The Chicken & Shrimp main (pasta) is amazing. One of my favourite dishes when eating out, the portion size is more than expected (I usually end up having left overs since it’s so much!). The chicken is high quality and shrimp as well. Although, the shrimp can be slightly fishy it’s tolerable and still tastey. Also, the employees are very friendly and kind. The ambience is also very nice. Love going here 10/10.

We came as a group of 6 and sat outside. We made sure to reserve a table otherwise there was a 20-30 min wait for 7pm. We had a great view of sunset and the weather was also great. The only negative of sitting outside would be the traffic on the street and the cars reving by. The food was really good. Had great flavour and the quality was amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here for a special occasion.

Our server was amazing. She was informative/upbeat. Our food however was meh. The carbonara was greasy, the mushroom gnocchi was mushy & there were green peas in it which wasn't listed on the menu? Which were undercooked. The spaghetti was lacking seasoning and tomatoe sauce which was disappointing. They gave us a complimentary cake for a birthday which was a kind gesture but extremely dry. Overall the service was 11/10 but everything else was far from perfect.

The servers and the ambiance are wonderful and everyone is super welcoming but the food (specifically my dish) was a 1/10 for me! The pasta tasted like tomato and nothing else and the chicken parmigiana tasted like chicken. There was absolutely zero flavour even after adding cheese, pepper, salt and Chili flakes. I ended up taking my leftovers home and added fresh garlic and olive oil to a pan and the food tasted way better. My friends pasta dish was really nice so I don’t think everything lacks flavour, I was just unlucky with my selection! However the portion was great :)

Food was amazing and tasty as always. Covid-19 restrictions in place and felt so safe to order and have food too.

I hate to leave a bad review but unfortunately this was not a good experience! I’ll start off with the fact the service was lovely, our server Victoria was super kind, attentive and a pleasure to chat with. It’s a fun atmosphere, very busy, a good vibe. However I feel this is just a place to enjoy a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. The food is sad. I’ve been to the downtown location numerous times, and while the food there wasn’t great either, it seems this newer menu has really taken a downward turn. Polenta bites: no taste, super bland, in need of much more cheese, salt and flavour. While beautifully presented, in 80s jenga fashion, had zero taste. Giant meatball: was pink and very soft all the way through, it felt inedible it fell apart, and tasted and smelled like cat food. We sadly sent it back. Avocado bruschetta: this was the best dish of the evening. It was beautifully presented on a long board, it was flavourful, the avocado and goats cheese was a nice creamy touch. The tomatoes are thinly sliced, but a little too wet and made the bread kind of soggy. Caprese salad: was a joke. The deconstructed approach to this salad made it impossible to eat enjoyably. The tapenade wasn’t dressed on the greens it came in clumps, the puck of mozzarella was hard and flavourless, the salad was flat and overdressed in a dressing that was so acidic it peeled off the roof of my mouth, which is strange because it also had no flavour. The tomatoes and croutons are arranged on the boarder of the plate like decorations and it just makes no sense, the dry tomatoes and croutons are cumbersome to eat. The burger and garlic fries: the burger was okay, the fries were so salty they hurt. The burger bun is good but not quite for a burger, maybe a different kind of sandwich. The pineapple mint drink is just a pineapple soda with a mint sprig on top, I muddled the mint into the drink myself with a fork. Overall disappointed for over $100!

Fresh mozzarella was very good. Spaghetti sauce was a bit too rich and heavy. Peanut butter espresso martini was pretty unique. Pistachio gelato was a little too sweet. Our server Carlen was very nice.

i reserved a day before and i think it made the process a lot easier, but overall it was a nice experience. we got the artichoke dip as a starter and each ordered different meals after. i got the spaghetti meatball; which was literally spaghetti and a singular massive meatball on top. the spaghetti itself wasn’t super tasty or flavourful, but lord have mercy that meatball was spectacular. the atmosphere is nice too, service was great as well. would come back again.

