Delicious donuts! Have gone there 2-3 mornings per week for a month now! My favorite flavor is "Grave Dirt" which is available year-round! There are six additional flavors monthly to represent each month while 12 popular flavors remain. All together there are 15 donuts you can choose through the seasons with the 3 basic ones being cinnamon sugar, sugar dusted and plain. The other 12 are topped with icing and some sort of topping. They have 3 fillings: Bavarian cream, chocolate cream and vanilla cream. Additional fillings come and go each month but those are the 3 typical ones. Hope you try them out soon! They're delicious!!

We ordered a big variety of donuts in a box of 12. The real surprise hits were the key lime and the toasted coconut donuts. Every donut we had was absolutely fantastic. They're so flavorful compared to what you're typically used to from regular chains. The coffee was excellent and fresh. If I was to compare this place to the best gourmet donuts I've ever had, then that would be Federal Donuts, which I would still say is substantially better in terms of the depth and breadth of flavor. But for those you would have to drive to Philadelphia and this is the best you can do in New Jersey.

The doughnuts are fantastic! Fresh, delicious and perfect with coffee. Just go get them!

I use to love getting the donuts when I worked at the courthouse across the street. But on May 14th we were standing at the window with our one year old son. The daughter of the family behind us, accidentally tapped the window when pointing to her donuts she wanted. My wife was met with the worst service I think I've experienced in New Jersey. The order taker proceeded to scold my wife telling her it's one customer at a time and they take the order when ready. My wife said she didn't tap the window. The family behind us even tried to explain what happened. They took our order and we handed over the card. My wife seeking at least a simple apology by saying "thanks for the unnecessary rudeness" ... Had our card tossed back at us and the window slammed in our face. My review won't hurt your guys business, I know that. I just want people to know the type of person you really are.

Unique donut, all the combinations are great. Hard to pick just one Seasonal varieties keep things interesting.

these donuts are not it…that apple cinnamon was copper tasting the peanut butter jelly was copper tasting the red frosted was cherry cola not so good tasted like icee syrup and the one with black dots just smells so bad I don’t even wanna taste the rest the Samoa one was edible just wow first and last experience here. To say the least

OMG. Massive donut lover here. I was visiting Jersey from out of state and was so excited to try Uncle Dood's. I am beyond impressed. We went early on a Sunday and there were a few people ahead of us but the line moved really quickly. The way it works is that we wait in line outside, no indoor access that I could tell. But because it was a nice, summer day and the line moved efficiently it wasn't an issue at all and I rather enjoyed the experience. Our box of 9 were handed to us even quicker than anticipated and we had a box of hot/warm donuts to consume. Wow, they were incredible donuts! I cannot say enough good things about them! They had amazing flavor options including their regular year-round flavors and a rotation of monthly donuts. The green donut in the picture was the only "June" donut we got. It was called Training Wheels and it was an amazing tequila lime flavor with salt. Soooo good! The rest were regular flavors). My favorite was the chocolate Oreo donut (don't remember the clever name) and we also got a PB Oreo. The donuts were hot, soft, moist, and had such an amazing flavor all on their own, on top of the incredible topping options. The only drawback is that I don't live closer to sample them regularly. 🥺 Highly recommend this gem aka "donut lover's paradise".

The best donuts and service in all of NJ! They make them fresh to order! You can customize with any of the toppings they have! The staff are quick and polite! You'll never go back to Dunkin!🍩💜

Been coming here for a while and the donuts are awesome. But had a weird encounter when the employee instead of handing me my change put it in the tip jar for themselves… granted it was only a dollar and change and I was going to do it myself anyways…. But still very odd.

During a quick few day getaway, we decided to make a pitstop and try Uncle Doods as we heard it was the best. Luckily, we got there to no line and no waiting. We got about a half a dozen different kinds off of the menu. From the fillings, to the toppings, to the frosting, all the way down to the perfect crisp on the doughnut, these were nothing short of delicious. Very glad we stopped, and it will definitely be on the itinerary next time around

This walk-up window donut shop is a little bit of heaven. The donuts are made all day. They are hand prepared(decorated) as you order them. The final result is a warm, sensational, unique treat. With a month to month rotating menu, they'll keep you coming back frequently. The staff there is all super friendly and personable. If you're ever anywhere close to Uncle Dood's, it is worth the trip.... You're welcome!!!

We finally passed by and found the place and we just had to stop and pick up a couple of donut'z to try... I chose a fruity pebble one, Sandy chose a Samoa... They were oh so tasty... We'll be stopping there again next time we are in the area... It iz so worth the stop...

Awesome! Was surprised how fresh they were. They are light and fried fresh didn't seem like they would last more than a few hours so keep in mind when ordering quantity.

Very delicious donuts! Great tasting all the way around! Only drawback is there is only one person working the window, who also is helping with the orders so it’s not a constant flow of customers. And standing out there waiting in front of the store you are subject to full sun! Would be nice to have a little awning if we are forced to wait.

These guys went above and beyond for my daughter’s birthday. My wife placed a large order with another donut shop but was closed when she went to pick up her order. These guys made over 27 donuts last second for her class. Thank you very much. We will definitely be using you again and recommending you to everyone we know.

So good, whether shared with Aunt Lillian and my favorite company or as my breakfast dessert on the beach! Thanks to the kind lady at the counter who was so patient with me. I ordered a Bavarian cream filled s’mores donut and even got extra marshmallows! Pricey at over $2.50, but so delicious and fresh! With a free Wawa coffee for teacher appreciation in September, I’m a very happy camper!

Now I live in Ocean Grove and I venture all the way to Toms River just for these doughnuts. My store manager brought them in for work and every since I've been hooked on them. My favorite is the "Grave Dirt", I normally don't do chocolate but these aren't just ordinary chocolate covered doughnuts.. Now I'm the one bringing them to work for my workers as a special treat and I've even delivered some to our Atlantic City Store. Hands down the best doughnuts around.. What a great time to be alive to experience this. Be well everyone.
