Good italian food in Denhaag. The pasta is authentic and nice. Pizza also big and good enough. The place is full during dinner time so try to make a reservation to make sure you get seats.

The pizza met my expectations and i was really satisfied. I want to say a special thanks to the friendly and professional service ❤️ i highly recommend it. I went in the evening and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere.

Stopped by during a day trip from Rotterdam. We shared a Margherita pizza and a bottle of red wine. We had a lovely experience and chat with our server, and will be back next time we’re in town!

A pleasant and friendly place. The pizza is very good and (hint!) the calzone is excellent. Nice wine list too. Another hint, make a reservation, we went for dinner on a random Tuesday and it was full. EDIT: Thanks for the owner response. Yes, we will definitely be back :)

Gluten free - almost anything on the menu. Costs +2€ for some reason though. Service quite nice, a bit shy though. Have to keep looking for them. Food was quite great 👍. Prices are expensive, which is okay, but everything could have been a bit more for the money. Was just enough, quantitatively speaking. There was lots of seafood on the seafood pizza, however 👍 They semi-forgot our reservation from some weeks ago, but made room for us in the end. Not suitable for celiac, but very nice place for gluten intolerant and everyone else with a little bit more budget.👍

It’s really challenging to get gluten free pizza in restaurants in the Netherlands at the moment so I was really pleased to stumble on this place online. Dropped by with a colleague on Sunday afternoon and it was closed for a private party but when I said about my gluten intolerance, we were whisked to a table at the back of the venue and very happily looked after. Suffice to say the pizza was amazing (my first proper pizza in three months!) and fabulous wine. Thanks guys, you really made my day by being so accommodating

One of the best Italian places I've been to in The Netherlands. I had the steak and my friend the swordfish pasta, both daily specials. Both were impeccably prepared and beautifully presented. We also had dessert, the tiramisu and chocolate mousse which were divine. I will be definitely coming back to try more of the menu. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and the staff were attentive and friendly. I'm always happy to find an Italian restaurant that can showcase the wide range of Italian cuisine, and this is definitely one.

Generous starter, bruschetta was loaded with fresh tomatoes and basil. Good pizza and free limoncello shot to end the night.

A really great Italian resturant with excellent food choices for vegetarians/vegans. Pizzas are thin crust!!! Dessert choices are mind boggling. We had the chocolate mousse which was fantastic! Second-time earlier today to celebrate a friends birthday. Rahul set us up with a really nice table. The serving team made us feel right at home. We ordered a bunch of dishes to be shared and it turned out to be an excellent experience. Started with bruschetta with the right amount of flavoring including fresh garlic, side dishes of salad, grilled veggies and potatoes - very fresh and flavorful. The veggie pizza and the pasta were the second round - perfectly cooked. And as last visit the desserts were decadent - we shared a tartufu and chocolate mouse👍👍👍👍 Minor hiccup - the coffee served was Luke warm when I requested hot cappuccino. It was promptly replaced with a fresh one! Thank you.

Such tasty pizza and top notch wine. I ordered a gluten free pizza. They label everything on their menu with what is gluten free and vegan. They had many options. Stick to the pasta if you have a severe allergy because the pizza is cooked in the same oven as regular crusts. The service was excellent. I believe it is a family business, because they genuinely care about their food and customers experiences.

We had our early dinner with their delicious pizzas. Ale and margarita was really tasty. The staff is very lovely and helpful. Fully recommended if you pass by!

Best Italian restaurant that I've been to in the Netherlands. The food amazing and offer gluten free and vegan options which is ideal since my wife is intolerant. The service is warm, welcoming and on point every time we've been there. Definitely a great recommendation.

I’m pretty sure this is the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had. I could write poetry about the perfect texture of the dough - just the right amount of flavor and chew, as well as the tomato sauce - just the right amount of robust acidity and tang… I guess you’ll just have to see for yourself. Prices also incredibly reasonable for both the quantity, quality, and the area. If you ask me, you can’t go wrong here.

Restaurant is good and food was tasty. However, portions were in my opinion small (lasagna was okay but raviolis were not). Anyway, it was not my first time here. They serve on a professional way, but last time food took a while to be served, anyway within acceptable time. Desserts are tasty but maybe not worth the price. I would give it a try again and go back for the pizzas!