We reserved a table for dinner at Scaddabush on a Saturday night. The place was busy and packed and it took a few minutes to get seated. The restaurant has a sports bar kind of vibe to it and it was quite noisy so it was difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. Our server was good but it took longer than I wished for the food and desert to come out. Overall, the food we picked was ok but not great. We had the Butcher and the Straight up Meatball. I did enjoy the Pineapple Mint Soda though. This is a good place to try but solely based on my last experience, i wouldn't want to go again.

First impression when entering the restaurant was amazing. The host greeted us and helped accommodate my parents and I by setting us up in a great spot that’s big enough to fit my dad’s wheelchair. Dennis served us and was super friendly and helpful. He helped me decide on what I should order and his recommendation was great. He had a friendly personality and made the experience enjoyable! Enjoyed the meal and was super happy. Piraven was great in checking on us and making sure we found an exit that didn’t interfere with the other diners due to my dad’s wheelchair. Overall my family had a great experience and always looking forward to the next dining experience.

Saturday lunch and the place was getting more populated as we sat and ate. I’ve place for lunch and it’s near the mall which is excellent. The food was pretty good. The caesar salad had a tad too much dressing on it, but the dressing was good, with just a hint of anchovies-very tasty. The Mario pizza was pretty good and so was the chicken avocado sandwich. The fries were hot and perfectly salted. We sat in the bar area and the server was friendly and engaging. I’d go back when I’m in the area, so generally it was pretty good.

Excellent Food and Great Customer Service! Loved the ambiance with the rustic interior and the cute chandeliers. This was my first time dining at Scaddabush and it was a wonderful experience! (Previously only ever ordered takeout from another location.) We really appreciated the recommendations, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I only wish I could eat more! We ordered the Balsamic Truffle Mozzarella to start - delectable! Followed by the Spicy Funghi pizza (with added Roasted Fennel), Lemon Garlic Shrimp spaghetti and Fettuccini Bolognese. I don't eat meat but the pizza was amazing! And I understand the other two pasta dishes were also delicious. HIGHLY recommend the Toasted Pina Colada (and Black Cherry Bellini)! The toasted coconut strips is reminiscent of dark chocolate wafers ❤️ Thanks so much Scaddabush Scarborough!

I didn't know what I was ordering till my waiter Anthony put me on the right path. This man is a savant among servers and pin pointed exactly what I would enjoy eating as soon as I set foot on Scaddabush grounds. Anthony was simultaneously a breathe of fresh air and also reminiscent of an old friend welcoming you back. The night was saved by this man's brave choice to make brilliant recommendations for me and the girl that was way too hot to be going out with me. Solid night, we did not go on a second date.

The service was great, very friendly and welcoming. There is lots of parking. The restaurant was very clean. The washrooms were clean as well. The house wine went well with the meal. The pasta is handmade here, and you can taste the difference. The food was really good, and really fresh. I will be coming back here to try other dishes.

The first time I went to this place, I enjoyed the mushroom pizza that I ordered. It was a great first experience. The second time I was not too pleased. They some how made a slight mistake in one of our order by adding bacon when we said we did not want one. Apart from that the food was okay not too bad. Definitely will give them a try again.

Great experience dining here. They have gluten-free options as well. I got the shrimp pesto fettuccine, it was really good! Although there were only 6 pieces of shrimp, I would’ve liked a little more. Sauce was delicious though. We were outdoors, the decor was pleasant. Our server, Ken was kind.

Good service but the food could be better, the tiramisu has nothing to do with the original version since there's no mascarpone on it, I feel it was missing flavours. The food has a good presentation and some dishes are very good, others are decent enough. The mozzarella cheese could be better. The Alfredo pasta is very savoury and the pizzas are big.

Ambience was great. I don’t even have to start about the food. Everytime I go the food surprises me. Prashanth has been exceptionally patient, helpful with us and friendly too! Which makes me wanting to scadabush more. What more would a person working 9-5 would want?

Food was great. Service was great. Kiyya was very friendly, funny, helpful and overall great! We will definitely be returning. Only complaint was the restaurant was too dark. The row of overhead pot lights were flickering. Very annoying so hopefully it is fixed soon.

