3* for the DINNING experience ...but 4* for the enjoyable evening we had overall, because of Coig’s amazingly performed music. The food and the drinks are not cheap and keep in mind there is also a separate show fee, which is explicable after all, if you do consider that you’re spending an entire evening at their location. But the service...ugh, we would order a drink and the waiter would come back after 10mins just to recheck which drink we ordered and then there would be another 15-20mins even for a glass of wine. They were out of my favorite appetizer, as well as of two out of the three desserts offered!!! ...which is not explicable for a Saturday evening - when you DO expect a full house! The house bread and the cheese board cheered us up - so delicious BUT our 2 main dishes took more than 1h and 30’ to arrive (the waiter explained that the kitchen got a little overwhelmed). The side kale served with the cod was super gooey and not really chewable, but the rest of the dish tasted pretty amazing. So...lots of mixed feelings about their dinning experience, but definitely loved the atmosphere and the show.

First time here, saw Alfie Zappacosta, had a great time. The venue is fantastic and the service was very good. In order to get table seating though, you need to reserve for dinner and show up 2 hours before the show. The menu is extremely limited, and somewhat odd for this sort of venue, as well as somewhat pricey. The servings are small, so for the price, your best bet is to order from the sharing menu. I would come back.... For the music! Update - paid for a show which did not happen and when I inquired about being given a refund or tickets to a similar show at the ElMo, I was ignored. I know other people were accommodated though

The music at Hugh's Room was excellent as always but the dinner service was awful. Extremely slow service throughout dinner was really frustrating. Suggest you go for the show and skip the dishes!

It was good to experience the new Hugh's Room on Broadview. It's a comfortable venue with good acoustics and a promising future.

Not a fan of the new layout. I'm happy they figured out a way to reopen and I think it's sad the old landlord was difficult. The music is still fantastic. My problem is they throw you in like cattle with no personal space. No tables or food or service and only one bar at the back. They also have no area to dance . I just felt the vibe was lacking. I know the venue is a church but that's what I felt the vibe was. I feel like if their target is 60plus then this will work. The younger crowd won't like it though.

We saw an amazing Valdy concert here last night! This historic church makes an intimate concert venue. There are 20 plus concerts scheduled here for November, with artists for every taste. Your support will help ensure live music will continue, and artists will have a venue to perform.

This is an old photo of Hughes room. Their new home is in the East End, near the intersection of Broadview and Gerrard St. east . In a beautifully restored!! historic church . I went to a wonderful gospel concert there. The musicianship on the stage was extraordinary! A warm welcoming atmosphere for all. Every night there's totally diverse high quality music.

Wonderful venue and great acoustics on both levels and seating (yay). I love the new venue. We saw amazing intimate concert celebrating Stephen Fearing's birthday. Had dinner at restaurant nearby so that was easy.

A real gem of a venue, with fantastic artists giving everyone whom attends a genuine musical experience. Go for dinner and grab a table close to the stage and enjoy. Food is worth the price, while not 4 star Michelin, it is certainly a nice meal.

Just saw Valdy...his voice is still really strong...but we had to leave ..as he started to sing about dementia and he was rambling in his introductions..which left us wondering if he had dementia...Valdy you need step up your game if you want to perform in the 21st C.

One of my very favorite venues for live music. Casual but also classy. Up close and intimate setting for the shows. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. I got the vegan fettuccine and it was delightful. Their Cabernet Sauvignon was lovely too.

Fantastic venue to see live music. Food was excellent too. Enjoyed the smoked trout and kale salad. Great burgers too. Hope to see Christine Campbell and Blake Johnston there again.

Hughs is a beautiful boutique with such special merchandise. Their wonderful staff guides you to find exactly what you are looking for. Aside from Rebecca being so lovely, she also has a keen eye that comes through in the beauty of the products. 5 stars!
