The most incredible retreat venue I’ve ever been lucky to stay in for 8 days. It’s immaculately renovated with style and care. Every room is gorgeous and the ultimate French luxury. Set in the quiet countryside, in between little towns every way you turn is a postcard worthy pic. Allison is the most wonderful host, always available and constantly curating an experience to remember forever. And then the food… every meal was a sensory delight, delicious local feasts from the markets around. She brings joy and love to every bite.

Instantly, you are thrown into the beautiful and quirky world of Domaine Majou. Every bedroom is immaculate & complete with a desk for some quiet writing or working time. The views are so picturesque and there are many different paths to go on a sunrise or sunset walk. There are so many pretty spots to eat outside, including by the pool that overlooks the house and neighboring vineyards. From olive trees to a dance studio, there is always something new to explore! Including a sauna. There’s a story in every tile chosen to the decor in every room. Alison is a wonderful and welcoming host, not to mention an incredible chef. Every meal was made with love and included fresh ingredients from local markets. She is very accommodating and friendly. I was here on a writer’s retreat hosted by Sarah Bullen, and the only thing I regret was that my stay wasn’t longer. I highly recommend this place for a special gathering or retreat. I’ll treasure my time here forever.

My experience at Allison’s beautiful Majou was exceptional in every way. I attended a writer’s retreat hosted by Sarah Bullen and Majou was a spectacular place to be inspired in creativity and beauty. The home itself was both cozy and expansive and Allison went above and beyond to welcome us and provide for our every need. Especially wonderful were the delicious and beautiful and lovingly prepared meals by Allison. I cannot more highly recommend this haven for retreats, weddings, reunions or any special gathering. So grateful!!