Buonissimo! This restaurant is a true gem for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. The pasta dishes here are an absolute delight, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of flavors. I couldn't resist indulging in their mouthwatering pizzas, which were freshly baked and topped with the finest ingredients. Every bite was a delightful symphony of flavors. The entire menu exudes an authentic Italian charm, making it a culinary paradise for all food lovers. I highly recommend trying their pasta, pizza, and any other dish on their menu; you won't be disappointed!

Attended with a large gathering and we had an amazing time. Service was great and the ambiance was beautiful, felt very cozy. Would have gotten a perfect score, but my 4 year old couldn't eat the ceaser salad despite the fact that it was very tasty, it was too spicy for him. I believe it was because of the garlic. His kids meal pepperoni pizza was too spicy as well he couldn't eat it. We had to pull the pepperoni off.

Tried on my best friend’s suggestion as she was moving to a new place. It was crowded for a Thursday night. Loved their spinach ravioli pasta. It was fresh and delicious. Tried couple of different wine and it was amazing. Service was good too. The sunroom had a lovely decor with wooden furniture and Beautiful plants.

Great place and fantastic food. The quality, service and taste are amazing. The pizzas are the best, would highly recommend it. We tried 3 different kinds of pizza, fries and few starters. All of the food was great in taste. But the "Squash and Kale" pizza was out of this world. Yum. Makes my mouth water thinking about it.

Wish I took more pictures of the food! I'll be honest, the food definitely surprised me! Food was great. I love me a great spaghetti and meatball. The simple pasta dishes are always my favourite, we ordered the shareable and was definitely enough for the two of us especially after having a table full of apps. Great meal.

Such a delightful surprise. Our first time at the restaurant and we had a bottle of wine and two pizzas tasty. It was the first time that I found a pizza with something 'green on top - which for me means 'fresh ingredients' and also real flavours. Services standards also need to be recognized. Judith guided us amazingly through this experience. We recommend.

First time being here and what a treat. We stopped in for lunch, not knowing anything about the place in all reality. Our server kindly took the time to go over many of the highlights of the menu. I normally ask the servers what seems to be the most popular or what they like the best if it is a restaurant I've never been to before. Considering they make fresh mozzarella, we shared an appetizer with prosciutto. Very delicious just wish they went lighter on the toast points and maybe added some nice olives to accompany. Then the next obvious thing to try was the meatball sandwich for lunch. They have meatballs in 3 different sections of the menu so there must be something special about them. Well it was a very, very good sandwich. It was so big I ended up eating it opened up rather than as a stack - it was just too big to keep together tearing away at it like a hungry lion.

I really enjoy the fresh mozzarella ! This was the truffle mozzarella but the sauces were too much on the sweet side imo. I’ve gotten it for takeout and it’s better because you can control the amount of sauce you use. Unfortunately the bread that came the cheese with was cold and quite hard. Pesto with shrimp was amazing. Shrimp was cooked well (not rubbery) but a little bit salty. Totally enough sauce to soak up the bread from the mozzarella! Pizza was a bit dry this time but in the past it’s really really good! Despite an average experience this time, I will be back because it is a fun and warm environment great for date nights, friends and family gatherings, and takeout!

The experience at Scaddabush is good. I signed up for their Inspired Rewards to get a discount as the pricing of their pasta is high for the amount of pasta you get. My kids enjoyed the motzarerlla cheese. The calari is overpriced as well. You don't get much value for that.

We ordered dinner for 5 (just over $100) and all rather simple meals. The order was to be ready for 5:45pm however we got there early to pick up. The order was delayed by 30 minutes until we had to go in and ask for it. Still took 10 minutes to actually get it. We got home and all of the food was cold and tasteless. Even the kid’s dessert looked awful. We have been regulars since this location opened but as of late the service and quality has mediocre at best.

