Beautiful area close to Nottingham City Centre to go walking. Playground, cafe, and views over looking the River Trent. Plenty of brenches to sit and spend time admiring the views. Simple circular walk along the River Trent using the surpension bridge and crossing back over the Wilford Village Toll bridge.

It's a decent place to walk around, the War memorial is the best part.

The Riverside Festival is an amazing summer event done next to the Trent River. Recommended for families, for friends, couples or to stay by your own. There are a lot of things to do!

very nice and local place, only problem is that the paths can be bit unpleasant from a lot of bird poo

Very tranquil first thing in the morning, I came here to support my Granddaughter and Son-in-law, running the 10k Race for Life four weeks ago. It started from the recreation ground and followed a route along the embankment crossing the River Trent 4 times before finishing back on the recreation ground... It was a great event and must have raised hundreds of pounds ...

Nice park with a ton to do, small paddling pool for kids, and wonderful walk along the embankment.

Went in 5am and lovely and peaceful. Great space for gentle stroll and hustle and bustle from the nearby city centre.

Great place for a peaceful walk shame the war memorial is being left in a state All overgrown slates dirty and unkempt

As a dog owner I can not recommend this area enough. Plenty of space for all and with the local wildlife, the world war memorial garden and a fantastic park for the kids, there is enough to enjoy to fill half a day if not a full one.

👍👍 It was surprisingly ok, the kids loved it. I liked the open space and the ability to see the children enjoying themselves while I worked. The food was expensive for the poor quality but everything else was great. Take your own snacks (!) We bought our tickets in advance and there was no wait or q...
