The Queen of Tarts in Toulon, the title says it all! Whether savory or sweet pies, you will have the chance to enjoy homemade dishes with fresh and natural gluten-free products. I also recommend the soup of the day with good vegetables from the market. You have understood that during a lunch break, you are the queen or the king! Delphine, the boss is a wonderful person, you will love her...

The pies are good but nothing exceptional. On the other hand, the manager is really unfriendly and yet we had come several times. While eating there, we asked for a glass of water. It felt like we were ripping his heart out! Last time, she flat out refused to serve us water even though it is an obligation for a restaurant to serve water for free during a meal! Rest assured, we won't be coming back! I saw that I am not the only one to make comments about his reception. As soon as we don't go her way, she quickly becomes cantankerous.

The pies are good, the decor nice and good ambient music. On the other hand, the owner is very heavy-handed, if I may say so, regarding these religious opinions.... I literally broke my feet...to put it mildly to remain polite. That day 3 traditionalist priests from the church which is opposite her shop entered and she put herself into missionary mode, a real evangelization on her part. It lasted 1 hour. When she understood that she wouldn't be able to change my mind, she finally left me alone. I'm never going back. It'S a shame because central Toulon lacks nice places like this.

I wanted to taste "gluten-free".... Well I will stay with it!!!! The only restaurant I know of that doesn't have a knife to put on its customers' tables! EDIT from summer 2010: And to respond to the remark that the boss took a year to think about: when we go to McDonald's, we KNOW that we are going to eat with our fingers. You are not a McDonald's, but a RESTAURANT, you put plates and forks. The least you can do when someone asks you for knives is to provide them, not to say "we don't have any knives here" As for your reactions to people's opinions, ... Well, that gives a good idea of your friendliness.

A problem with delivery but: Updated 04/27/2018: The store showed good faith by recognizing its error and Uber Eats will reimburse us for the undelivered menu. I am raising my rating and therefore put this down to an experience with delivery methods. Knowing that the reviews are good on the restaurant itself.

Excellent address in Toulon near the port and the Mayol stadium. Everything is gluten-free because the Queen of Pies knows celiac disease perfectly. The setting is very pleasant and warm and the tarts are a pure delight! A treat to be able to eat gluten-free and without fear.

Great restaurant. The team is very pleasant, attentive and their pies are delicious for a very affordable price. In addition, the decoration is very artistic. Absolutely worth discovering.
