Love this Cafe! Reasonable prices and the coffee is so good. Each drink is hand crafted unlike the automatic espresso machines and milk steamers that franchises use. The croissant sandwiches are also delicious on their freshly baked croissants!

Lovely cafe with great coffee and tempting pastries. Clean and bright. A beautiful ambiance. Would love to know when there is live music here, as I've seen in some comments.

I am not one to post a review about a place, however, the kindness I got today was indescribable. I happened to come a few minutes after closing, and he still let me in to order food! Fantastic small cafe, just across the street at Brock. They have a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The most unique drink is they have mushroom coffee! I've heard great things about it and have always wanted to try it, gave me an extra kick. Picked up a sandwich as well for lunch. Otherwise no complaints, its clean space. Great spot for students.

Amazing sandwiches, coffee, and other treats. I recommend the prosciutto cheese sandwich, the spinach & feta scone, the brown sugar latte, and the honey cinnamon latte but I have more to try! There's also BBQs every weekday at 11am!

Excellent coffee, with nice variety of munchies in an excellent atmosphere. Beautiful and clean facilities. Friendly staff. Dairy free options. Will be back here again.

The Essential Cafe was the best experience I have ever had at a Cafe! Arrived near closing but the owner allowed us to stay and chat after hours with a complimentary muffin!! He was so friendly and treated us like family. The vibe here is amazing and will be recommending it to everyone in search of a new cafe!

Walked in and immediately felt calm. Colors are beautiful, plants and seating top notch. Staff was welcoming, did not hurry me while I was ordering. Love this place.

Have been to this Cafe a few times since opening. Always have enjoyed the atmosphere, service and coffee. Last two visits I was disappointed in the coffee and the music a little too loud for conversation. I just drink regular coffee and I found it to be very weak and very little flavor. I should of mentioned when there. I really like it here, and will try again, as I want to support our local businesses. Donna

A great place to relax and try out their changing baked goods and delicious meals! They’ve got scones, muffins, croissant sandwiches (warmed if you ask), bagels, energy bars, and a constantly rotating lunch menu. Their tea blends are also specially made and really great to try! It’s also a good place to study if you’re a student :) Plus, the owners are really kind and wonderful people. I’ve been going there since they opened a couple years ago and it’s a very welcoming place to spend some time.
