I was in Toronto for a business trip and decided to give this gym a try. I had heard good things and was excited to get a good work out in after a long day. I went in and was told that they could issue me a guest pass in just a minute as they were helping another member. I sat there for 20 minutes before a staff member finally acknowledged me and very abruptly told me she had other appointments to attend to and she did not know how long it would be, she walked away before I even had a chance to respond. This gym is highly unprofessional and clearly doesn't care about new members. Will not go back or refer anyone.

Worst gym in Toronto to go to especially for the price ridiculous good life or fit for less is always going to be better had the worst experience at this gym the manager of the gym his name is Matt he is a complete douche bag who has no respect for people nor does he know how to talk to people. If I were you I would stay clear of this place not worth a penny.

I've been a member for two years. It has really great classes and there is rarely a time when I cannot find a machine I want to use. The showers are plentiful and the changers omniscient large. The only downside is that there are no windows as it is locked deep underneath First Canadian Place.

Been a member here for two summers and I love the Adelaide Club! It is right across my office and its a great place to workout. Jimmy at the front desk always welcomes you in the morning with a big smile, the cleaning ladies in the change room are super nice, and the personal trainers are great! I had a complimentary session with Tyler and he was very helpful. There are tonnes of squat racks and the strength room is very modern with a lot of equipment. My favourite class is boxing and I highly recommend it.

Came here on a free guest pass as a part of a local hotel’s reciprocal program. Gym is modern and well maintained, but is mediocre in many areas. Weight room is VERY small for the number of clients that workout here. If there are ten people in the weight room, it gets “crowded.” The locker room is terribly laid out. There are hundred of lockers, but only about 20-30 for “day use.” They are so small that an average sized backpack barely fits. Coats have to be on hangers outside of lockers - which could easily be stolen. Classes are mediocre and taught by apathetic instructors. I’m sure the personal training is better - there seem to be consistent training sessions happening. For a club vibe, this place will serve your needs (with a full snack bar inside). For a real, solid workout experience, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

The gym itself is rather tight but the club has layed out the equipment well. Despite being underground with no natural lighting, it is very well lite and energizes you to work out. The classes are great, the personal trainers are very good, the support staff are quick to learn your habits and the spa is very convenient and offer ongoing support outside of your treatment. The club has a little bar and social area that is nice and welcoming. There are specialty rooms such as pilates, spinning and strength labs that focus on a wide variety of activities.

I was a member of Adelaide Club for about 6 weeks before the pandemic hit and they were forced to shut down. During that time, I loved the experience - the facilities were clean and high quality, and I think it has the best selection of classes in Toronto. Unfortunately when gyms were allowed to reopen in August, because much of its membership did not return to work in the area, the club decided not to reopen and will not do so until 2021. I loved my experience for those few weeks, but it was an unfortunate decision for members who live nearby, and I was forced to make alternative fitness arrangements. Because of this, I sadly won't be back, but I do miss it and when the pandemic subsides and it eventually reopens, I do highly recommend this facility to others.

The instructors are what make this place! These are some of the smartest workouts I've experienced as they optimize for high output without putting you at risk of hurting yourself. There's no fluff in these classes, they are 45 minutes that start into a hard workout immediately and finish that way. Great for people trying to get a workout in during lunch or postwork

Amazing facilities. Separate men's and women's workout area fully equipped. Also coed weights room and smaller gym. Good selection of classes but unfortunately most run through the work day because many clients work in the building. Great lounge area with bar and snacks. Host some great social events for clientele

Lockers are never available at busy hours. There's no swimming pool in the location, you have to use the pool from a hotel located a couple of blocks away.

Been training here for about a year. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Facilities are great and clean. Great place to work out and convenient location. They have a great welcoming package and it gives you a great introduction into the club. Also bar on site 😀

The staff is great. The place looks amazing. The only problem is that it is hard to find the first time you arr there. It is hidden from the main hallway if you are walking east on the main hallway. And the bathroom inside the man locker is also hard to find when it is your first time there. But beside that it is real amazing.

I was trying out various gyms/fitness places (ie Sweat and Tonic, Barry’s, GoodLife etc) a year ago and joined Adelaide club as it is far superior to any other. - The place looks very modern and bright with amazing spa like locker rooms (jacuzzi, steam room and dry sauna!) -everyone who works there treats you like royalty and you can be late for classes and nobody will judge you for that. -classes are amazing and small size too so you get some corrections from instructors (who also try to call you by name). -you can even work from there if you want to as there is a very nice looking work lounge next to a cafe and they have private rooms too (I never had to use them).

definitely a good gym downtown. It is small but has what one needs. Lots of classes, and the personal trainers seemed to care. I heard them ask questions that showed true interest in helping clients. The aerobic area are separate for mens and ladies with plenty of machines. I have been here before and after work and during lunch, and it is never crowded although the strength training machine room can get more full. There is some wasted space with both a large lounge area and a cafe area. Three racquetball courts and a spa. Plenty of toiletries including after shave cream and sunscreen. In the mens locker room, they are converting one of the shower areas from open to private stalls. Unsure about the other one. Has whirlpool, sauna, and steamroom. Glad to see the guys didn't play the towel dance. I agree with other Yelp reviewers that the locker room setup with at least a 4:1 ratio of rental to day lockers is stupid - I think many of the rental lockers are unused, and it makes everyone congregate around the day lockers. Front desk staff very helpful.

The gym is conveniently located in the PATH, accessible via stairs or elevator. I went in the mornings before work and was able to get a great workout in, and then get ready for my work day. There is equipment for virtually everything you would want to do. The trainers are all very friendly and experienced at their craft. The men's locker room is spacious with a clothing steamer, full-length racks for hanging suits, day lockers, TV's and plenty of amenities (hair gel, Dyson hair driers, shavers, shaving cream, moisturizers). There is steam room, hot tub and dry sauna inside the men's change room. There are two shower areas: private with individual doors, or for those who aren't shy, a communal style area with about 10 shower heads. The clientele of the gym is more upscale, mostly with financial district professionals (bankers/lawyers) in their 30s-50s. The reciprocal gym benefit is also great - allowing you to visit other prestige gyms across the country and internationally.

Amazing Club. 4 group fitness studios and more classes than you can imagine. Some great instructors and the staff is so nice. Excellent equipment in 4 gyms.

Some gyms have modern designs with frills, high tech equipment you've never seen before, intimidating people, and expensive rates.... this is the opposite of that gym. Staff and other patrons are friendly and the price is ok.

exceptional people make this place, next is good value. I have been all over the city and have never found anything that match. Recent updates are done and have really refreshed & improved the experience. Personal trainers are great, including Mohamed Makkaway (Google him young ones)

Despite being underground, it's a pretty awesome club. The classes are amazing for pushing yourself beyond your limits. The music is great and I highly recommend the greek salad and Go Green smoothie from The Hub. Oh ya and free wifi with a great workspace lounge.

Was notified that the Adelaide club had been cyber hacked with”Club Update” took over 2 weeks before finding out all my information may have been compromised. Had to change all my personal and corporate information. No clue if they accessed their app as well… Hackers claimed to have accessed clients personal/ medical and banking information and it would be sold on the dark web as a result the club refused to pay, no notification our information was being extorted; the club sent an email that they would pay for Transunion cyber watch, with one email that it’s about to expire in November so you have to produce details and ask them because they did not provide its members with the steps or Email to sign up for this service UPSET that this company did not notify its members via phone call real mail not simply club update email… I requested that my membership end and was charged for canceling when this company did not notify me in a timely matter about the cyber extortion, or its members adequately about a cyber hacker incident.
