    Absolutely magnificent the staff the hotel the rooms all beautiful and clean. If your in tillburg make this your only hotel stay!

    On your website, the information about the swimming pool entrance is not up to date. It looks like it refers to the past pandemic period. In my room, I could not figure out how to call reception on the telephone ( there is no leaflet with dialing instructions ) The safe was locked, and I could not use it With surprise, I noticed that the minibar was empty, and not even a bottle of water was provided ( for the price paid of over € 150,00/ single room - a complimentary glass of water would be appreciated): upon check-in, I was not informed about this empty minibar and how the fill-up procedure works, etc. I had to come downstairs to shop at the mini market at the reception, which, after a long day's drive, was quite annoying. Do not disturb - make up my room sign are not in the room, neither I could find a switch to inform maid service not to disturb … The Pillows, which initially seem very comfortable, are high on the neck. While the bed is super comfy, the pillows are not, and I would expect an extra type of pillow in the closet for guests like me that find the pillow provided uncomfortable. Restaurant reception, I visited the restaurant for dinner; I waited and waited and waited to be seated, but no -one showed up - I tried to make eye contact with one of the waiters but did not succeed, so I left. Upon breakfast, same story, but this time I decide to walk to a table and consume my morning meal. I visited the pool in the evening and again in the morning. I am used to exercising in pools daily, but in this pool, it was a bit different because of the high content of chemicals in the water. You could smell a high content of chlorine in the water and in fact, my skin reacted in both visits by hitching. The sauna and steam rooms are a nice addition to the spa area. It is a pity that in an area where the lights are very important to ensure relaxation, instead, I found large chandeliers over the pool with a cold diffuse light + intense spotlights pointed exactly over the relaxation benches and more hanging lamps with warm lights. The result of this light show is unpleasant and does not invite guests to enjoy the spa. The evening I used the Spa there were no towels or water to drink. The morning after, even though the cleaner had been in the spa, no towels or the water in the XL bottle had been replaced. There are two water fountains in the Pool - during both of my visits, I could not use them because they did not function.

    We had a conference there. Big room and facility for such event with a big group. Nice service for the pause and tasty lunch.

    Their massages are FENOMENAL, which is unfortunately the only truly positive thing I have to say about the place. We went down to have a quick dinner at 8 & wanted to be back in the rooms by 21:00-21:30 latest. The food service was so slow that we had to retro-actively cancel our desert at 22:40 because we could no longer justify sitting there for close to 3 hours waiting for food. Upon check-out, I requested a taxi to be called, to which the front desk happily obliged. After waiting for 40 minutes I asked how much longer the taxi would take. I was informed they forgot to call the cab, but "it would not really make sense to call them anyways as they are very busy so the wait times are more than 2 hours". The service has been flat out unacceptable.

    Very dirty rooms, not cleaned for weeks! Staff that is not treating you as a guest. This is a hotel that says 4 star exclusive,but is below 1star. The pictures of the room will show you the lack of overall cleaning. I would never recommend this. 125€ for a night in a squeezing bed with no fresh made coffee at the breakfast, over priced room service (15€ per time you order)! I travel a lot for my work, and i will definitely never recommend this. After 1 night (of the 3 booked) i got a new room, that was checked by them . Upon inspection,the new room was even more dirty! The receptionist started a discussion with me, the guest, because it could not be possible that it was not clean. Here are the pictures.. it speaks for itself. 0/10 Booking would be smart sending a health inspector to this place.

    Very upstanding vdValk hotel. Great location near highway, also on walkable distance to city. Very roomy setting inside. Clean and comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Exclusive diner. Excellent staff. Great place to organize symposia (well equiped with chairs, screen, beamer, etc.).

    We ate in the restaurant. Nice ambiance but got noisy once filling up. Service: Alex was an excellent waiter and offered us good suggestions and was very attentive. Food selection was good offering fish, fowl beef, pork as well as vegetarian that were very seasonally focused. The quality and presentation were superb which didn’t surprise me as I have had good experiences at “most” v/d Valk restaurants. It was the best carpaccio I have had here in the Netherlands. The duck I had and the steak of my companion was also very good. Coffee could be better. I ordered an espresso but think it wasn’t made with espresso beans. We’ll be back again.

    Numerous Christmas trees adorned the surroundings. The food was delightful, and the rooms featured appealing amenities, including a spacious tub. For those interested, there's a wellness center and a casino available. The only downside was the morning coffee; like many hotels, maintaining spotless coffee machines daily appeared to be a challenge.

