G. Ross Lord Reservoir

Tourist attraction β€’ Nature preserve

πŸ‘ It's a good spot to calm yourself down. Lots of open green space to walk around and a couple of bridges that I saw. The water is not so clean but still relaxing to look at.

Great for biking & hiking with the kids. Trail is relatively flat. Not crowded.

Great scenery during a clear skies sunset but the ground looks like a dump site. Almost thinking about heading out there one day with a bunch of garbage bags do some cleaning. Really nice spot though, relaxing... peaceful and very neglected by the city.

Enjoyed my time here! It's not too busy with people and it's fairly peaceful. I walked here from the main G. Ross Park area which had a ton of people. In warmer weather, be prepared to encounter a lot of cyclists. However, there's lots of space for both pedestrians and cyclists until you reach the sidewalk along Finch.

Hope the city will do more clean up. this is a very nice place but due to a lot of trash and wood debris, it look like dump site.

Good chill place to visit and relax. Not so crowded and a great park to take a walk or a run. The park is also a great place for cycling with a good distance of cycle trails

The reservoir looks really cool and there are a few trails around it to get you close to the water's edge.

Cool place in neighbourhood on hot summer day or hot and humid evening. Bike path is wide enough for young kids and pro on road bikes.

Not a lot of fish here, only the occasional carp. The reservoir is dried up a bit, but I still had a good time.

Nice place to be alone and reflect your life experience by sitting around the reservoir. Warning - no swimming allowed, no life guard, restricted access, and enter at one's risk.

During all seasons, it is a wonderful place for relaxation and peaceful reflection. And definitely, for photography!

This is one of the best and quietest parks in the city. Lots of paths for walking and cycling. Lots of bridges across streams. Lots of fast squirrels. There are plenty of places to relax and have a picnic. There are sports fields. If you want to go fishing, then you need to enter from the side of the dam.
