it’s a pretty beach restaurant and the food was alright. we had to wait for awhile though before the waitress noticed us and we could order. first we wanted to order a fried platter but she recommended us to take something else. according to her it would be a bad idea so we went with the nachos. the little bread in the back and the nachos were nice but the fish was very disappointing. the fish had a very thick layer of batter which was full with oil. if you’re just looking for a beach restaurant at schevening you could come here but there are many more options which are better than this one. ps. the waitress was indirectly forcefully asking for a tip

It was a delightful breakfast experience. We tried American breakfast and Luxe breakfast and we enjoyed both. Once we arrived I asked a waiter to serve us as fast as it was possible as we have a reservation at the Sea Life and we've made it just in time. We are very grateful for delicious breakfast and prompt service. And the place has an amazing sea atmosphere and various comfortable seat areas.

Service was a bit slow, I think one of the waitresses had a bad day. I had a reservation for a large group, but they were not aware of it nor prepared for it. Eventually, it was ok because it wasn't that busy. The food was good, especially the sweet potato fries.

MOULD ON FOOD. We discovered mould on food that we had consumed already. When we alerted staff, we were only offered a coffee rather than a refund. In the end, we only received a partial refund for our meal rather than a full refund for our food. The only positive was that the waiting staff were friendly about the situation. Very disappointed at how the manager and owner handled a situation that is potentially unsafe. Would never eat here again.

Mediocre experience at best. Beautiful view if you're facing the ocean (I was not) and the food was just okay but expensive. I ate the fish of the day but also tried my girlfriends mussels and friends prosciutto pizza, it was also, just okay. I had ordered the fish of the day, which came with a sad helping of vegetables. This arrived 20 minutes after the three other individuals at my table were served (this might be an understatement). Legitimately everyone had been able to finish eating while I waited. No compensation, just an apology. My suggestion to any traveler is to skip this location.

Fat oysters & crispy sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise at Sunset. Sangria, mojhitos, a fire and a comfy sofa. What's not to like?

Cool place , food and drinks , nice spot for resting after walking on the beach.

Though I came in at the end when the kitchen seemed to be closing down, couldn’t be more annoyed that the waiter didn’t even try fix the blender that he didn’t hear my order, just smiled and went on with his duties. Was so looking forward to that lobster and a fish platter. Wasn’t even asked if I wanted a side with the dish 😔.

Warm welcoming foyer area completely undermined by rude and unwelcoming staff. Eventually after a 20 minute wait attended by a rude and complacent staff who then forgot to actually place our order. Several other groups had walked out by then bored with waiting to get served. The oversized sculpture outside on the promenade , of a man with his head on his hands, is telling you something...give it a miss . There are nicer places very nearby.

Legendary venue, you have to visit the Blue Lagoon at least once in your lifetime! Great food, great atmosphere, awesome music.

Nachos all broken in small pieces. Impossible to eat. We have said to the waitress but we got only a little little 'sorry'. 8 euros for this is really unacceptable. We are lucky not to have ordered other things. Don't come!

Probably a bit early in the year. Beach restaurants still under construction, outside temperature below 5 degrees. Still would have expected a dinner to be more than meat and some buns.

Super nice place to relax, freinedly staffs , foods is good and I love the blue lagoon colour is my favourite. I love break fast on the beach ( ontbijt aan zee).

Nice place with a lot of seating options: at the beach, near the glass walls with beautiful view, inside, from the side with cozy sofas... Online ordering is a disaster, our table didn't have the nametag, QR code printed on a wooden tag outside at the beach is the dumbest idea ever (I tried 3 tables, nothing worked), the website does not allow to click back, there aren't more info about the products. We ordered board with different hapjes (snacks), for two persons it was enormous! And very tasty (4 types of cheese, 4 types of ham, etc), but the waiters were rude to us and for this board (without any warm snack) we waited more than 30 min, oh and also we ordered curly fries, which looked lovely but when they brought it, it was already cold...

