I was so happy to see a bagel place so close to my house. I have been there several times to be disappointed every time. Every time I have been there, there is no urgency pointed out to several customers. The customer service needs to be better. I thought the bagels are average not awhole lot of variety.

Shopped once, never again. Tried this place out on a Sunday morning and ordered online. Was told it would take 20 minutes for carry out, no problem. Arrived at the restaurant 20 min later. The place was packed, again, not a problem, but it being being my first visit, there isn't a sign nor anyone to guide customers who were there for carry out, thus I waited in line for about 15 min. Finally, got to cashier, was told that my online order was being prepared. I didn't receive my order for another 10 minutes. So, by the time I got home, it was about an hour, and, remember, i ordered online! Needless to say, the staff needs more training (there were 5 people behind counter, 1 cashier, 4 food prep workers milling about, no sense of purpose or urgency), the food (pictured) wasn't hot (notice cheese isn't even melted) and it's not something special that you can just replicate at home. If things become better, I'd like to dine there again because of the close proximity, but not anytime soon.

Joe's offers very consistent service and food, I always stop here when I am in the area. Plenty of parking and even a drive-through! Menu has all the staples, porkroll is a good size and always tasty

My gf and I ordered food online and came in to pick it up. There were 5 people behind the counter. Not one even said "Hi", let alone try to help us. We stood there for 15 mins being the only people in the store and were not even glanced at. I had to yell across the counter that I was standing there for them to even look my way and then it took them another 3 or 4 mins to come over to us and hand us our food that had been sitting on the counter in a sealed bag for God knows how long. The food was cold and soggy, we didn't even take the smoothie she ordered because since it sat so long, it separated. Never will be coming back. If I could give less then a star I would. This place is garbage

We were excited to try this place out but after our experience we won't be back. Placed our order and waited about 40 minutes for an egg & cheese bagel & Long Branch wrap. Bagel sandwich was a mess at best & the wrap had barely any chicken but was overloaded with Cesar dressing & Lettuce. Needless to say we threw are order out & went up the street to the diner. Live & Learn.

Decent bagels so I keep going back but I swear every single time I go they get the order wrong. And I’m talking about a plan bagel with butter.. they forget the butter. Usually always takes a long time to get your order. The drive through is open and at least twice I sat and waited an no one came over the speaker so I just went inside. Overall bagels are good but the service leaves lots to be desired.

I just came to visit from North Carolina and I haven’t had a good bagel since I left Brooklyn NY many years ago These bagels were the closest thing from what I remember.Excellent. For the people who complained, try finding a decent bagel in North Carolina. The owner was so pleasant. Excellent coffee. I will definitely return every time I visit my family in Bayville.

Out of the last 5 orders I placed here, 3 of them were incorrect. Take your money and go to Driftwood across the street. Much nicer people, never get an order wrong, much more bang for your buck.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Waited 40 min for 2 porkroll and cheese sandwiches on rolls. The place was not busy at all either, owner needs to hire new staff immediately.

I have visited New Jersey many times, but never had I tried the Pork and Egg Roll with Cheese. So having asked some friends which place would be best to try I was recommended Joes Bagel and Grill. It was great! The bagel was big and very filling. It was more than enough to kick start the day and see you through to lunch! The place was more of a drive through / take out place, but they had some table and chairs for dining in. I did dine in and it was ok but as I said it isn’t really a dine in experience. Overall fantastic food and drink and reasonably priced!

Don’t go here! Tried to order a sesame bagel and they only had plain bagels available at 7 am, nothing else. I got the plain with scallion cream cheese. Horrible…it was basically plain cream cheese with 3 large pieces of scallion thrown on top. They toasted it too much so the bottom was crunchy and cream cheese was melting/sliding off the bagel. Seems like it’s totally mismanaged and staff needs training.

I have revisited this location because of the online ordering convenience, however, they have messed up our order literally EVERY TIME. And they don’t answer the phone EVER! So done! They’ve made things wrong and have forgotten sides and toast and things but now it’s bagels and peoples actual meal. Read the ticket, make the order, and check bags for all items. Why is this difficult? And it’s not once, it’s every. single. time. So disappointed.

Have been coming here for years & always loved it. Like other reviews, the service has been going way downhill the past few months. Our orders are constantly wrong & missing items. I find myself spending way too much time waiting for our order to be remade. Last weekend we found a piece of metal Brillo pad in an omelet. Missing how good this place used to be

our order is never right on the first try, we went today and they had our order just sitting on the counter for ten minutes without calling out that it was ready. and i ordered a bagel with cream cheese (obviously cream cheese is extra) and there’s not even enough on it to cover the entire bagel, can’t even taste it.

Take the service inside, drive through just does not work well. Food is mostly ok, but I got falafel, and every patty was raw inside. I will probably not go again to this location, but since most other locations are great, I might give them another chance.

Sunday Aug. 20th. Just placed an order by phone. Tidal Wave in a wrap an got it on a roll, a sausage and cheese omelet and got a plain omelet with sausage on the side and a whole wheat Bagel with cream cheese on the side which actually came correct. This isn't the first time they can't get a order correct. My advice is to check each order before you leave because you never know what your going to get.....

