We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is not in the heart of the city but pretty close to the center by the boat or car. We chose this hotel purposely for its location because we flew 16 hours from Europe so we wanted some rest after long flight. Welcome to the hotel was pretty nice the room was nice and good size ( we had junior suite) but we were disappointed when we went out on the balcony. There was ongoing construction right in front of the balcony and the view was awful. We could not take a rest after flight because there was also a big noise from the outside. So we called reception and ask to change the room. They said that our room can be changed but we had to wait for it another 5 hours. The other room was the same inside but had much better view and it was quite so we were satisfied for the second try with the room:) But the hotel should notice guests about construction before they arrive and also reduce price for this rooms. There was one paper on the desk in the room where hotel informed about this construction going on. Its too late and its not fair to guests. The best thing at this hotel was staff - everybody was nice and helpful. Also food was good quality and tasty.

Anantara is another riverside 5 stars hotel in the city. It is peaceful hotel where is the most beautiful in this area. Also, a big shopping mall where is serviced food, cafe and other shops. Good ambience and good manner of staffs.

Love being in this hotel and appreciate their boat shuttle service! Staffs were super nice. Hotel rooms are a bit old given its history but it’s all good. You could go to Avani+ next door if you want new/modern constructions.

Absolutely faultless service. Great location. Lovely pool and outdoor areas. Top notch food. I only dropped a star because I think the rooms have just got to the point where they're due for a spruce up. In that regard they're good, not great. The rest of the experience was perfect and worth returning for.

Had a very enjoyable two week stay. Chose the Deluxe River Front Room and was glad I did. Balcony had some views over the river. Beds and pillows were really comfortable which is so important when staying for a long period. Room was spacious with sofa, table, good lighting, awesome bed and good bathroom with rain shower and bath tub. Would stay again.

The hotel and grounds are really pretty. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection with things for everyone. The food was very good, both at the buffet and the riverside restaurant we tried. Staff was friendly. Everyone we passed greeted us. Staff was very accommodating and helpful to call cabs, arrange rides, etc when needed. Beds were comfy. Shuttle boat made it easy to get to and from BTS station. Would stay here again!

We had an excellent and very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were simply incredible. Always ready to help. Always a smile of their face. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the buffet style dinner. The choice was very extensive, every taste catered for and the quality was 10/10 gold star! The same can be said for breakfast. The views over the river were a big plus! The hotel also has a free ferry shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from Sathorn Pier The hotel staff made our stay an incredibly memorable one.

This is my personal favourite hotel in Bangkok. It is away from the busy centre but has boats that will take you there if you require. This hotel has the nicest kindest and most accomodating people on the planet. One of the most beautiful gardens and pool areas. Rooms are very good size with extra large beds. Variety of food and different restaurants to choose. I will always stay here when visiting Bangkok. ❤️❤️❤️

Good for families, not for couple seeking quiet romantic place. Rooms are extremely small but clean and noisy if at river side. Large choice of food and beverage as many restaurants and bars are available in the hotel. Check-in is fast, welcome is warm. Service is great. It's my first and last time in this Anantara.

A little confusing at the beginning but once checked in and time to explore, Anantara is a stunning place. Shuttle Boat is really good and even if you have no plans to do anything once you get off just turn around and come back all included in with your room. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Very nice but not my favorite. Overall very friendly reception employees but the pool bar is very very very slow with only one handful of guests and 5 pool bar employees. It is very pretty and in the theme of elephants but a bit far away from the city center. Don’t miss the too rooftop bar behind the hotel, the best river view bar in BKK. Drinks and food is very expensive though!

It is an amazing place to stay. Very near to a mall for all your needs and not too far from main city, although not too close. The resort is very well maintained and has a lot of space as well as other unique things in it. You have to see the pics to really appreciate it.

We visited Anatara for the dinner cruise run by the hotel. It's absolutely stunning inside! Everything was very clean and neat. The staff were all very kind and polite. The decor is exquisite. There seems to be a lot to do and see on property. It's a beautiful hotel.

Absolutely stunning hotel resort on the river. Staff very friendly and polite, pool immaculate, rooms beautiful and clean. Food to die for, from the cafe, to restaurant and room service. Catch the resort ferry into town, it connects to the BTS about a 20 minute sail away. Mall outside the front of the resort with pizza, ice cream and lots of local food along the road. My favorite hotel in Bangkok by a long shot.

I really cant say enough good things about this place. I am on day 8 of 14 of the required quarantine and the staff has been so kind and welcoming and accommodating. The food has also been fantastic. I got a riverfront deluxe room and am so happy I ended up here!

Anantara Riverside is a hotel where I know I will be back again and again. Accommodating staff at all times will make sure everything is just right! Great place to spend time with your kids, and the pool is fabulous!

Stayed here for a conference and I have to say the service is immaculate from check-in to check-out. The only slight drawback is the room, which is a bit old and the flushing system wasn't working well at first but they got it rectified rather quickly. Overall, a great relaxing stay albeit the busy conference schedule.

