LWe have been taking our dog Angel to Dogspaws for her grooming needs and have been very impressed with the work of David and his staff. Not only do they make sure that Angel looks her best, but they also take the time to give her plenty of love and attention. I got my dog groomed at the dogspaws the other day, super polite staff and a very clean environment. It was our first time getting our dog groomed and he turned out just as we wanted. Very professional and I highly recommend the place.

I work here :) Its a very welcoming environment, the owners are wonderful people, the groomers are amazing at what they do. I've never once seen someone unhappy with what their dog looked like after grooming. Highly recommend brining your dog here, they'd be in good hands.

I left a review a few months back because I was over charged for a specific groom that I was not told about upfront. Also because prices changed with no notice to existing clients and I was only told upon pick up. I was pressured into removing my review which is wrong. So I am reposting today. There are much better groomers out there that will do a better job.

Excellent first experience 🙂 first time dog owner here, who took their 3mo old doodle puppy for his first groom. He came in looking like a muddy cow 🐄, and came out looking like a fluffy teddy bear 🐻 💖 the staff were knowledgeable and took his safety into priority when recommending the type of groom appropriate for him. He seemed to enjoy the experience as well, since I saw him happily running around ✨

Our dogs are considered as our family member and we should be very picky with who touches our fur babies. My pup, Casper and I love this place so much. The business is ran by the owners themselves and you can expect stellar service from them. They do not disappoint. The owners are very professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. Looking for a new groomer, I stumbled upon The Dogspaws in the north east end of the Beach. They were able to book my pup in immediately--the next day!--and groomed my very scruffy Shih Tzu-mix to perfection. The staff are polite and kind, and the caring, gentle groomer excels at her profession. The spa is spotless, fresh and bright, with all sorts of pet needs: food, toys, grooming tools, etc. The Dogspaws is my new go-to. Thanks to the great staff.

I brought my Shiba here for a nail trim for the first time and I have never been so relieved. She is very anxious about getting her nails cut. I’ve tried cutting them myself and I’ve gone to many groomers in Toronto and I believe she came out more traumatized every time. The owners/groomers were so patient, professional and understanding. I highly recommend coming here. It’s clean and the service is great.

Brought my 15 month old Shih Tzu here a few times now and every time they’ve done a spectacular job! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is exceptional. Extremely clean and well maintained establishment as well. This is honestly the best place I’ve been to so far and is my new permanent groomers, won’t be going anywhere else from now on thank you DOGSPAWS! 🐶 💕

My puppy is just about 5 months old and we have had a particularly difficult time getting her nails done ourselves so we brought her here after they started getting a bit out of control. They got the job done, had treats, and were very professional. She's not an easy dog with some things, but they made it work in a comfortable way for Luna. Excellent work and service!

Happy to have this convenient shop in the neighborhood. It's our "go to" dog food place since they opened. Excellent products in the premium range, but with many affordable high-quality options. Our dogs love the prey/meat based dry training snacks, dry kibble choices, and frozen raw snacks. Very helpful, knowledgeable owner/manager and staff. Easy parking right out front if it's not rush hour in the afternoon. Bring your dog in!

Very happy with The Dogs Paws. They listen carefully to my requests and groom my dog as I ask. My dog, who is anxious, seems very comfortable there. Getting an appointment easily and nearby parking are bonuses. I’ve recommended The Dogs Paws to several friends who are dog owners and everyone is happy with their service.

The first time I took my puppy there they did an amazing job. I was excited to take her the second time for a full grooming but was disappointed. Nails not filed, areas of her fur was shaved to the skin and uneven in others areas, tail not trimmed. I did take her back to have the nails grind down but her overall fur looks unprofessional and dishevelled.

Amazing place for all your fur babies nutritional needs and much much more. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful. If you love your pets this is the place to go.

They do a great job! Our dog can be a bit nervous and he is always excited when we go in for a full grooming. Staff are friendly and attentive to our pup.

The service for the dog was good, the service from human to human not so much. Couldn’t have had a more blah experience with the front desk person. More interested in her nails than anything else on the day I went in.

Horrible experience. My mom took my golden doodle in to get a trim while I was on vacation last week and asked for a half inch off… they turned my golden doodles beautiful long tail into the shortest little rat tail. I’m in shock. Not sure what kind of facility they are running or who they have working for them, but it’s extremely disappointing to pay for a service that a) didn’t even listen to your request and b) has employed people without the proper training and clearly don’t understand how a certain breed should be cut. A doodle should never have its tail cut like this… on top of that my dog is embarrassed all the time now and feels naked. The people working here clearly haven’t received the proper training or they don’t understand measurements.. I’m not sure but either way it’s extremely disappointing and my dog will never be going there again. The owner David cut my dogs’ hair. Don’t waste your time or money. Go anywhere else…

Very disappointed from the last grooming appointment yesterday!!!Specific instructions my little toy puddle not be shave and to give him nice puddle cut. I got him back totally shave and on top of that over charge me and David didn’t even apologise!Stay away from this groomer!

I’m quite disappointed with the service I received as I was a new client. I requested for nail trimming and ear cleaning. When the groomer was done I asked her if there are ear mites she found while cleaning my dogs ears. I only asked this because my previous groomer near Midland & Finch did a complete groom for my fur baby and advised me of ear mites she found and removed while cleaning her ears. When I asked the lady she had no idea of the process nor what ear mites could be. She showed me the cotton pads she used for the left ear vs right ear. My thoughts led me to “Was the only thing she did was clean my dog’s ears with cotton pads? I could’ve done that at home.” On top of that, I come home and I notice my dog’s nail was bleeding because she cut it way too short. Broke my heart, I wonder how uncomfortable my dog would’ve felt. I’m incredibly unsatisfied with my service. I expected better considering the reviews. If you’re looking to get ear cleaning/nail trimming, this might not be the place to get the best service for that.

Very disappointed with the service. I brought my dog for a full grooming service this morning. By the time I got a call to pick up my dog, I was never notified by any of their staffs my dog was injured until i find out when I stepped out of the door, my dog is in fear. Never going back again!! They’re careless and try to hid from it.
