Impressive monument but located in a very strange place, right in the heart of a very large roundabout. The fumes from all the traffic will make you dizzy.

This is a really cool monument, and a great inner-city park. They have two jogging paths inside, a big one and a little one. There's a under the road stairway so that you can get across safely, and there are sky bridges so you can walk to it from any direction on the roundabout without running into traffic. It's nice and peaceful and serene inside the park, despite it being one of Bangkok's busiest roundabouts. Definitely worth visiting.

Takes a while to get here since itโ€™s far from the city centre. Originally went to take some street photos here but wouldnโ€™t say it was worth all the time it took.

The great statue is at the center of the roundabout. Be careful when crossing the street. That after You can take picture safety with choicing best points from 360 degree.

As a Thai myself. The statue of King Taksin the Great is a great historic landmark that represents the nation greatly
