The guest house is a beautiful , lovingly cared for home built in the 1860s. The rooms are spacious with lovely furnishings and the bathrooms very modern. The location is perfect to explore Tours. Alexandra , the hostess , is what makes the experience so complete. She is a wealth of information about the area. She is so helpful with everything from a medical problem- we had one- to dinner reservations on a holiday when most places are closed. A great accommodation which is intimate, comfortable and a wonderful location.

Our experience was well above expectations! The accommodations were very comfortable and tastefully done in a wonderfully renovated Chateau that was located within walking distance for most of Tours including the Train Station. The owner, Alex, was fluent in several languages and was open to communicate in languages for which she was less familiar. Breakfast was always a treat with fresh breads, cheeses, juice and coffee. Eggs and breakfast meats were always offered. If and when we return to Tours, we would definitely choose this facility in which to stay again.

I’m just echoing other reviews, but this place is a gem. It’s our first time to Tours and we chose it based on the pictures and reviews. We’re very happy we did. We’re finishing our trip and the room is very nice and quiet and, for those like me who love a hot bath at the end of the day, it has a huge tub and plenty of hot water. If you like to get deli and eat in, as we often do, there’s a Miromax with a good deli nearby and you can use the eating area in the hotel. The Tourist Center, where tours originate, is a five-minute walk and the train station is an eight-minute walk, even with luggage. All in all this was an excellent choice and Alexandra is as nice and helpful as others have said. We’ll be back, and we’ll definitely stay here.

Wonderful stylish B&B, the hostess is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are very individual, super clean , beautiful bedding and all are charming with amazing style. Breakfast is fabulous, i really couldn't recommend this place highly enough, we loved it and may well be back .

Super friendly welcome, a wonderful host full of tips for local sights and restaurants (eg Le Turon, not in any of the guidebooks but probably the best meal of our 14 day holiday so far). Very well located in a beautiful house with a very comfortable and large en-suite bedroom. Stayed for two nights during our cycling tour of the Loire valley. Highly recommended.

Lovely space recommended by a friend. But that's where the beauty stops! Rude response to typical questions: do you have parking if not what can you suggest? Or a specific request for a room type. Or perhaps they just prefer working with consolidators: perfect hit for the Booking.coms. That way Maison Jules can just say "no" to everything!

Alexandra was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. We stayed one night, she made some recommendations and made arrangements for a dinner reservation for us. She also prepared a breakfast in the morning which quite good. Upon entering the front gate you're in a little oasis of a courtyard that puts you at ease. The home exudes a calmness to contrast the hustle and bustle outside. As other reviews have mentioned the home was smartly decorated. The room itself was large and comfortable. Well situated within walking distance of many restaurants, old city and the train station. If/when we come back to tours we hope to stay here again.

We chose this exceptional chambre. d'hote in Tours. It is very conveniently situated. The house is magnificent. The rooms are extremely well appointed. Lilliane and Robert looked after us perfectly and provided a very fine breakfast. Strongly recommended.

As others have said, this place is an absolute gem! Alexandra is a charming and helpful host, the rooms are beautiful, and the location is perfect. And, very reasonably priced, for what you get.
