This temple is really nice. The black demon of Wednesday night sits at the foot of a huge golden Buddha, itself seated upon a host of silver elephants. A lot of nice, highly decorative smaller temples surround. Overall a calm, serene, and aesthetically pleasing place. Definitely worth a visit, especially if your going to see the giant Buddha!

Perhaps a little overshadowed by it's more illustrious neighbour "Wat Paknam" it is nonetheless worth visiting and just the other side of the waterway reach via a small pedestrian bridge. The most impressive part of this Temple is the Buddha Statue supported on the backs of three elephants. Both elephants and triple numbers have much significance in Buddhism.

This temple is next to a canal. Beautiful Buddha and other sculptures. There's a foot bridge connected to other Wat.

If you are visiting the more popular Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, I will still recommend the short 5 min walk across the khlong to visit. Is much quietier but some interesting things to explore.

So beautiful temple. No tourists. Found it by researching local temples. A gem of a place alongside canal. Lovely to see local life living by the canal. Interesting Experience as we took a local non AC bus to get here. Can’t get any more authentic.

If you are looking at reviews of this temple, chances are you also looked at Paknam Phasi Charoen Temple across the river (which is a must see). If you are in the area it's definitely worth visiting this one too. You can get here by walking behind the big buddha and stupa of the former and taking a footpath and bridge over the river to this temple. You can see some unusual deities and mythical figures here. The closest MRT station is Bang Phai. I recommend walking from the station to Paknam Phasi Charoen Temple and then visiting this temple as well after that. It seems that not many tourists come here even though it takes just a couple of minutes to walk here.
