Maison Gally is an elegant and fascinating place. Zeric kindly shares several rooms and the terrace communally - we watched the sunset from the top of the tower. Impeccably clean and good value with lovely breakfast. Centrally located in the lively medieval town with lots to see, a short walk from the Cite. We loved our large comfortable room and didn't want to leave!

Maison Gally was absolutely perfect for us. We were a group of six adults made up of couples and solo travellers, and the house worked brilliantly. The rooms, bathrooms and showers were spotless, comfortable and beautifully maintained, but what really makes this place special is its character. Everywhere you look there are books, artwork, ornaments, rugs and fascinating little details that make the house feel like a genuine home rather than simply somewhere to stay. Zerek is a wonderful host and a fascinating character. Having travelled extensively and worked as a diplomat, he has plenty of stories to tell and is equally happy to chat with guests or leave you to enjoy the house at your own pace. Fresh coffee and pastries in the morning were a lovely touch. The property is hugely undersold on its website and offers a far more unique experience than the photographs suggest. Perfect stay in Carcassone! If you want a local feel and local vibe and easy access to the Cite, markets and square with all the amenities of a high end inn, this is your place! Zeric is a wonderful host and treats all visitors like old friends. Lively breakfast on the terrace was the perfect start to a day exploring the city. The historic elements of the building are a sight to see in themselves.
