Demeure Saint Vincent, owned by Michele and Daniel is a charming period building which oozes character. The well kempt, clean lined exterior with naturally aged blue shutters does not hint at the atmospheric and cool interior with spacious tiled hall. The hosts are more than welcoming and besides the extremely well presented bedrooms, the included breakfast was delightful. Each day a different homemade item supplied by Michele with excellent preserves, fresh baguette, yoghurt and freshly picked apricots. The garden is peaceful and green and the two family dogs very calm and quiet. The only negative was the loud Friday and Saturday nights in Estagel centre which caused a little sleep disturbance. If you don't like a little characterful shabbiness then this also may not be your thing. Would stay again.
