well-seasoned. I do have to minus 2 stars due to the noise and the seating arrangement. It was a bit too noisy, which i totally understand, due to it was a Sunday night. However, the bartenders kept loudly bang their shakers on the counter surely didn't help. The seating arrangement is also a bit uncomfortable. Tables are too small and are too closely put so i can pretty much heard others' conversations. Chairs are also not comfortable to sit for a long time.

Decent food and good drinks. Cocktails offerings is large. Prices are also good. The only complaint is probably the seating, come during peak hours and good luck! But the lack of seating and the not so personal service is forgiven because of the great ambience and good music. Come with a group of friends, get a nice table and I’m sure you’ll have a good evening. Overall a good place, worth a visit. Cheers and enjoy!

Expensive (for Vietnam) but absolutely worth it. Small menu but fantastic quality food. We had the meat platter, the cheese platter & the loaded fries. The happy hour cocktails (D99,000) were the best cocktails I've had in SE Asia!

I just left this bar. The waiters are the worst. I received the worst service here out of all the bars in Saigon. Never coming back. Update 2022-06-06 Management contacted me the next day to inquire about my experience. Jay extended an invitation to come back and noted that they would be bringing up this feedback at their staff meeting. Based on the responsiveness of management, I have updated the review.

This bar is awesome. I know people usually come for its drinks, but once you order their food, it's like out of this world! Super duper Yum. I'm most impressed with the loaded fries (they use tater tots to substitute regular fries) and the flavor is just bomb! Mac and cheese is creamy and delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced during Happy Hour which I love :) Will definitely visit again!

Discovered this restobar from the discovery list of Asia's best and it did not disappoint! We were able to walk in during Christmas day and ordered calamari and chicken wings. For drinks, we got the Lady Jane (gin-based, fruity and floral), an Old Fashioned, and this raspberry drank that we saw on one of their Instagram posts. Do yourself a favor and ask for the latter!!! A unique drink that I'll only ever find here 😭❤️

Feel sad leaving a bad review for this bar because it has so much potential - the drinks, music and general vibe were so good. But people should know that the customer service is terrible and be prepared to take that risk. We completely accidentally broke two glasses and had to pay 320k for them, even though our initial cocktails only amounted to 180k. Essentially the cost of the glasses was double the cost of the cocktail. Then we were told to leave when we finished those cocktails to free up space. Then when we paid, I asked to pay by card and they almost charged me a 25% fee without saying. At a nice bar, I would have expected a better experience. I hope their management improves.

I always visit here when I am in Vietnam. Nice chilled bar with lots of seating areas, pool table, modern English music. Extensive drinks menu. Highly recommended. Great for small or big groups.

Fancy bar with affordable prices during happy hour (1 for 1). We heard that getting a table here without reservation can be tough during the usual evening peak hours but we got lucky and only waited 5 mins or less. It got pretty rowdy quickly and chatting can prove to be a little challenging. Overall good stop for quality drinks at decent prices with decent ambience.

Every single type of drink tastes great!! The vibe is punky. There is a billboard in side for group of friends trying something new :)

I was really looking forward to trying this bar as I'm a huge fan of their other bar Summer Experiment. Unfortunately the experience wasn't great. The bartender preparing our drinks was sick, blowing their nose and then continuing to make drinks without washing their hands. Definitely a huge red flag especially in these post pandemic times. I had to send one drink back because I wasn't comfortable drinking from the same glass he was touching. Usually I sit at the bar just to get a bit more guidance from the bartenders on cocktail recommendations and finding what maps best to my preferences. However, this was the first bar in a long time where there was 0 interactions with the bar tenders, not even a quick how does it taste. It was also difficult to get service as I'd need to flag down staff working the tables to order. Cocktails and food were good, but overall service experience means I can't really recommend it. Definitely recommend summer experiment instead if looking for more of a proper cocktail bar expensive.

A fantastic find during my holiday in Ho Chi Minh, it’s a hidden bar at the upper level, just opposite Sheraton Hotel. This place is suitable for friends gathering and dates for couples. Their cocktails were just amazing and tasty, reasonably priced and with a very nice ambiance. Do try they bar food too! Very good and tasty fried, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Will definitely be back again on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh.

The food was great, drinks had a good happy hour deal before 8pm and the ambience takes the crown. Definitely a place to visit after work, or when visiting Saigon.

Little bit hard to find but well worth it. Great service and staff. Happy hour is 5.00-8.00 and it is great value. The cocktails are to die for, especially if you fall down the stairs on the way out 😁 just kidding they are seriously good. Highly recommended!

I loved this cocktail bar - make sure you go for happy hour (5-9pm, approx $6AUD, 99,000dong). A large modern and moody haunt up a dingy staircase which was a little hard to find. A lot of seating options from high tables, to bar seating and then another room full of couches. Their cocktails were incredible - very creative and the ‘mixologists’ took a lot of care in serving with extra pizazz. Also a decent menu for snacks and meals, although I didn’t eat here. A very cool, and relaxing vibe. Music just background noise and not too overwhelming in the afternoon. A popular spot for local business people - you might want to change out of your singlet and thongs

This is my No1 place in Ho Chi Minh, amazing cocktails and 5-8pm happy hour. Mac n cheese is sensational, as are the oysters. Love the atmosphere too…

Typical Saigon nightlife place. Quite loud to chat with friends but environment is very welcoming. In addition, it has a pool table. I assume it's extremely popular among Saigon business class people. Age range around 25-40. Cocktails were great! Price is okay.

Wow, how is this place not on 50 Best Bars Asia yet? Every cocktail we ordered was balanced and thoughtfully created. The food, dare I say it, even better than the likes of Manhattan Bar’s Sunday brunch in Singapore? But best of all, the staff were so attentive, polite and even guided us over the phone to find the elusive entrance. Pro-tip: best place to find Layla is by walking over to the Sheraton and then looking across the street. Not going to give the exact steps but hey, part of the adventure is looking for the entrance. Fancy bar but its packed. Here they have a pool table as well. Its a bit noisy but still able to talk by leaning into each other so guys this is a great place 😏. All drinks are professionally shaken or stirred and served. Had to wait a while since they are making drinks like one shot make a lot. Although some drinks might not be equal but overall its alright for that price its great. Firstly, they make an AMAZING whiskey sour. The staff are absolutely fantastic (especially Kimchi!). I haven't tried the food yet, but if you're looking for excellent cocktails at great prices, get yourself to Layla's!

Awesome decoration and great almost secret location to hang out at. Lots of options of drinks but service is lacking. It took 20 minutes to get two drinks while six bartenders played around with each other taking selfies. I had to ask the manager and staff three times about our drinks. Never once while sitting at the bar was I asked by a bartender if I even wanted a drink. The bar has a great atmosphere and could probably really do well if the staff worked on being attentive to customers.

Great cocktail bar with a wide variety of styles and spirits! Strawberry margherita was 10/10. we also had quesadillas with chicken and dip and they are pretty crispy with sour cream, but a bit spicy imo.

The menu selection of this place is diverse. The food and drink here are fantastic and the price range is reasonable. However, the service here is quite unprofessional, as the waiters are not so friendly and helpful towards customers. I was also dissastified about the fact that they did not record my reservation properly, therefore I did not have a table in advance when I arrive; thankfully they solve this quickly. This place is always packed and noisy, therefore suitable for dynamic occasions rather than private events or date.

Hidden bar with really high quality service. We took the loaded potatoes and definitely recommend it even if you’re not hungry ! Cocktails are originals and really worth the price (99k during happy hour).
