Today I bought a sandwich made up of half a baguette and two thin slices of country ham (no butter, olive oil, pickles or other condiments, just 2 slices). If I do a little basic calculation. Let's say 1/2 baguette (public price 50c) + 2 very thin slices of country ham (30g at a price of 15 euros per kg, professional price). Which gives us 50c + 45c, or a total of 95c for a sandwich sold for 7.90 (let's round up to 8 euros). We therefore have a margin which is around X 9. The restoration margin is generally X3, of course there are exceptions. I'm not saying that you shouldn't earn money, but I wonder about the origin of inflation which is often attributed to mass distribution, war or other calamities. But isn't it sometimes due to simple venality?

I was surprised by the large display of raw ham sandwiches, so I immediately entered the store and purchased one. The whole sandwich was packed with delicious prosciutto and was very good.
