If you love space, you will enjoy here. But be careful: - there are a loooot of kids everywhere, they scream, cut the waiting lines, run, disturbing your contemplation of the space immensity - the technical level is quite low, but it's fun to play some science games, everything is very interactive - unlike the museum, the garden is not even fun: in general it's a big playground for kids, and in particular the mir station has so many scretches on glasses that its almost impossible to watch inside, and the three accessible rooms terribly smell of fake

Way overpriced museum. Some venues are nice and informative. There is a true effort to make the museum accessible for children. However, there are a few major issues apart from the crazy entrance price: * There is no logic. You spend ages finding out where you are, what the sequence is of the various exhibitions and where to go next. It's a mix of all kinds of exhibitions and demos without a clear logic. * It presents as a major attraction in the region but during busy days, it cannot handle the crowd. Lots of waiting. * Very poor services. Toilets and some sites are very dirty and not well maintained. In all, it feels like a very overpriced museum with a total lack of consistency and logic. It's just a mess basically which is a shame as you can see a lot of efforts had been put into the various exhibitions and demos. Some of them are well done

Science can not get more international than space travel. Naturally, you’d think that everything at this site would be available at least in 2 languages. Unfortunately, that’s not the case since quite a few places can only be visited during live shows that are French only. Also, multiple exhibitions are closed at the moment (Pollux & Castor, the MIR Capsule, Build your own rocket), the entry fee did not decrease nonetheless. Still, you can learn a lot and marvel at the features of human engineering, the IMAX is also really nice.

The exposition Maybe for kids it is interesting, but overall its not worth that amount of money. Why in the museum the groups of kids are the priority. We ve stranded in the line to planetarium for 25 minutes to take the seats, but first they skipped ahead 4 groups of kids. And it was really loud inside, impossible to enjoy, and there was no translation.

very cute, for adults and especially for children, it combines fun, curiosity and lots of interesting information all in one. the lunar landing in the planetarium is very funny. It is recommended to spend a whole day there so as not to miss any of the shows and games.

It's your getaway to space, the place isn't as big as I expected it to be but there are plenty of attractions for grown-ups and kids alike. I enjoyed the IMAX show, the planetarium was a bit boring, it was too slow for my liking. Reducing a star because of the exorbitantly high entry fee. If you understand French, there are activities for an entire day but otherwise there are some shows available in French and Spanish which can be finished in half a day.

This place is a celebration of space travel and exploration, and it is a museum that offers an entertaining as well as educational approach to the topic of space. It is fun for kids and adults alike, there is something for everyone here, and the IMAX and planetarium showings in particular are really cool. There are both indoor as well as outdoor sections with lots of stuff to explore, so be sure to pay attention to the weather forecast before you go so you can bring appropriate clothing. You can easily spend a full day here, so bring snacks and water for your breaks. There are 3 restaurants and also food trucks here, but the queues are long!

We loved visiting the Cité de L’Espace with our family while we were staying near Toulouse. Educational, fun, interesting, beautiful and engaging. Where else can you climb inside an actual spaceship!? We also loved the model moon village, and the planetarium show, our 4yo son loved the replica Mir space station and the stellarium show - and the space themed playground! Highly recommend 👌🏼

This place is very interesting! I would recommend to go in the morning as we reached there late and we lost lots of shows, overall a nice experience especially the lunar expedition which was an unexpected surprise. I would definitely recommend it.

A truly amazing space museum 😜 suitable for all ages. Inside you will find the history of the moon landing, Mars exploration and much more, with lots of interactive games so you can also understand the physics behind it. In addition, there is a section dedicated to atmospheric measurements. Outside the large park, as well as restaurants and bars, there are the various launchers, with faithful reproductions that can also be visited inside. At the end of the park is a reproduction of the Ariane. Last but not least, the cinema: I highly recommend the 2 shows (one where a stellarium is reproduced with an explanation of our solar system, and another show in 3D of a simulation of an asteroid hitting the earth). Arm yourself with patience for parking: it is free, but it takes a while to find parking on holidays.

Not bad, but went in March and a few things were not open. Got to IMAX at 3.45pm and was told it was closed. Large rocket, closed, some other items in the main building closed. Interesting for smaller kids. Space station replica interesting, but full price tickets not good for when a few important areas were closed off.

