Obstetric
violence,
I
never
thought
I
would
experience
that!
I
gave
birth
in
July
2020
in
the
maternity
ward
of
Bretonneau
hospital
and
my
childbirth
ended
in
tears,
not
of
joy
but
of
"shock".
I
go
to
the
maternity
ward
after
2
hours
of
close
contractions
(it's
my
3rd
baby
so
I
know
how
to
do
it):
-
Very
long
welcome
to
wait
outside
without
an
armchair
or
bench
-
Then
a
secretary
registers
me
as
best
she
can
because
she
does
not
manage
her
software.
By
the
way
she
said
to
me
"it
doesn't
seem
very
painful
anyway"
-
1st
examination
by
a
midwife
man
who
tells
me
that
they
"only
did
3
epidurals
out
of
the
20
deliveries
last
night"
...
it
seemed
like
a
score
for
him!
-
I
go
for
a
walk
then
the
contractions
become
very
painful,
that's
when
another
midwife
man
tells
me
that
I
could
not
benefit
from
the
epidural
because
no
room
or
no
anesthesiologist,
well
nothing
very
clear
!
But
as
he
explains
"women
have
given
birth
like
that
since
the
night
of
time,
it
is
the
most
natural
way
to
give
birth"
...
yes
but
it
is
not
my
choice!
-I'm
installed
in
a
room
riquiqui
not
at
all
planned
to
give
birth,
and
I
am
left
here,
without
any
help
to
manage
the
pain
-
1h30
later
I
was
taken
to
a
birthing
room,
still
no
epidural
but
without
explanation!
-
I
cry
out
in
pain
but
the
midwives
are
having
several
deliveries
at
the
same
time,
and
the
baby
comes
out,
the
midwife
arrives
just
in
time,
she
did
not
have
time
to
put
on
her
second
glove!
-
I
am
shocked
by
this
journey
but
am
happy
to
have
my
baby
girl
on
me,
thinking
that
we
will
now
enjoy
-
queneni:
6
hours
of
waiting
without
anything
to
eat
in
this
room
where
it
was
freezing
cold
because
of
their
ventilation!
And
during
this
time,
other
mothers
are
waiting
for
a
room
to
give
birth!
I
am
told
that
I
was
lucky
to
have
a
delivery
room
at
the
last
minute!
In
short,
a
spoiled
childbirth,
a
stay
to
see
10,000
midwives,
nursery
help
and
pediatricians
but
with
such
a
lack
of
organization
that
I
said
to
myself,
for
once,
I
will
put
an
opinion
on
Google
because
I
would
have
liked
to
know
where
I
set
foot
before!
Conclusion:
go
to
the
Leonardo
da
Vinci
clinic
and
do
not
set
foot
in
this
hospital
anymore!

Violences
obstétriques,
je
n'aurais
jamais
cru
vivre
ça
!
J'ai
accouché
en
juillet
2020
Ă
la
maternité
de
l'hĂŽpital
Bretonneau
et
mon
accouchement
s'est
fini
par
des
larmes,
non
pas
de
joie
mais
de
"choc".
Je
me
rend
Ă
la
maternité
aprĂšs
2h
de
contractions
rapprochées
(c'est
mon
3eme
bébé
donc
je
sais
y
faire):
-
Accueil
trĂšs
long
Ă
attendre
dehors
sans
fauteuil
ou
banc
-
Puis
une
secrétaire
m'enregistre
tant
bien
que
mal
parce
qu'elle
ne
gĂšre
pas
son
logiciel.
Au
passage
elle
me
dit
"ça
n'a
pas
l'air
trĂšs
douloureux
quand
mĂȘme"
-
1er
examen
par
un
homme
sage
femme
qui
me
raconte
qu'ils
n'ont
"fait
que
3
péridurales
sur
les
20
accouchemens
cette
nuit"...
ça
avait
l'air
d'un
score
pour
lui!
-
je
pars
marcher
puis
les
contractions
deviennent
trĂšs
douloureuss,c'est
lĂ
qu'un
autre
homme
sage
femme
m'annonce
que
je
ne
pourrais
pas
bénéficier
de
la
péridurale
parce
que
pas
de
salle
ou
bien
pas
d'anesthesiste,
enfin
rien
de
trĂšs
clair
!
Mais
comme
il
l'explique"les
femmes
accouchent
comme
ça
depuis
la.nuit
des
temps,
c'est
la
maniĂšre
la
plus
naturelle
d'accoucher"...oui
mais
ce
n'est
pas
mon
choix!
-on
m'installe
dans
une
piĂšce
riquiqui
pas
du
tout
prévue
pour
accoucher,
et
on
me
laisse
ici,
sans
aucune
aide
pour
gérer
la
douleur
-
1h30
plus
tard
je
suis
emmenée
dans
une
salle
de
naissance,
toujours
pas
de
péridurale
mais
sans
explication
!
-
je
cri
de
douleur
mais
les
sage
femmes
sont
sur
plusieurs
accouchement
en
mĂȘme
temps,
et
le
bébé
sort,
la
sage
femme
arrive
juste
Ă
temps,
elle
n'a
pas
eu
le
temps
de
mettre
son
2eme
gant!
-
je
suis
choquée
par
ce
périple
mais
suis
heureuse
d'avoir
ma
petite
fille
sur
moi,
pensant
que
nous
allons
maintenant
profiter
-
queneni:
6h
d'attente
sans
rien
Ă
manger
dans
cette
salle
oĂč
il
faisait
un
froid
de
canard
a
cause
de
leur
ventilation
!
Et
pendant
ce
temps
lĂ ,
d'autres
mamans
attendent
une
salle
pour
accoucher!
On
me
dit
que
j'ai
eu
de
la
chance
d'avoir
une
salle
d'accouchement
Ă
la
derniĂšre
minute
!
Bref,
un
accouchement
gùché,
un
séjour
Ă
voir
10
000
sages
femmes,
aide
puéricultrices
et
pédiatres
mais
avec
un
tel
manque
d'organisation
que
je
me
suis
dit,
pour
une
fois,
je
vais
mettre
un
avis
sur
Google
car
j'aurais
voulu
savoir
oĂč
je
mettais
les
pieds
avant!
Conclusion
:
allez
Ă
la
clinique
LĂ©onard
de
Vinci
et
ne
mettez
plus
un
pied
dans
cet
hĂŽpital
!
