I
do
not
normally
leave
bad
reviews
of
businesses
due
to
the
number
of
livelihoods
that
depend
on
them.
However,
I
feel
compelled
to
let
the
bar
manager
(possibly
owner)
know
how
rude
he
was
to
us
(couple
of
tourists)
simply
wanting
a
drink
on
a
Monday
afternoon.
There
were
plenty
of
empty
tables
for
diners
to
sit
and
eat,
so
we
took
a
seat
and
the
lovely
waitress
took
our
drinks
order.
The
bar
manager
(or
owner)
then
rudely
comes
over
and
tells
us
we
cannot
just
order
drinks,
we
need
to
order
food
too.
We
simply
wanted
a
quick
drink
on
a
rather
quiet
Monday
afternoon.
After
his
disappointment
that
we
had
already
ordered,
we
were
able
to
enjoy
our
nice
drinks
in
the
lovely
venue
(hence
why
this
isn’t
a
1-star
review).
After
finishing
our
drinks
we
asked
for
the
bill
which
took
some
time
so
we
went
to
the
bar
to
pay.
The
bar
manager
(or
owner)
refused
to
acknowledge
us,
choosing
to
serve
what
appeared
to
be
local
customers
behind
us
on
the
queue.
We
then
ask
to
pay
our
bill
once
again
and
he
starts
raising
his
voice
to
his
staff
and
slamming
coffee
saucers
down
evidencing
the
fact
he
wasn’t
happy
his
staff
served
us
only
drinks
on
a
quiet-ish
Monday
afternoon
based
my
partner’s
basic
understanding
of
the
French
language.
Nice
establishment,
nice
staff.
Arrogant
and
rude,
tourist-unfriendly
bar
manager
/
owner.
