A wonderfully senic historical park a good place to relax with a nature walk, enjoy a stretch of the Bruce trail. Its relitivly safe for dogs to have an unleashed romp and a great place to have a picnic with the kids... age friendly from toddlers to those whom now toddle on. It also has a few decent fishing spots, for an angler that has some time to bait a hook. facilities(porta-pottie.) on site..for those that just..gotta go. :-) T.

Not much here but the sanitized manicured ruins of the house that Laura Secord ran to and hid at one fateful night. Interesting from a historical perspective as a landmark but not much to see. The park around it is much nicer.

Nice place for a hike, or just a place to sit and get away from city life.

Love that this place is being saved and that there is a native memorial near it. I love nature.

πŸ‘ There’s a small- medium sized parking lot with free parking. Usually this place is not too busy. You can walk a short distance towards a boardwalk along the lake. There is a lookout on the boardwalk. The boardwalk leads to some short trails along the lake. This is a great place to go for a quick str...
