The sales pressure for customers is so real. It is the commission of the fitness managers and district managers that matters. I was signed up for a year contract with personal trainer with a verbal disclosure that I was only signing up for a trial of a day and if I don’t like it I can cancel anytime. I put a stop payment on my bank account for the trainer fee because I noticed while I was overseas that the fitness center was charging me every 2 weeks for the personal training fee, I called the gym and asked to close my account but was told I can’t because I signed a year contract and the gym sent me to 3rd party collector for the payment owed. I was told by the collector that in a month it is going to reflect in credit bureaus if I don’t pay. I work in Financial Institution with strict requirement of healthy financial fitness and getting into collection would cost me my job. I never used a personal trainer- NOT a day but now owed $300 and a 3rd party collector keep calling me to pay otherwise my credit will be affected. I have reached out to Angel, the fitness manager but recommended me to talk to his District Manager . Angel who pressured me to sign up a year contract without properly explaining the contract can’t do anything and his District Manager never responded to my email and not in favor that I close my membership. District Manager did not call me or did anything to ask what really happened. I was told today that Angle would arrange to have me a fitness trainer as his final words because he can’t close my account. I am so helpless and feel so violated with my consumer rights. I would not recommend this gym to my family, friends, clients and to anybody. I’m hiring a lawyer if anybody is interested.

One of the most disgusting gyms I have ever been to. I frequently ask staff to check men's restrooms - ALWAYS hard to find soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Beside equipment being old/rusty (totally health hazard!!), not providing BASIC cleanliness is just not acceptable. I signed up during covid time since everything else was closed but I am ready to move to a "normal" gym now...will be canceling my membership. Trust me, not worth even for $15.

1 Star is too much for this poorly managed gym! I moved out of San Diego months ago and called in to cancel my membership back in February. They confirmed by phone my membership was cancelled. I am still getting charged in July!! They advertise a "month to month contract, with no cancellation fees". This is FALSE. AVOID this gym at all costs!! They will NEVER cancel your membership and continue to try and take your money from your account, even after you cancel!! I have been to the location at Sports Arena in San Diego 3 times when I have been in town visiting over the past few months to have them address this situation: cancel my membership, and return my money that shouldn't have been charged since February! Every time I am told "it will be taken care of" and I will hear back from them by week's end. Nothing has been done. Keep in mind, I got the Operations Manager Megan involved, then had to get the new General Manager George involved once Megan took a leave of absence. George has done nothing but apologize, but no action has been done to remedy this situation. What has happened? They had the audacity to take my account to collections for the past month not being paid! Now I get calls and texts from ABC Financial?!

This gym has everything you could need to get a great workout and so much more. Whether you can find matching dumbbells, kettlebells, plates, or cable attachments is another story. Almost no one re-racks or puts things back appropriately. Chaos is 👑 here. Its also filthy so bring your own towels to wipe stuff down & shower. Don't forget a lock 🔒 (if you're lucky enough to snag a working locker). "For society to progress, we should not only move forward but also clean up after ourselves." We can all do better.

Horrible customer service. We cancelled our gym membership there a year ago. Come to find out they have been charging us for a year after cancelling services. We called and they said “no worries not a big deal.” It is a big deal we’ve been paying 24 dollars a month for the past 11 months. They said we will cancel it for you now. Mind you we haven’t lived in California in over 8 months….and said to cancel today will $24 for not giving 30 days notice. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be contacting the bank. Unbelievable they told us 11 months ago this was taken care of. Do not give them your banking info.

I loved this gym so much up till recently. I gave cancellation notice for the personal training program I was in back in September. After what was supposed to be my last payment in October they continued to take money. I called about it multiple times and kept getting the same explanation “this is your last payment” “this should be your last payment”. I could never reach management and payments kept coming out. I gave up and placed a block on my card. I recently decided to update my card so that the monthly membership could come out and now in DECEMBER they have taken yet another personal training payment! I called about it and again I got “this is your last payment”. How many “last payments” do they need?! For a service I am not receiving. I did not want to leave this gym but this was the last straw. I never had any issues before. I don't know if this is because of new management, but I have canceled my membership and would not recommend.

Great: Amazing instructors! Supposed to be a 24 hour gym and was randomly closed on a non-holiday. Needs Improvement: (updated as they finally have addressed things) 1. Pool is always noticeably dirty 2. Inconvenience (no hooks in bathrooms, no sanitary napkin dispensers, empty soap consistently, etc) 3. Equipment is rarely to never cleaned 4. Parking structure is poorly designed and regularly dosed with urine 5. Canceled classes on Sundays

If you try an cancel your membership here they will tell you it is canceled but will continue to charge you. When you do not pay they will pass your debt to a debt collector to harass you. This happened to me shortly about a year after I moved to another city and had to cancel my card due to them. Please be careful with these people.

