Rude staff. Unbelievable. Left even before ordering. One person was on the phone, I.e. busy with herself and the waiter was obviously very bothered by the idea to have customers as well. How can a place like this even dream of customers being ok there

Condescending, patronizing, arrogant, and simply rude staff. My family and I were left literally shocked at how mistreated we were on the day we went there. Ignoring us throughout and replying smugly to our questions were just the beginning. When we ordered just one sweet dish (because they weren't serving regular menu items in the afternoon, which is completely understandable), even with no intention of sharing, the waiter simply STATED that he would only bring one set of cutlery - implying we wouldn't be allowed to share it, even if we wanted to. To top it all off, he and others openly mocked our attempt to signal him to get the check after waiting for more than 15 minutes for any staff to pass by. This was not due to any language barrier by the way, as we spoke French. The waiters simply had no interest in serving us, and I repeat, MADE FUN of us, by waving back at us like children, before rolling their eyes and proceeding to ignore us and continue chit-chatting among themselves, once we were fed up of waiting for the check and politely signaled the staff. No joke, no exaggeration. And the worst thing is, we were there to distract ourselves after my father had passed away the very previous day, during our vacation. To say we were visibly sad would be an obvious understatement, and we were still treated the way we were. The only reason why we did not complain or made a scene was that we were simply not in the headspace for that after what had happened in the previous days. DO NOT visit this place. There is a reason this is ranked 1628 out of 1656 restaurants in Toulouse on TripAdvisor. Yes, ranked lower than 98% of ALL restaurants in the city, with a rating of 2.5/5. Go to literally any other place, that region is full of delicious restaurants with polite and respectful staff.

This restaurant was unbelievable. The waiters could not even coordinate properly on their tables. It looks like they never went to elementary school. We had to change 4 times tables and wait 15 minutes just to be given a menu, and 45 to be served. The food was okay, a bit tasteless just like the microwaved food you would get from picard. Overall, it was still much better compared to the attitude of the tattooed waiter. The drinks were pretty good but opening 2 beers in 20 minutes is not that hard. Anyway only one of the waiter was nice. If you have him you're lucky. If not you're screwed.

Nice and friendly environment, there was no waiting time, we were treated with respect even when we weren't able to speak French. The lemonades and desserts were delicious. The preside accessible.

Great place. If you are staying in that part of the city, don't spend the 20 euro on hotel breakfast and go there. The savory breakfast is bacon, an egg, salad, bread, juice and coffee. You can add an enormous chocolatine/pain au chocolate or croissant for a couple more euro. Well worth it.

Over the last few weeks in Toulouse I keep returning here for their fantastic food and excellent service. Some highlights have been the mussels and the rotisserie chicken. The meals are beautiful seasoned and their accompanying sides compliment the dish perfectly. Even for just a coffee on the terrace it's ideally located on the corner of the Jean Jaures and the blvd Lazare Carnot. Highly recommended

They serve wine to my liking - vin blanc chambre d'amour - more towards sweeter side, and finally- best coffee/ cappuccino i’ve had today in town. Nice staff and pleasant atmosphere, possible to charge phone at the table ☺️☺️☺️

They are extremely rude and unhelpful, they simply cannot be bothered to take your order and they did not have half of what it says on the menu.

Looking for a really great breakfast at a reasonable price try here ! Bacon, egg, bread , fresh orange juice and hot drink all for €6.50 or continental breakfast also. Good service a great place

Don't let the name fool you. No American cuisine here. Just delicious French food, good wine, and great service. We shared a bottle of merlot, the Avacado Shrimp salad, and a Cassoulet.

Rude waiters, not even a menu was provided, had to wait almost an hour to get what we ordered. Waiters make you feel like you're bothering when you ask them a question. Overall this place makes you feel not welcomed, to be avoided. There are several better options in the neighborhood (with better food also, which was average here).

Doesn’t even try to understand anything. Don’t have even 15% of the stuff that there is on the menu. And because we were young asked us for the covid certificate (we were outside and using mask, and showed the certificate with no problem) when no one (of the employees of costumers) were using mask. Not coming back

Should you expect professionnal and friendly servîce, go elsewhere. Take my advice, there are loads of other restaurants in Toulouse offering good food and service. Our experience here was highly disappointing.

It wasn't the first time I ate here but the last time I get there it was aweful. First we were sit outside without asking if we want to be inside. After asking if we could go inside, we get sitted and only one menu was given (we were 2). Not so long after, I saw a bettle running on the table next to us. And shortly after, I saw a RAT running in the middle of the restaurant. Aweful.

Good rate price/quality we had a lovely evening

We have been twice, great customer service the mussels look superb, will be trying them next time.

On a three day visit to Toulouse, we ate dinner here twice. So good. Moules in white wine with leeks and onions. Delicious. Trés trés bien.

We arrived tired and quite late in Toulouse. They made us feel welcome and rushed the drinks in. Helps if you have a bit of French. Right in the city's hospitality area.

Cleanliness is questionable. Food was ok, although I ordered rare and was served well-done. Staff was nice.

Nice staff,lovely poke bowl and mussel

We visited this restaurant today, and similar to most of the reviews already written about this place, the staff were incredibly rude, condescending, arrogant, mocking us and the rest. We waited over 20 minutes to be served when the place was basically empty bar 2-3 tables. We were treated with a bad attitude and were made to feel like us being there was an inconvenience to them. I tried to ask a question about the menu and I was then met with an eye roll from the waiter at which point I told them that we no longer wanted to eat there and asked for the bill, we were then met with even more bad attitude and mocking, all 3 of the people working there 1 being the owner or manager I presume were discussing the situation as if we didn’t understand... (“can you believe these English people..”). I am fluent French and lived in the country for over 10 years and brought my English friend here for something to eat and what a mistake this was, I have never left a 1 star review before but this place truly merits it. I urge anyone in Toulouse not to visit this place under any circumstances!
