Had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely delightful, we shared three main dishes with the three of us. I like it spicy but might be on the spicy side for most, although they can put the spicy parts on the side. Staff was super friendly, talked a bit about the food and their culture. Very affordable prices and definitely a recommended visit!

A newly opened Ethiopian restaurant in my neighborhood and I love it. As a foodie I really like to try new dishes and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything is fresh and the “injera” bread is delicious. The owner is really helpful at explaining everything and the service is great. After the diner they serve traditional Ethiopian coffee and it tastes great. There are also options for vegetarians. I recommend this place if you want to try something different and want to broaden your taste buds👅

very kind staff! delicious dish and we are super satisfied. it was a nice leap into a cuisine that I didn't know about but loved. the staff are polite and attentive. he also offered us their signature honey wine which we loved. if we go back to The Hague we will definitely be back! good luck from Italy!

Super chill place, with very nice people. We got to try a wine which was sweet and fruity. The samosas and the meats were delicious. Ethiopian food was worth a try and I definitely recommend it.

First time trying out Ethiopian cuisine. Very generous portions. Service was very friendly. The ambience was mellow and chill. Beef was cooked well. Chicken was a little hard, but the spices more than made up for it.

Today I had a spiritual experience from a plate of food. The prices are extremely fair here and the portions are incredibly generous. Our server was so friendly and was eager to share with us about the food from his home. He listened to the flavors we enjoyed and made a selection based on that. We got a huge platter of food and not a single thing on that plate left me feeling “… it’s okay…”. This was my first time experiencing Ethiopian food, but once was enough to say that the meal I had at Awash Valley was the most amazing food I have ever ate. DO NOT HESITATE to stop in if you’re even slightly considering it. I had to literally call home in the middle of my meal to tell my husband how incredible the food was. I will be back!

The food was varied and delicious, with an excellent mix of flavours. Fantastic vegetarian food! The staff were enthusiastic about the food and happy to advise. They also have some home-roasted Ethiopian coffee that they have great knowledge about, but when we got it home it was a bit stale.

Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The authentic food and the chat with the staff really created a full Immersion in the Ethiopian culture. We shared in two the Awash special, a traditional dish that allows you to try a lot of different flavours. The quality of the food and the good prices will bring me there again for sure!
