Huge park where you can spend your entire day. At some points it gets quite confusing in regards to directions, but wherever you go, you'll be surrounded by beautiful nature. The reason I visited this place was the Japanese garden, but it seems like that certain area is only a small piece of what the entire park has to offer. Lots of ducks, geese, dogs... It is very spacious and has a lot to offer, definitely worth a weekend trip. The water surface areas are also stunning, and probably one of the most beautiful sections...

Clingendael park is wonderful place during the spring season - there are many flowers, azalea, rhododendron everywhere. There are also swans and different birds with their babies, children farm, Japanese garden. Clingendael park is the best park in The Hague.

A big forest and garden with a nice old building in the middle of it. Not so much to do just sit back and enjoy the serenity. Good for jog, but very difficult to find public facililities like toilets or kiosks for drinks.

This is one the best parks in the Hague. When visiting the Hague, make sure to take a couple of hours and stroll through this, for Dutch standards, huge park. There's a nice Japanese section here, make sure to check the date for open hours, you can feed the swans and geese, BYO and get a refresher in the old little Dutch house. Great ace to spend an afternoon with kids and still just 15 minutes from the city center on your bike.

The best Park in Den Haag, its a Japanese theme park. Not so big but you will enjoy visiting this park. Just 2.3 km from Den Haag central, this park only open twice annually for 6 weeks. One of great moment for me to be there.

Long walking trails, mature trees and plenty of water bodies to observe local birds.

A historic garden in Denhaag, it is often open to visitors during specific periods of the year. It was originally a manor house owned by various noble families before being acquired by the Van Brienen family in the early 19th century. During WWII, this place was occupied by German military and later was restored and open to the public.

Well maintained, safe place, quite big in the center of the city, old trees and birds, grasslands with farm animals, a lot of flowers and colors. A lot to say and never boring even after a thousand visits.

I was extremely disappointed as I walked here from Peace Palace and found Japanese Garden closed on April 20th, 2023. I spent one day in The Hague and it was definitely a mistake to come here.

Nice park, early example of landscaping architecture, ‘run down’ in a nice way. Some romantic corners. Great place for a marriage shoot, family picknick (better clean up afterwards or otherwise stay away!) Plan your visit wisely, can be busy

Absolutely gorgeous! Trees so old, so majestic, my mum and I used to walk there 6o and more years ago and I tried to envisage the trees so much younger. Alas, the tearoom was closed but the Hoytemaplein with all its pretty and delicious shops is closeby and the tea was good there too.

Plenty of space for a nice walk. Your choice to just sit in the garden, or go off into the woods.

Calm, Beautiful and adventurous at the same time. Good place to do yoga and workout sessions apart from walking and playing with your dog.

A must visit park. It's so beautiful and peaceful around here. I'm really glad we visited. The Japanese Garden was not open (opens 30th April) but that didn't matter as the rest of the park is beautiful. I imagine in the summer it is even better. The only watch out is that the public toilets are not open all the time and the cafe was closed (it was a Tuesday afternoon).

Clingendael is a very nice open well maintained park to stroll through, you can have a picnic by the ponds, there is a play park for the kids, you can have coffee, tea and icecream. In addition a local bee keeper sells his honey you can see the bee hives and the children can see a variety of animals and birds, a nice place to relax. Great day out!

Happy stones by Kei Tof are the most beautiful ones I’ve seen. Most of the spring season’s lush, vibrant and colourful flowers are over their peak now (sunday, June 13th 2021), but you can find some real gems still. Like the yellow iris at the water side. So simple, yet so elegant. Come here very early in the morning (like ultimately at 7:00am) to really hear the forest sounds reverberate, birds singing, without all the distractions from the busy city life. No people, no cars, planes, just nature. I spent half an hour just listing to the sounds and watching a pair of swans do their morning grooming routine.
