My
first
visit
to
Poney
Club
(just
beside
the
Hippodrome)
last
week
on
a
weekday
evening.
Sanitary
Pass
and
ID
checks,
we
were
greeted
very
warmly
and
asked
to
wait
before
being
seated.
The
manager
or
supervisor
explained
the
concept
to
us,
4
stalls
for
drinks,
one
for
beers,
cocktails,
wine,
and
premium
wines
including
champagnes.
5
food
trucks
-
Tommy's
Diner
(burgers
etc),
1
Italian,
1
crêperie,
1
grilled
meats
served
with
fries
and
salads
(magret,
beef,
chicken,
pork)
and
1
with
assorted
charcuteries
and
fromages
plateaux
and
grilled
sirloin
steaks.
Self-service,
get
your
drinks
and
food
and
pay
on
the
spot.
Those
who
ordered
for
a
group
for
eg.
grilled
meat
cut
in
finger
bites
were
served.
Free
seating,
there
are
tables
and
chairs,
deck
chairs,
large
cushions
on
the
lawns,
benches
with
long
tables
for
groups,
a
dance
floor,
DJ
stand
with
2
huge
screens....cool
environment.
We
chose
the
deck
chairs
with
wooden
palettes
as
table
and
finally
we
ended
up
on
a
large
cushion
on
the
lawn.
We
got
our
chilled
beers,
my
partner
chose
a
burger,
he
was
disappointed
with
the
bread
which
was
dry
and
not
soft
as
expected.
The
fries
that
came
with
the
burger
was
good.
I
chose
the
grilled
magret.
9.90€
with
fries
(not
fresh
home
made
fries)
I
wouldn't
complain
for
the
price.
The
meat
was
OK,
the
mustard
and
honey
sauce
over
the
meat
made
it
tastier.
The
toilets
were
in
containers,
pretty
acceptable
hygiene-wise
,
could
be
better.
I
hope
they
will
maintain
them
as
the
night
goes
on...
We
left
at
9.45
pm
due
to
work
the
next
day
and
the
younger
crowd
was
dribbling
in.
Will
certainly
return.
I
think
it's
a
great
place
to
chill
with
mates
as
the
music
is
not
unbearably
loud.
And
easy
to
go
dutch!