  • 4/5 LEXY L. 11 months ago on Google
Environment: the restaurant has good decors and make the eating environment really good and relax. I like the style. Food: the fresh mozzarella cheese is a definite try! It’s great and tastes special. We ordered the honey flavor. The lemon shrimp spaghetti is also great! My friends had pizzas and they said too much oil and cheese made the pizza too rich in the flavor so they were done with half pizza. And the dough seems not mixed and baked well so some part of pizza tasted better baked than some other parts. Overall the food quality is pretty good if you like Italian food :) Service: the waitress in our area had bad services. Didn’t come to clean up the empty plates and even when the new food was delivered she didn’t show up to arrange the table - the chef who delivered the food was standing there as no where to put the fresh food (we could tell that he was unhappy either with his coworker). When we were ready to pay the bill it took a long time waiting for the waitress to bring the bill. Looks like she’s busy but honestly we felt it was not so busy at the time as it’s like 1:30-2pm not a lunch time.

Enjoyed a lot! The server was amazing with his suggestion! Never once got frustrated with our questions! We were 8 ppl went there for a birthday party and the whole staff came out to sing a birthday song! I was very much touched by this! And the food was amazing 😻 would love to visit again!

Wonderful experience, we were seated at tables that had marble and ceramic detailing that was just so charming. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff were on the ball the entire time. The food was fresh and delicious. The bathrooms were clean and stocked.

Love the atomosphere of this restaurant. Been here several times and the overall quality of the dishes here is great! My personal favorites are pasta dishes and the gnocchi. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the straight up meatball. I tried it as soon as it arrived and it was cold in the middle. & I am not a huge fan of the spoons of pre-grated/powdered cheese that comes with the pasta. Service seems to vary each time I've visited, but usually waiters aren't too attentive.

Enjoyed my first post covid "Luper" my Canadian way of describing the Spaniard tendency to start eating at noonish until super rollers around. Scaddabush service Italian cuisine, they understand the need to experience the food and not just eat and run. We were fortunate to not have to leave right away and enjoy the afternoon. It was lovely outside, Kent, our server was warm and friendly which just added to the positive experience of eating taste food. We decided to share three items, spinach Artichoke dip, puzza pizza and Truffle gnocch. Each entree was brought to us separately so we could take our time enjoying the flavors and not rush. Everything was fantastic. The pizza dough was light and air and the combination of ingredients was incredible the Gnocch was light and fluffy with great flavors. We were not in Europe but for a few hours we experienced our food as if we were there. The flavors and combinations of ingredients really made my taste buds super happy. I can only hope if you choose to go out to scaddabush that you enjoy it at the same level I did. Bon Appétit ..... Buon appetito.... Buen provecho.... Enjoy life with friends and great food...xx

We always order the mozzarella cheese! This time I had their gnocchi but it wasn't as good as last time (years ago). My husband's steak was juicy and tasty. Their service is always amazing and all appetizers are so delicious so I give it a 5 star rating! We will definitely go back soon.

We went along with our friends to dine-in at this location. The place was busy and had a waiting time of 30 minutes. We were checked-in by the person at the reception. We were told that we will be receiving a text as soon as the tables were ready. We were notified of the table in approximately 20 minutes. We ordered Charity Bread and Calamiri for starters. Along with that, we ordered Pesto Pollo Penne and Mushroom Truffle Fettuccine pasta. The food came super quick and was delicious. We also liked their portion sizes. We ordered cocktails too. Loved it!!We are happy with the service that was offered. Will love to be back!! Cheers

Delicious food, you really will notice that the cooks loves what they are doing, great presentation, great taste. Excellent service by Ken. Best server in Toronto. Amazing, best everything nice that you can say it's going to be him.

  • 5/5 Darianne T. 2 years ago on Google
I love the pasta! Definitely fresh and filling! The charity bread was so soft and cheesy. My ultimate favourite is simply the San Marzano spaghetti. It's a classic. I've tried other pasta and it's really good as well. The serving size is pretty good, had to take the rest home. It's a pretty pricey restaurant, so be prepared for $25+ per plate. Service was great. Even though we came in almost closing time, they were still very accommodating. :)

I have visited Scaddabush in the past, and have enjoyed their fresh pasta. So when I ordered the Basil Pesto Shrimp Fettuccini I was disappointed and surprised by the complete lack of care to my meal. The pasta was RAW. I could have gotten sick. I expect more from Scaddbush, esp when I am paying like $30. I have gone through Skip the Dishes for a refund, and will not be ordering again. I am willing to speak to management about my experience.