Definitely pay a visit if you have a spare day in Toulouse. I would really recommend to dedicate the whole day for this museum, especially when with kids. It's a very interactive and at the same time enlightning museum. Lots of true to size installations, presentations and interactive materials. The only thing to bare in mind, most of the content is in French (which makes total sense). Maybe it could be useful to add some tourists-friendly content, e.g. audio guides or some alternative translation options, especially for the live presentations performed by the employees. Or maybe have a separate session in English once a day or so.

Planetarium was nice, not the whole program in English unfortunately. The space is great and quite interactive but quite small for the entrance fee of 23 Euros per person.

We visited the museum because of the air conditioning. In summer it is not only hot but also very crowded. Children get their money's worth. Countless events and breathtaking objects to visit. A great experience.

Excellent museum with everything explained in French, English and Spanish. A wide variety of exhibitions and a great iMax cinema. We had lunch in the restaurant which was excellent value (if a little slow and suffering from its popularity). I would heartily recommend it for 4 or 5 hours of entertainment and education!

Great place to discover space exploration. The IMAX and planetarium are one of the highlights of the visit. The themes covered are varied, such as Mars exploration, the evolution of space travel and deep space exploration. There are also temporary exhibitions available. Don’t miss out the full scale replicas of the Ariane 5 rocket, the Mir space station and the famous Eagle lunar module located outdoors. The scientific level is really well balanced and interesting for all ages. You will need a good full day if you want to view all the levels and exhibitions. I highly recommend it if you are interested in astronomy, space exploration and related topics.

One of the most interesting places in France and in Europe dealing with Aerospace and Astronomy. Everything is translated into English and Spanish. 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇪🇸 A lot of animations, detailed scientific and technical topics accessible to everyone. The special exhibition for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing makes this place even more amazing, with full scale LEM from Apollo 11!

Mainly for families with kids and younger visitors, many interactive parts, great IMAX movies as well as the cartoon for the kids. You can and most likely will spend a whole day there. Decent food and nice garden

We visited here on Saturday and were really impressed! So, so much to see, and really interesting! The weather when we visited made our visit even more perfect whilst viewing the outside areas. We loved that you could go inside some of the exhibits, and also the interactive features inside the main building. We went to the on-site restaurant for lunch, which was beautiful and really well priced. Well worth a visit 😊

This place made our day!🤩 So worth the ticket purchased. We went right after the opening and somehow managed to complete everything.. We kept priority to the shows. Only downside is there is just too much information there, so try to take occasional breaks by going to shows or having short breaks. Its fun and educative.. especially for kids. Highly recommended 👌

Makes sense only for kids. The technical level of the expo is rather low. The space centers from NASA in the US have much more to offer.

What a great place to spend the day! Super informative with interactive displays (some cannot be used now because of Covid). Imax movie in 3d was amazing. Highly recommended to add this to your itinerary if visiting Toulouse or if you live here! Everyone will learn a lot here while having fun.

The park is nice. Wanted to eat with 2 hungry kids at 15:30 but the restaurant told me the kitchen is closed already and the food booth was out of food.

Great museum with loads of real space stuff and good interactive displays. My only criticism is that there are insufficient food and drink outlets. There were long queues from about 11:30am. It was school holiday but no excuse really. If we come again we'll bring a packed lunch.

Exceptional place for researchers, aviators, scientists, content creators, & others. "It's an interesting place to be. I recommend it." Neil Armstrong

Possibly just when I visited but there were a lot of closed off attractions, blocked off paths and slightly tired replicas. It's somewhere to go if you're nearby but not an attraction I'd plan a trip around. Trip took about 2 hours total

Great museum but you need a whole day to visit. Don't go just 2-3 before it closes

If you're in any way interested in space navigation, this place is definitively a must see in Toulouse! Interesting exhibitions and animated movies you can watch for example about asteroid defense.

  • 2/5 Huana L. 1 year ago on Google
It is just a place gor children Not even real space suits…. That I would expect to find in a museum. The exhibition has no guidance, you dont know where you are. -massive cues to eat at the restaurant as well as the only 2 food trucks (only burgers) make at least a pizza one!!!!! - the aeroscopia museum is cheaper and better! With real planes not replicas…

Amazing experience for space lovers. A lot to learn in various interactive displays and activities but also in the old school museum-way. The must-does are definitely the planetarium and the IMAX with some very interesting displays. A lot of the activities are in French only though. Overall you would need half a day if you truly want to see or do everything.
