Gorgeous view, lots of parking, right near Mississippi Muds and Old Man River, very clean, love the path for walking. It can get crowded but people don't seem to mind. There's enough space on the path for skaters and cyclists.

Great slow paced bike trail. A little busy but that is to be expected with nice weather. Solar powered charging stations for phones and electronic devices. Lots of places to sit.

Beautiful place to enjoy the view of the river. Plenty of parking, picnic tables and benches and there is a paved bike/walking path that is wide enough to share and in a scenic, but open (think personal safety) location.

great place to visit. you can sit on one of the many benches and watch the boats go by. today, there was an arts and crafts show lots of interesting art to choose from.Thwre is also a bike path and a walking path for you to enjoy. you can have a nice picnic or eat at one of the two famous restaurants, Old Man River or Mississippi muds, I'm pretty sure that's the names but ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction. have a good day.

One of my favorite parks around for bike riding, roller blading or just taking a leisurely stroll along the river and watch boats go by. I spent a lot of time there with friends and family. There's ice cream and food across the street ( Mississippi muds) New upgrades include a smart device charging station

Very nice! There is a biking/walking path right along the river with seating sporadically placed. There are restrooms. Picnic tables. Plenty of parking all around.

I went to watch a band. It's a great space for that kind of event. It's really calm and relaxing, especially by the water.

This really nice riverside park is part of the system that Tonawanda has along the Niagara River. It's a very long, thin park with lots of parking, all along the route of the historic Erie Canal. I mostly use the bike path through here, but there are boat launches, overlooks for fishing, picnic tables, some shade trees, and lots of open grassy areas. I will say that given how close and easy parking is to the river, there can be some inconsiderate groups of people making lots of noise, making a mess, and/or just plain being unpleasant for those around them or passing by, but most people are considerate and do their best to keep the park nice.

A very well-kept park, wonderful bike, and walking paths. Perfect for families and pets! Not to mention across the street from Mississippi Mudds. Convenient for a meal and some ice cream!

Amazing park. The park has a long river side trail with stunning scenic beauty. You can do fishing here, enjoy lunch with your family beside the waters, or just bike around the park.

This park was made for everyone, and that's why it is so special. There's a place for sitting along the water, a place for laying in the grass to read a book, a playground for kids to play, trees for shade, beautiful little gardens, picnic tables, benches, overlooks, and my favorite of all... a spectacular, well maintained path with a seperate marked lane for bicyclists (both ways), and walkers. There is enough signage and markings in the path to keep the majority of the population in the right place. This allows everybody to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view in their own way. Niawanda is such a special park. Absolutely worth a visit!

I saw a cool bird here. That is all. Seriously though, it's a nice big park with fantastic biking paths. Just make sure to bring a bell as people really enjoy walking in the bike lane.

Very nice, quiet area to walk, run, or bike. Plenty of parking with just a quick walk to get to the water. Bring your own chair to sit and relax or use the provided picnic tables and chairs to have lunch or to sit and watch boats on the water. The park is dog friendly and there is a small playground for kids .

Peaceful relaxing. Benches and picnic tables available. Two restaurants across the street. Very busy place even during the week at all hours. Parking is limited.

Such an amazing park to enjoy evenings. The view of the river from the park is so beautiful. There is lots of parking and the bike track is beautifully done. Wasn’t very crowded in the evening that I visited.

Beautiful little spot to pull over at and look around. Jogging/bicycle track. Benches around to sit and enjoy. Pretty flowers growing by the rocks. Across the street from Mississippi Mudds who have great food!

👍👍 As a Veteran it always makes me proud and happy to visit Memorial Parks. The park isn't huge, but it's very well maintained and right across from the river; very beautiful. I'll probably be reserving Pavilions here in the future whenever I decide to hold any events.

👍👍 A very peaceful place along the Niagara river. For those traveling towards Niagara Falls, it is in the last exit before the first bridge. It is not in Grand Island --Google map is confused because of cell towers. This was a photo from Spring: from the Tribute Garden.