Went to the drive thru for breakfast because I had my dog in the car with me. Rude service. I barley ordered my sandwich and the man taking my order kept cutting me off saying “anything else” an “is that all” ? I felt very rushed and uncomfortable. I ordered two sandwiches and a hash brown for $25 … we could have went to McDonald’s next door for $10! The wait itself took around 20 minutes In the drive thru. I know it’s made to order , but I feel like that’s very long. As I was in the drive thru I watched many people walk in and out of the store itself with food

Posting honestly in hopes for change. The food is great when you can get it and when the order is correct. Which it never is. When they first opened they’d always tell me they wouldn’t toast bagels at the drive thru on weekends because the toaster takes too long. So now I always have to go inside. Today I approached the drive thru with plans of getting just a bagel and taking it home to fix since it always gets messed up anyway. I said “Good morning” when I pulled up, because they’ve always had a sign that said their cameras don’t work, and to greet the camera so they know you’re there. After what seemed like a long wait the person who answered replied with, “I’ll be with you when I can.” I’m sorry.. maybe I’m just having a rough morning, but that’s not appropriate. I drove away. I really wanted the bagel, but I definitely don’t need it. I really want to enjoy this place, but it’s getting hard to do.

Unimpressed. Doughy bagel - not crisp/chewy. Poppy seed? counted 5 on the bagel, thought we got a plain by mistake except they were out of plain! Cream cheese thinly spread on half the bagel, other half dry. Not worth the $ compared to other shops. Won't be back.

we love Joe’s! their PEC is one of the best I’ve ever had. they do not skimp on the pork roll and that’s the most important. I took away one star because every time I call to place my order, it takes 4 sometimes 5 tries before somebody answers the phone. I get it, they’re busy! rightfully so! but it is something I wish they’d work on.

When this first place opened it was amazing never had any issues but suddenly 2022 comes around and Ive been extremely unhappy with this place , ordering no egg on sandwiches and them putting it anyway or ordering a plain bagel and them giving me an everything bagel. Its just mistake after mistake with this place . Today its my boyfriends birthday decided to get bagels for him and his family to have a nice breakfast together. Ordered at 9:41am on doordash to pick up on a Saturday. The app told us to come pick it up at around 10:00am. Had to get some stuff done first so arrived at around 10:30am and had to wait over half an hour for them to make our food when it should have been finished and ready to picked up.

Not impressed. Ordered a Falafel sandwich and it was dry so I asked for taziki and she said very proudly they don't serve it and offered red vinegar and oil, I said ok and she handed me a cup of straight oil. Not even olive oil it was vegetable oil. Ugh what the is this? I threw it out. My daughter had chicken fingers and fries which also were not very good, she barely touched any of it. What a waste of food and money. Will not be back.

$7.14 for a PEC with hashbrown. They forgot to put the hashbrown on. Barely any ketchup, like they wiped it on a quarter of the roll and that was it. Too many good places around to go back.

Here's to a little bit of happiness on a Monday morning! Going through the drive through(easy and low contact), getting what you actually ordered is so great. A scrambled egg (not white and yellow mushy mess) with Taylor ham that's actually cooked (not barely heated on a greasy plate) so yummy and soft rolls. A bit of heaven to make your morning awesome. Pricelessssss! How many times do you just want what you ordered and paid for? Get it here. Thank you so much Joe's!

Being new to the area I was looking for a good bagel shop, for my Taylor Ham fix. Been here seven months now and I can say the search is over. I stopped in Joe's Bagel on Fischer Ave. Ordered up my two favorite samiches. Sausage egg and cheese and Taylor Ham egg and cheese. The sausage was a single party two eggs and a smathering of cheese, then the surprise, the Taylor Ham was thick and three slices,. THREE. Two eggs and oh man lots of cheese. The place was bright, very clean, and laid out nice. Very spacious. Digital screens for the menu. Order and pickup places are clearly marked and a good selection of bottled drinks, and hot coffee. This is my first visit of many to come.

Today is the first time I've tried Joe's and I could not be happier with them. I picked up a bag of 6 assorted bagels. Despite the large size the garlic bagel is "light as air" when consumed. I did not feel over full as with other large size bagel and could not be happier. Kudos to Joe and the team.

Their Asian salad is the best salad I've ever had. I quite enjoy being able to pick up reasonably healthy options in the building where that horrible Burger King once existed. I recommend you give them a shot, especially if you're a TR local.

No one in drive thru what so ever. Lady on speaker extremely rude. She told us we can’t order hash browns in drive thru cause it takes to long. Got up to window and the food took long. All it was was two breakfast sandwiches and one plain bagel. She said “here” and tossed the bag at us. Food was half cold/half warm. Not happy, won’t return.

Have been coming to this location for years, but in the past few months place has gone downhill. My order is wrong every single time I get something. Even when the place is dead and I'm the only customer. Plain bagels instead of everything, missing ingredients in a salad and wrap, getting somebodies else's order - like, seriously, guys? :((( Please train your staff better, or hire some adults to supervise younger workers, apparently they are not doing great on their own.
