One of the best gastronomic experiences you can have, by a fair price, in the area. Highly recommend Sopa do Pescador (Fisher's Soup) as a starter - enough for 3 people and very reasonable price. For the main course, I'd go for sea food, like Polvo (Octopus) à Lagareiro. As a dessert, the recommendation goes to Morgado de Évora, a delicately sweet traditional cake from a southern region of the country. Overall, you pay around 15€/person for an admirably premium meal.

The seafood was absolutely delicious and incredible value with delicious house wine which is also excellent value. & the service from the family owners was very friendly. Wish we had time to go back again on our visit but sadly we ran out of time