Wow. It's been a longtime since we had a pizza that was THAT good. There are thousands of pizzerias and most of them do a good pizza, so what can you do to stand out from the crowd? Add a fancy interior? Have Italian speaking staff? Play around with the prices? Well how about trying to make your mark with excellent food? It's the toughest challenge in the business when it comes the pizzerias but Mammamia's nailed it! (PS you álso get a fancy interior, great Italian speaking staff and value for money ☺️)

Well... The restaurant is not bad and in good location actually. Futhermore I read reviews and kindly amazed so I wanted to go there and try pizza or other Italian food. I was one person and staff immediately asked me Am I reservated a table, by the way it was Wednesday evening and there were free seats for one person. Well no, I did not reserve table, so I stand there and waited for a table. I was seated near wc and in a front of bar. After that I waited for a waitress for 15 min to make an order and after 20min brought me pizza. Pizza was ok a little bit salty. So it is unlikely that I will return here again.

Awesome place. Get red wine and drink from the tallest stemmed wine glasses, so elegant! Food was great and the atmosphere very cozy. They can manage couples and families well. We had pizza, so many options, plus gluten free!

The best Italian food outside Italy that I have ever had! Staff are great too. Prices are reasonable especially considering the quality and the deliciousness of the food.

We ordered pizza from the place. Was always very nice. There are various options, if you have intolerance to some products. At place the service is good. Food is tasty. Service quick, friendly and very very pleasant.

This restaurant is located in a very charming street of The Hague called Denneweg. We went here for lunch and were very pleased with the menu. Everything from appetiser to main course was delicious. Good portion sizes and authentic flavours. The place also is well-decorated. The only issue is that the music was not fitting at all. For such a nice ambience, it's a shame that they were playing random pop song covers. It would have been better to go for a light jazz or even instrumental Italian music. When we asked to split the bill, the hostess/waitress also did not seem pleased. It was very odd so I also wanted to make this remark for feedback in terms of service.

Horrible experiences. The waiters lack human empathy, kindness and politeness. We booked a table for 8pm, it’s 8:15 and nobody came to check on us while we were waiting at the door. 8:20 I ask one of them and says “yeah I know they are prepping tables”. 5 min later still no news, we ask another waiter who was extremely rude. He told us “yes you have a reservation but everyone had an 8pm reservation. It’s Saturday in The Hague so of course it is busy!!! We can’t kick people out but YOU are welcome to kick people out if you want, but we can’t.” That’s one I told him he was impolite and he replied “we are busy so if you want to wait we can offer Prosecco. But I don’t have the time to argue I have clients waiting”. So our time of 30 minutes is not valuable for you? You should not work directly with people when you lack training and people management skills. The previous time we went the same happened, no table for us despite a reservation. But it freed 10 min later, which is acceptable. But today’s behavior is clearly uncalled for. It is very sad since the food is very good. You are far better ordering online and eating home than actually eating there and having a bad moment. If you read other bad reviews they always say “fake review”, meaning they never want to recognize their wrong.

The place is amazing and the food is excellent! Every time I order, I travel back to Italy, fresh ingredients and quite fair price. I'm a vegetarian and there are so many options, also for gluten free dough and vegan pizzas. The only problem is that ordering from Thuisbezorgd no longer seems possible. For the rest, this is the place for actual Italian food

We went to this restaurant for lunch on the last weekend. We ordered a pizza and seafood pasta and both of them were very delicious. The pizza had a nice topping and the dough was good and the pasta was very tasty and it had a good amount and choice of seafood. The waiter was also super nice with us and gave us some suggestions on what to eat. They also have a good selection of Italian beers and wines so you might want to check them out. The prices are a bit more expensive than other Italian restaurants in Den Haag, but overall they are OK. I would definitely go there again

Good Italian restaurant near The Hague city centre with great ambience - Just don't take the "veal" steak. I had the Taglionoli al Tartufo and Tiramisu - both very tasty. The tahlionoli was incredibly rich and creamy and not too salty - just good. It was garnished with thin slices of truffle and fried spring onion. The spring onion was an odd addition tbh, but I'm not an expert in Italian food. The tiramisu was also delicious and I have nothing to add, except for the fact that it was garnished with coconut strips - another odd choice for garnish?? My friends ordered their "classic breaded veal steak", but when cut open it looked like chicken (inside was white like chicken) and they told me it tasted like chicken as well. So that was thoroughly disappointing to them and unacceptable for the restaurant to serve chicken as "veal". Price wise: a main course, drink, and dessert came to a total of around 30€/pp, so pretty decent as well.
