It's been a long time since I was in such a nice place, thanks to the good treatment, good food and presentation. Good wines and excellent value for money. of course nowhere is perfect and this restaurant has a small annoyance. The chairs are uncomfortable. But when your palate begins to enjoy good food, your buttocks have adapted a bit.

Hidden treasure restaurant 20mins away from manchester city centre. All food were nice, so as the staff and atmosphere. Nothing particular for recommendations because all we ordered were at high quality🤭Try all of them 😂 Given the price and quality, definitely worth it 🫶🏻

My partner and I had a wonderful evening at Borage. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and Veronika runs the dining room with warmth and efficiency. The food is superb with first class flavours and presentation accompanied by excellent wine. All of this at incredibly affordable prices makes it an experience not to be missed! Congratulations to the whole team!!

An oasis in the culinary desert of Bowdon! This place is high end, city centre Manchester quality, at reasonable prices. So pleased that this restaurant is local to us. We will be eating here again guaranteed! The service was really relaxed and pleasant, food and quality of ingredients were good and paired really well with other ingredients. My only criticism is that the coffee was extremely bitter and I couldn't drink it. A little more investment in the coffee quality / brew process would pay dividends. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Very very good restaurant. The Sunday menu is excellent value and offers choice. The scallops in particular were superb, as were the roast potatoes with the beef roast. Only small comment is i ordered the beef rare and it was distinctly medium, but it was still delicious so I wouldn't downrate them for that.

The food was incredible, service was great and the small number of tables made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend the quail starter and rosted beef, the cost was not high at all, the quality is so good and the food is so beautifully presented. We will be back soon!😊

Awesome food at Borage. The restaurant itself had a very intimate setting, worth booking in advance. Staff were friendly throughout. Food and wine were fantastic, chorizo (starter) and lamb (main) were probably the pick of the dishes but each dish was great. Good value, we'll be returning, highly recommend!

Second time I’ve been and thought it was even better than the last! Absolutely delicious food and the staff were very attentive. Loved it !

Really lovely little restaurant. The food was delicious, and they had a nicely selected wine menu. Service was really efficient and it was nice to just be tucked away instead of somewhere rammed and too busy. The menu is a good size so you’re not stuck choosing and the beef in particular was great!

We tried this restaurant after hearing such good things about it. Sadly wouldn't return . Food was average. Service was OK but slow and the restaurant was on its last service so was half full, just bit attentive enough. Flat atmosphere

Hidden Gem right in the middle of Bowdon. Fantastic food with a cosy atmosphere. We went with family on a late Sunday afternoon and it was perfect!

Amazing hidden gem of a place! The food was so tasty, we went for the 5 course meal, wine superb also. Oh and if you appreciate fantastic service, they’ve got that too! We will definitely be returning!

Incredible meal where everything was cooked and presented to perfection. Considering the exceptional quality, the cost is not much more than the average prices around Altrincham/ Bowdon! Service was friendly and attentive We shall return!