I really don't recommend it, and avoid it if you don't want to spoil your evening. Nobody takes care of you. Small quantities for exorbitant prices. The same goes for cocktails and drinks! No taste at all. Customers are not kings but annoyed in this place

Nice place, delicious food, attentive staff

Great location. Food was expensive but some dishes could be better. We had the meat combo, the rib finger was delicious, but the lamb and steak were mediocre, rare to medium rare, but was really not impressive. Catch of the day was very good, the grilled fish was delicious, crunchy skin and rich. The lobster was a bit poor. Kid menu, fries and chicken nuggets were decent but pricey. The main waitress was attentive, fast but not very friendly. The others were super helpful and friendly though. The waiting time was short, even though it was quite crowded 👌👌. There is a small playground for kids so that's a plus

We had a beautiful and sunny afternoon at the Blue Lagoon. Very friendly people, cool drinks and great foot, freshly prepared on the bbq next to our table. A great experience that I would really recommend!

I had the worst pizza here. The service was all good and food came so fast and after tasting it I knew why it came so fast. The pizza was tasteless, everything was like thrown in there without order. And the cocktail was just watery okay..

Delicious food but slow service.

Food is ok but service leaves much to be desired. For 4 hours, the waiters came up no more than 3 times, after that I had to approach them myself. If you ask something not to put in the dish, your wishes will not be taken into account, but will be done as they see fit. BUT this is not the most important thing. The prices on the menu are different and do not correspond to the amount to be paid, that is, if you want to eat for 50-100 euros, get ready to pay 100-150 euros. For example, according to the prices on the menu, we had to pay 80 euros, but in the end the price on the check was 110 euros! 30 euro difference, we tried to find out something from the waiters but they only said what is the menu. They justify it by saying they have an old menu but that doesn't sound very convincing. In general, the food is not bad, but the whole mood was killed by the service and the amount in the check that does not correspond to the prices on the menu. In general, I do not recommend it!

Good place along the beach of The Haag for food and drinks. Good selection, including pizza, which is ok, while not good (Italian speaking) but too high price. Some mains are not served with included vegetables and fries, which is standard in other places. Suggested, but there are better options.

The angus burger and sweet fries are really delicious. One missing star as the service was super slow

During my visit over the weekend, as crowded as a space can be, I don't think it's acceptable for a restaurant/bar with such quality to have so many tables left unclaimed and such a poor service, although the staff is really nice when serving you. Furthermore, while I was waiting for them to clean my table and serve me, 3 employees tripped over a loose board on the floor, because none of them knew how to solve or identify the problem so that future accidents could be avoided, both with colleagues and customers. Other than that, the space has a very nice decoration and you can access part of the menu online.

The place is nice. It has a nice view to the beach and is really close to the Scheveningen pier. We had dinner outside and ended up smelling like coal, because of the heating method they use. Nice to have a few drinks, but not really recommend for dinner.

Good place to enjoy Holland sea foods such as mussels and fresh Oysters with great soybean source. Definitely recommend for fresh dinner at Scheveningen

Below average.. The food comes a bit cold and tastes OK at best. You have to explicitly ask and then wait for small plates to use when eating. Overall, not worth the price.

Perfect service, very cozy lounge furniture. Good food. Sure a little pricy but not more than the other Beach Cafes. We spent a whole afternoon just sitting there and enjoying ourselves. Very relaxing House Music in the Style of Cafe Del Mar. Loved this place!

Good beach club, nice atmosphere but the one guy who take order, he was really gave us a bed service! We were asking about the table number and it took so long for him to get back to us we have to ask another waiter to get his attention. Unimpressed But everyone was amazing expect this guy!

The location is beautiful but the service was slow. We asked for the drink card but then the waiter disappeared. When he finally came he said that the beers and wines we wanted were not on stock. Then we picked something else. When we wanted to have a second round we finally could have eye contact again. The guy nodded that he would come but instead he took 2 empty glasses from other tables and never came...After long waiting, we decided to leave and we went in to pay.

Great but expensive food. Fantastic location and infrastructure for children ‐ playground which your kids will love. Paprika tomato soup super 😋