Loved to stay at this hotel. Went twice because we liked it the first visit. Many different food options. It is all quite expensive, but value for money is ok. Staff is very friendly.

One of the best resorts in Bangkok. Everything there is great. The rooms are amazing and wide. The service is wonderful and everyone there is friendly. The whole staff know English well. The offer free boat rides all day. The breakfast buffet is huge and it includes everything you think of. It is connected to a shopping mall. Love the place and will definitely recommend it.

Exceptional service. high end resort. rooms were clean and cosy. but unfortunately room was facing highway and construction. it was so noisy. 1am-4am boat engine rumbling loudly at the riverside. Cars/ambulance on the highway. didn’t get to relax during the stay. Try to request for other rooms non highway facing to avoid noise.

This was one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. From arrival to departure, we had excellent service in a truly beautiful location. We arrived in the afternoon after a bad flight with my husband being unwell. They had our room ready for us and they called a doctor to visit us in the room. Until our departure the staff kept checking on my husband. They fulfilled all our wishes without any hesitation. In regards to the food provision, we had excellent breakfast included and we also had a poolside meal and dinner at the longtail bar. Both were great. Prices are obviously a lot more than going in a local restaurant but you pay for the convenience and the surroundings. The pool area is amazing. You feel like you are in an exotic resort in an island rather than in the middle of a busy city. The rooms are beautiful and excellently maintained. This is a 30 year old hotel that maintains its original charm but also looks timeless. How do I know? I stayed in this resort 26 years ago and I feel it hasn’t changed much, but it still looks like an amazing hotel. I was very touched to speak to a porter who has worked there for 28 years. I would go back to Bangkok just to stay at Anantara. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The staff was good and hospitable, the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Rooms are comfortable with the nice amenities but quite old and some had a horrible view. The pool is nice and relaxed, loved it. Service wise it was not up to the Anantara standards, the man walked into my room when it was on DND sign, same goes for daily calls from the reception, the order from the menu and etc. Certain limitation of staff speaking English and I believe poor room management, as we were traveling big group, everyone ended up in different part of the hotel that lead to our in convenience and to complains from other guests who stayed there for resting while we had a celebration. In general it’s a decent place. The boat to the city center is a big plus, same goes for the mall across the street. Forgot to mention amazing Pup, such a rock star with the great attitude and ready to help. He mad E our stay awesome!

This is a wonderful place to stay at. They are so welcoming and modern, and the fact that you can get a room facing Asiatique the Riverfront was an experience that you can not forget. Everything is done through an app available for Android and Apple, ordering food taxi, chats, all of these can be done through the app.

Stayed here for a conference, it's a great hotel, a bit busy in the lobby, and friendly staff throughout. Breakfast buffet is great with lots of options and outdoor seating next to the river. Gym is great as well. The river boat to the sky train is very convenient. It's a bit of time to get to downtown Bangkok or to the airport, but it's a treat to be along the river. Also easy to take a taxi up the road to Icon Siam. Would definitely bring my family to stay here.

What a lovely resort! The rooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. There are beautiful views of the river and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Pool is wonderful and there are so many restaurants to choose from! The breakfast buffet is absolutely insane. Perfect place to begin our honeymoon!

Excellent hotel. Prices have skyrocketed in the past 7 years. Super comfy beds and luxurious room. The only con besides extremely high prices (even for water at restaurants) is that check in is painstakingly slow. Update- Checkout was very, very slow as well. Plan extra time for these.

Excellent hotel with very reasonable rates compared to other countries. Food was great. Location could not be better. They even offer a shuttle boat to take you to a top shopping center. Rooms are wonderful. Service is impecable. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay in Bangkok! Clean room, very friendly staff, and nice aesthetics/atmosphere across the property. Some of the restaurants and excursions seemed a bit overpriced compared to what we could find on our own, but glad there were different options available on site. The hotel is also conveniently connected to a mall with several places for shopping, food, drinks, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. Thank you very much :)

I had a wonderful stay here. It’s a perfect family getaway vibe but in the bustling city. The highlight for me was the incredible hospitality by all the staff members. As a vegetarian, food can be an issue - but big ups for the chef Arwuth B. who was proactive and gave us many alternate options. Would recommend if you’re looking to relax, take boat rides and chill for a few days in bkk!

My partner and I couldn’t believe that we were starting our holiday in this amazing hotel. The level of service and friendliness from the staff, especially Sandy and NJ, were outstanding. Although the bathrooms are on the slight verge of starting to appear dated this minor issue is far surpassed by the rest of the amenities and services offered. The sprawling breakfast was definitely a highlight. The complimentary boat from the hotel into the central boat stop was unexpected and enabled us to explore Bangkok with ease. This hotel was certainly a major highlight of our time in Thailand. Definitely want to come back and stay here.

