I arrived at Wendy, Simon, and of course Loki's place as part of my cycling trip from Royan to Sète. I could have stayed in Homps, but somehow I was drawn to this accommodation in a lovely, small, peaceful village. And I was right! Spending an evening there, receiving the warmest welcome—in the form of a glass of chilled wine and hearty conversation—enjoying a wonderful dinner and breakfast, and resting in a beautiful room with a comfy bed was a highlight of my trip. ​Very close to the cycling path—only 3 or 4 km—it is a real gem. I can only recommend staying with them, and if you have enough time (which I didn't), spend more than just one night there.

Love this place! Wendy and Simon are so welcoming and friendly as is Loki, the lovely Dalmatian. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in a beautiful part of southern France. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the meals Chef Simon created were so good, it makes me hungry just thinking about them again. We learnt a lot from Wendy about the village and the amazing countryside around; she really does have a lot of local knowledge which she is so willing to share which made our first visit to this part of France all the more interesting. Boxes ticked in no particular order: Genuinely welcoming hosts ✓ Comfortable beds ✓ Great food ✓ Lots to see and do ✓ Very clean ✓ Wealth of local knowledge ✓ Superb local wine ✓ Gorgeous dog ✓ Atmospheric courtyard ✓ Interesting walks ✓ Lovely weather ✓ Relaxing ✓ ...and now I have run out of space to include so many more boxes I wanted to tick.

Friendly welcoming and suberb stay for cycle tourists with excellent dinner on site Wonderful warm welcoming hosts in lovely spacious period building. Comfortable and quiet, well appointed bedroom. Hosts are extremely bike friendly- secure storage and helpful. Wendy is very hospitable and a wealth of local knowledge and Simon is an excellent chef who made our delicious dinner that we ate under the stars in the courtyard with the other guests. Loki the dog is charming. We got taken out to a local party as well!
