I
hate
to
leave
a
bad
review
but
unfortunately
this
was
not
a
good
experience!
I’ll
start
off
with
the
fact
the
service
was
lovely,
our
server
Victoria
was
super
kind,
attentive
and
a
pleasure
to
chat
with.
It’s
a
fun
atmosphere,
very
busy,
a
good
vibe.
However
I
feel
this
is
just
a
place
to
enjoy
a
few
drinks
and
maybe
an
appetizer
or
two.
The
food
is
sad.
I’ve
been
to
the
downtown
location
numerous
times,
and
while
the
food
there
wasn’t
great
either,
it
seems
this
newer
menu
has
really
taken
a
downward
turn.
Polenta
bites:
no
taste,
super
bland,
in
need
of
much
more
cheese,
salt
and
flavour.
While
beautifully
presented,
in
80s
jenga
fashion,
had
zero
taste.
Giant
meatball:
was
pink
and
very
soft
all
the
way
through,
it
felt
inedible
it
fell
apart,
and
tasted
and
smelled
like
cat
food.
We
sadly
sent
it
back.
Avocado
bruschetta:
this
was
the
best
dish
of
the
evening.
It
was
beautifully
presented
on
a
long
board,
it
was
flavourful,
the
avocado
and
goats
cheese
was
a
nice
creamy
touch.
The
tomatoes
are
thinly
sliced,
but
a
little
too
wet
and
made
the
bread
kind
of
soggy.
Caprese
salad:
was
a
joke.
The
deconstructed
approach
to
this
salad
made
it
impossible
to
eat
enjoyably.
The
tapenade
wasn’t
dressed
on
the
greens
it
came
in
clumps,
the
puck
of
mozzarella
was
hard
and
flavourless,
the
salad
was
flat
and
overdressed
in
a
dressing
that
was
so
acidic
it
peeled
off
the
roof
of
my
mouth,
which
is
strange
because
it
also
had
no
flavour.
The
tomatoes
and
croutons
are
arranged
on
the
boarder
of
the
plate
like
decorations
and
it
just
makes
no
sense,
the
dry
tomatoes
and
croutons
are
cumbersome
to
eat.
The
burger
and
garlic
fries:
the
burger
was
okay,
the
fries
were
so
salty
they
hurt.
The
burger
bun
is
good
but
not
quite
for
a
burger,
maybe
a
different
kind
of
sandwich.
The
pineapple
mint
drink
is
just
a
pineapple
soda
with
a
mint
sprig
on
top,
I
muddled
the
mint
into
the
drink
myself
with
a
fork.
Overall
disappointed
for
over
$100!
