Service was great, food was great. I ordered the lunch special salmon and scallop hibachi , a Kani salad, and Shumai. The cook was great too.

Come in for lunch order appetizer.. it comes out the waitress says what would you like for lunch i order habachi in the middle of eating my appetizer the soup and salad come as im finishing kani salad i didnt touch my soup or salad yet i get shrimp habachi placed on the table. Its not busy at all why do i always get rushed here ive complained about this before. Why are they in such a rush. I cant enjoy my meal. In this country we have a small break between soup salad appetizer and dinner to allow for digestion. Did nobody teach that to you in the restaurant business ?

Stopped in on a cold, snowy, Monday night. Sat at the back bar and had a bottle of their Pino Grigio, Spicy Tuna Roll, Tuna Roll, Philadelphia Roll, and a California roll. Everything was amazing! Staff was super friendly, wine was decent, we will definitely be back!

My girlfriend found a caterpillar in her salad. The hibachi was good but I don’t know if I can trust the food anymore. Considering there was a fully grown and developed caterpillar inside of her salad. Good thing we didn’t touch the salad the other night. Or there would be no chance we’d ever be ordering from here again.

Food is always delicious and filling. Must come here on an empty stomach. The hibachi chef always makes each visit exciting, its refreshing to see them cook a little different so that its not always the same thing. The pictures are the dinner bento boxes (salmon teriyaki in the front, chicken teriyaki in the back). The bento boxes were delicious! Definitely set my standard high, will be getting this again next time!

I went there with my family last night and it was gross. The bathrooms were filthy and there was a dirty underwear in the men’s bathroom and had poop on the walls. The food was too salty and the hibachi chef basically threw the food on every family and no sauce was given. We are not going back. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I am horribly disappointed. My husband and I went for lunch. We both had soup which was at best bland he had a salad and the dressing was pretty good, sadly it was the only thing that was good. I ordered scallion pancakes which actually had oil dripping out of them like cheap pizza. the shumai which is supposed to be shrimp was actually fish with a tiny piece of shrimp in it. the dumplings tasted frozen and were the size of a Reece's mini peanut butter cup. My husband got Pad Thai chicken noodles, they use chili oil to mimic flavor which hides the lack of real actual flavor. The oil stays on your tongue so there is nothing but heat. The portions were a good size but who wants to eat food like that?? The prices were fair but the food lacked flavor, nuance, depth and the most important ingredient....someone caring about what it tastes like.

The food was good enough, though the sushi rolls were heavy on the cucumber and very light on fish. But what really got me was how gross the bathrooms were. There was no trash can near the sinks and the trash can in one of the stalls was incredibly nasty. The child changing station didn’t look like it had ever been wiped. Seeing how they keep the bathroom made me totally lose my appetite.

They were artfully placed in the takeout boxes with care. The ingredients were fresh, and each had enough soy sauce and wasabi to feel creative with the flavor while eating.

Food is superb, service is really good, prices are normal.

As all of you know we have a PANDEMIC going on. So they are only doing take out orders. The cooks DO NOT WEAR MASKS IN THE BACK while cooking the food. I ordered and went into the mall to go into a store and as i’m walking past i see that NONE of them have masks on. No food is worth your life. Do nothing recommend eating here.

Chef was fantastic. Hilarious and talented! Did was mediocre. You'd be better off going to another local joint. Wait staff was quick and efficient but had a somewhat unwelcoming disposition about them. It didn't help that they cleaned up the table and brought the check before they asked if our table wanted ice cream, which was actually included in the price of my meal. Kind of off-putting.

The food is great and the presentation of the drink and food in phenomenal. Great service and beautiful decor the only thing is it's a little pricey.

I used to love their food. I would frequent here once a week. Unfortunately, they have gone downhill over the last year. The food is definitely not the same taste and quality and it’s sad. I ordered take out last night- shrimp and broccoli and fried rice. The shrimp and broccoli was severely lackluster. The broccoli was barely cooked and they didn’t even clean the shrimp properly- gross. The fried rice was just their hibachi rice literally plain with scallions (?) on top and no taste at all. I think I’m done ordering from here. PF Changs may give them a run for their money.

Great atmosphere! The hibachi cook was on point! Thanks man! My steak was actually cooked the way I ordered. 1st for me for a hibachi restaurant. Usually always over cooked. BYOB! Only very small hiccup was the servers delivering appetizers to the wrong people. It was actually funny cause they did it every time. Good experience overall

Great experience! Our chef, Mike, was amazing. My 3 children thought he was the greatest. We've been to many hibachi establishments and this was by far the best experience. Food was great, service was awesome as well. Great overall experience!