We love this hotel so much. We was the 6 time here, and everything is very well. My daughter (Emily) loves the Staff from the Kasara Lounge :especially Cream so much. She was so lovely to her . We come next year again.

Love this hotel so much. Have stayed there twice now for a staycation with friends. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food is delicious. Drinks are too expensive though even for hotel prices which put us off buying many. The pool is really great - it's big, clean and has plenty of sunbeds. Jacuzzi also very relaxing. Look out for great deals at the moment which include dinner. Well worth it. The rooms are clean, the beds and linen are super comfy and the bathrooms have shower and separate bath tub. They also have big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Oh and there's a little mall out the front with a 7/11. Always useful to have. 😀

Staff was super friendly, the breakfast buffet couldn't have more options and it's location towards the river makes it great for catching a boat and easily go somewhere else. There's a very handy mall in front of it with plenty food options and some shopping. Worth the visit if you'd like to get something quick. Stayed here with my family for 3 nights. In ASQ at Anantara Riverside and loving it! I booked a riverfront room and so glad I did esp w the rule about no walking after a second negative covid test (as it was before). Food is amazing, the service even more so. You can see all the choices and order more or less and it is not served in plastic containers- small things but really makes a difference. Also no small shampoos and conditioner plastic bottles, just refillable ones. The staff is very quick to respond to any requests including a fan for the balcony (bye mozzies) and bath salts - so trying to make the ASQ a little bit of a lazy staycation during the 2 ASQ weekends. Highly recommended!

As time share ownership for Anantara. Booked into a 2 rooms suite, I WAS SHOCKED that there is no view other than seeing rooftops from the balcony beside, furnishings are old and resort is not well maintained. It is a rip-off by the MGT. Never never book this suite unless u get it for a song. Paid for 2 nights but stayed 1 nights. The hotel needs a alot of upgrades. Devastating experience ! But the riverside is interesting and beautiful. Try SEEN on 26th flr, Amazing view of Chao Praya river.

A little bit pricey but absolutely wonderful in every way. One of the most amazing hotel pools I've ever seen. Great service and great restaurants. I try stay here at least once a year.

So far so good. Really nice resort location in the middle of Bangkok. Unfortunately a lot of kids playing and screaming in the pool. Today at breakfast some obnoxious middle-eastern guy at the next table is having a very loud phone conversation over the loadspeaker. Runs around the entire breakfast area without a mask still talking into his phone while contaminating the food on display. Not very safe while being in the midst of a Covid pandemic. However, the numerous staff swirling around choses to ignore it diligently. Unfortunately it was me who had to tell him off.

Good atmosphere,near the chao phraya river. Garden atmosphere,good breakfast especially dim sum. Good manner of the hotel staff,they 're so kind and good manner. Nice place to stay here.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Bangkok, or like we, had one night stopover. Arrived early in the day, but luckily the rooms were ready. After a little nap, we joined the day at the pool. Dinner at the river was delicious. Stuff is more than friendly and the rooms are excellent. Very cosy beds and linen. Breakfast is amazing! We will come back!

I believed the hotel design style is more towards a more traditional Thai style, the room furnishings may be tilted towards the more "wood" furnishings. But its still very comfy. Service is great. The gym is super! Big and clean. Comes with sauna and steam room inside each changing room. Only downside is that I can only leave here to take the free boat shuttle to the nearest bts from 12pm onwards.

Visited Friends who were staying there. Very nice suite 180° balcony overlooking pool .and river. service could have been better in Trader Vic's. Hotel staff helpful and friendly.

Best service and amazing resort. As I have gold status with Expedia, they upgraded my room to have a view of the river. Buffet breakfast was delicious and had a massive selection to choose from. Aroy! Test and go ran smoothly - we tested about 7pm at the hotel and we received the results at 4am.

Great resort to stay in that is connected to the riverside mall. Great food options at the mall too. Wonderful Service, Great Breakfast. Loved the pool restaurants and bar. I didn't get a chance to check out the spa but it was pricey. Best part is the resort offers boat shuttles to nearby metro stations and also the ICONSIAM mall.

This is our third time staying here, so you know we like it. All the usual, attentive staff,beautiful food, many choices, great spot on the river with a fast shuttle to a rail station. Anantara once again provides a welcoming environment

Rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of drinking water provided for 2. Food is very good, breakfast is top notch! The service is good, everyone speaks excellent English, smiles and always very helpful but it can be disorganised at meals so you can end up waiting quite a while for service. Location is great if you're happy to use the free River shuttle. It takes you straight to Sathorn Pier from which you can get the sky train or another River shuttle to take you to all the important places. I also recommend a spa treatment if you can fit it in! Overall will highly recommend to friends looking to explore Bangkok!

You can dine and drink with the view of the ocean and the rise building in the city. And you can dine also at their cozy restaurant with their selective specialty cuisine. Amenities includes a spa, a hot tub and kids club. Highly recommended!!!