    This hotel is not great. If you want to sleep and are sensitive to light make sure to request an odd number room. The even numbered rooms are facing the sunrise and the curtains (if that's what you try to call them) are very cheap and thin and they do not block the sun. As a result my room was very bright at 6:00AM and woke me up it was so bright. If you get warm while sleeping this hotel is not great either. The Air conditioner in my room doesn't work very good. The bad part is you only get a blanket and no sheet. So it's either get hot with a blanket or have nothing at all which is a tough way for most people to sleep. If you plan on getting in late at night make sure you eat before getting to the hotel as they do not after late night room service and there's not many options nearby. I was in my room at 11:30PM (23:30) in a Saturday night and room service was not available. Overall the hotel is clean but lacks a LOT in making the customers stay a comfortable one.

    We are extremely disappointed. We booked a Penthouse and got a dirty room (pictures attached). We received as many baby cots as we asked for twice. It was probably a house party at the weekend, because the balcony was full of broken glass, the glasses were dirty, there were flower petals under the bed, the bed was full of stains, the sofa had holes. All this in a "highly qualified" hotel, at least for the price :(

    We booked for 10 persons in the restaurant but our experience was very bad the food was good but the service was shocking and awful we call the waiters many many times to clean until we cleaned our table and the waiter was picking the glasses one by one (only one glass in his hand ) like he was doing it on purpose !!!

    Location is excellent for Beekse Bergen but nothing in walking distance of the hotel, like a hotel in Tilburg. Very easy access to highways if on a business trip. So location could be good or bad depending on what your reason for stay is.

    We went for a family birthday dinner. The staff was very friendly, they decorated the table with helium filled ballons. Food was good, not great. At dessert they came to sing and had a nice birthdayplatter. For children they have a special menu and also a present at the counter afterwards. Would recommend.

    We went for a family dinner in the evening. The service and waiting time was good before 18:00. Around 19:00, the waiters get very busy and has to wait for 20min for a simple kid ice cream….

    Could do with some basic information from reception. Maybe when you report something not working in the room someone just might come and fix it. Other than that it is a nice, clean hotel.

    The most horrible service i have ever experienced especially at the cafeteria the waitors have rude unfriendly attitude they make you pay for your coffee before you even get and you have to wait 20 minutes for it.

    We had an excellent stay here for one night. Very welcoming staff and good hospitality. We had a miscommunication in our order at the restaurant but the manager solved the problem to our satisfaction. We will definitely recommend this hotel in Tilburg.

    The hotel is absolutely beautiful with all new amenities. The rooms are very comfortable. Location is off the highway. My favorite part is visiting the restaurant because they have an awesome server, his name is Marc. He knows how to take care of his guests. We return Back to the restaurant quite often because of the great service we get from Marc. Thanks Marc for being so awesome! We will be back

    Loved the room we got here! Paid extra for the package with champagne and rose petals, unfortunately the roses were fake 😅 otherwise would have been a 5* review. Bathtub was awesome. Had a shared balcony off of the room where we could have a smoke. Room service brought the wrong item, but we called within 20 mins of closing and it was close enough. Breakfast was delicious.

    This hotel cannot be faulted. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom fabulous!. Room cleanliness excellent every day clean towels etc. Breakfast was a feast, so much to choose from, fresh fruit, cooked, cold meats, breads, cakes wed. Dinner again very good. The staff were always accommodating, profffessional and welcoming. Other hotels should look to this one for quality service and value for money

    Very good as usual. Food is good breakfast is compleet. Chef cook at the breakfast could be skittle more happy as she looked bored and working as a robot. Also having a taxi from this place is disaster, think of a voucher to give to your driver bc it’s a closed parking so cars can’t easily drive in and out

    Nice location and building. Nice selection of food, o.k. prices. When we were there some staff servicing us was a bit unattentive not noticing we wanted to order and pay, but overall staff was good. Recommend!

    The Van Der Valk standard is always a warranty for carefree pampering, but the available facilities here are an extra selling point. The wellness center was tidy, skybar as spectacular as it gets in Holland and the rooms breathe a delightfully tranquil aura with the open bathroom design. Additionally, the bubble option for the baths are a most welcome finishing touch to an utmost relaxed stay.

    The room is clean and nice. Enjoyed the bathtub and our stay there. However the food at the restaurant was not very nice at that day. we used to like to go eat at Van der Valk across different locations, because the food quality was always good. However this time was a disappointment to us. We ordered a mix grill and sliptong . Mix grill was poorly presented, the meat was not fresh at all. You can see that all the meat are prepared way in advance, they just warm it up before serving. Sliptong was ok, but the side dish like vegetables was also not fresh. Hope they can improve!

    Room is clean and tidy, staffs are very nice. Their breakfast is excellent. The only bad thing is the location, it takes you almost 20 mins to the nearest bus station. Nevertheless, a great hotel!

    Propably one of the best in tilburg for a reason. The food is great the bra even better.
