There weren’t many places in the area so decided to come here as the reviews were good. And I must say there reviews were not good enough! Lovely, cosy place run by a British/French couple. Very local and the food was great. I think I might have had the best filet steak of my life!

When you have a kid, your life completely changes. You can try to keep your lifestyle but the reality is that you need to adapt. I travel a lot between Marseille and Barcelona. I used to drive by night and I definitely didn't stop to eat on the road. Now, with a 5-year old, I must stop at some point. But it's a good opportunity to discover new places and new restaurants. Nevertheless, depending on where you stop, it's not always easy to find a good place. We all know how "reliable" Google Maps can be... 🤷‍♂️ Last time that happened, a few weeks ago, we stopped at L'hacienda in Bessan. You don't know where it is? I'm not sure I do either 🤪. But the venue is nice 👍, looks like a nice old tavern, at least the entrance. Seeing Shrek come in wouldn't have surprised me 🤣 They have a daily set of 1 main and 1 dessert (no starter, no drink) for about €17. It's not too expensive, especially for France. But, sincerely, the quality and taste were really random... not bad, but not good either....

Absolutely amazing. Food drinks staff all very friendly. Will be visiting again soon.