This place used to be one of my favorites, but the food was terrible today when me and the family went for my sons birthday. They definitely changed some products and cheapened it. Probably losing business to PF Changs unfortunately, which sucks because I'd rather the non corporate restaurant succeed. The service has also taken a dip as we were extremely rushed when there was only 3 tables in the whole place.

Extremely rude staff with the exception of the cook. I would've left had I saw the bathroom prior to my food being cooked. There was feces all over the bathroom and it remained that way for the duration of my stay. Food was subpar; I wouldn't recommend. Do yourself a favor and go to another hibachi spot. There's plenty of better one's around.

It was my son's 18th birthday, and was worried about coming In with gift a balloons, but as soon as I arrived the staff and Mgr were very helpful and allowed to use what ever room I needed. Food and amazing, delicious and larger portions , hibachi Chef was the man, funny , entertaining and kid friendly. All I can say hands down this place is family friendly and the attention to detail is spot on with the food and Johnny on the spot with your drinks and comfort.

This place is godly. The fried rice here makes me want to jump up and down from happiness. The food is INCREDIBLE and the service is so fast and nice. Although the new staff needs to be more educated on the gluten free options because my waiter had no idea miso soup was gluten free which was frightening but this is my goto restaurant.

Took our 16 month old here, her first time for hibachi. She loved it. Food was great and service. Byob also which is always a plus. Weird location in the back of mall but will go to again.

Ichiban has completely fallen off. They used to be the best around. I don't know what happened. Their portions got significantly smaller while their prices have shot up. Their filet mignon option, while more expensive, is 90% fat and almost repulsive to try to eat. Their vegetables are 90% green bell peppers and tomatoes, with a few pieces of broccoli thrown in, a bunch of peas, and you'll be lucky to find a 1/2 of a mushroom somewhere in there. Their rice is the only good thing about this place. If I were you, I'd order some rice to take out, then go get the rest of your meal somewhere else.

Food was delicious. My beef teriyaki was different than I expected, but was still very good. Service, on the other hand can be a little better. Communication with the wait staff was difficult. Two of the four meals on our table had to go back because they were cold. They said they would put them in the microwave to warm them up. We insisted on new meals. We waited a while, so I hope they were redone.

Had a delicious lunch. Wife had the bento box dinner n I had shrimp n vegetable tempora. Both meals came w/miso soup. Service was outstanding. Waitress was very helpful. We'll definitely return.

They are offering pickup only at this time. Ordered the Teriyaki Salmon and Hibachi Chicken meals. Salmon meal had two pieces of fish on a bed of nicely cooked veggies. Came with white rice and Miso soup. Quite filling. Hibachi Chicken served with fried rice and a side of flavorful noodles and veggies. Came with soup aswell. Enough to eat the next day. Everything was delicious.

We have not tried their section where the chef cooks in front of you but we have gone to dinner or lunch in their dining section and everytime the service is quick, friendly, and delicious...I highly reccomend 1 of their lemonades..our favorite is coconut lemonade!

Every time we go here it is amazing... their food is always fresh and the staff is always attentive. It is byob... if I have a choice of places to go for sushi this is always my number one choice you cannot beat it for the price!!

WARNING DO NOT EAT THEIR SUSHI I had bought a volcano roll the other night I though it tasted fishy after I ate it I experienced stomach pain for about 2 hours before I started uncontrollably vomiting I had to go to the hospital because I was so sick never eat here the roll I recieved I would not even consider a volcano roll it was nothing like one and the sushi was cut about 2 inches thick it was terrible I only ate it because I had bought it already and would not be given a refund no one there was wearing a mask not the cooks or the people who take your order this is an abomination of health codes please avoid this travesty at all costs of you might end up in the hospital because of their spoiled fish

The service is over the top! Every single employee works together and constantly made sure we didn't need anything. The food came out fast and was excellent. We had the filet and chicken hibachi and a roll. Will definitely be back.

We use to come to the resturant about once a week for lunch until I found a metal wire in my shrimp tempura. I was extremely disappointed in how the staff and manger handled the situation.. I pretty much had to argue with them to remove it off my bill. I could have gotten very hurt or sick. I wouldn't go back.. which is very upsetting since we still have giftcards from over the holidays to use. We now go to koi in Tom's River and they are very friendly and appreciate our business. Shame on the manager and owner of this place.