Had this gym membership going on 4 years and had to cancel due to some financial hardships. Was going to reinstate it when things got better but after I cancelled my account they still charged me the yearly fee. They said they’d give a refund but since all refunds have to be approved by a GM it’s taken forever. When I try to call I get the “just keep calling we’re sorry” treatment, so not very customer service friendly. Would avoid if you want a gym that’s more responsive.

I signed up with Eos back in September 2021. For 2months now I’ve been trying to cancel my membership because I moved. I keep getting a run around even after they told me several times it was addressed. I checked again today and realized my card is still being charged every 2weeks. And I will not be taking this lightly. I work hard for what I earn and it seems this gym and staff just sweet talk members into taking your money. I never had this issue with any other gym. Beware. They respond to the low reviews as though they address the issue even though they never do. I’m still being charged for January and February. And they know this! I’m having to go through my bank to figure it out.

Overall the gym is nice but overcrowded. Not as clean and organized as other units. The sauna is absolutely disgusting. Management could definitely improve on it. Classes are good but there could be more classes in the schedule.

Great gym. Some great staff. Some staff with that pick and choose when to enforce rules, depending on who they decide they want to press rather then just enforcing rules. When most gym-goers are not wearing a mask, a staff member shouldn’t be calling out 1 person. We get it you have a job to do, but it’s very apparent when staff selects when to enforce and when not to enforce rules. Please try and hire staff that can handle their natural human ego and not stare down/call people out. It’s unfortunate that EOS is the only nearby affordable gym.

Open 24 hrs is great, clean showers, never crowded, huge parking structure. Took personal training but quit as it's not a workout, don't feel any results, can use machines without paying extra. Really nice trainer, though, Peter. Got charged extra beyond what owed, told person in charge, got charged twice again, talked to him 3 times total, still charged. Tried calling corporate, got cut off on transfer. Called my bank to lock them out of my account except the monthly fee I owe. Not a good experience. But still like going all the time on my own. Did what I could to straighten out the charges.

I have been going here for 2 years now. Have always enjoyed the outside area. Love the new equipment. It is very busy during the day but so are the other gyms. I do however wish the staff would help keep the place clean. The bathrooms are a mess. Toilets clogged and don't flush properly. The weights aren't ever in the right places. Finding matching dumbbells will take a minute. As for billing issues. There should be a way to pause our accounts without a fee if deployed.

Started out good, explaining that I'd be getting surgery in about 2 months and would need to freeze the account for 3 or more months, time came to freeze it and was told that It was frozen and to let them know when to unfreeze it. Was billed by their 3rd party company 162 dollars in 2 weeks, found out they automatically unfroze the account and I had to pay for 2months of gym membership just to cancel it, another 32 dollars. ABC financial uses robots to communicate and foreign country customer service representatives that you will have to deal with if anything goes wrong billing. Sad part I was just about to reactivate it now that I am recovered enough and can truly use a gym. Terrible customer service once your signed up, will be picking another gym.

As much as I wanted to love this gym, I recommend avoiding it all costs. Sure the outdoor area is cool and the membership is cheap but the people who go here are so disrespectful when it comes to putting equipment back where they got it, the equipment SUCKS, and it’s impossible to follow a program due to there not being enough space or weights for the amount of members they bring in. If you want a dumbbell between 5 and 30 you won’t find one- that part of the rack is always empty. And just expect every machine to be broken in some way. There are clearly issues here but the gym doesn’t seem to care about upkeeping the gym or listening to members complaints. Just another commercial gym that wants your money.

Not satisfied that the basketball court closes at 10pm it should have the same hours as the gym itself. It’s literally just leaving the lights on or turning them on when someone wants to shoot. I understand closed for cleaning, but just to be closed in a 24 hour gym doesn’t make sense. Canceled the membership, as soon as I seen they close at 10pm.

I've tried contacting them three times to cancel my membership with no luck. I keep trying to tell them I can no longer afford it and it just makes me sad because this is an otherwise great gym. I just can not afford to have this luxury right now and it seems like they don't care and just want to keep charging me....

Completely Incompetent Staff... Cost me $650. This last week, I stepped away from a machine and my wallet went missing. I searched high and low throughout the gym and went up to the Front Desk to check-in to see if anything had been turned in at least a dozen times throughout the night. The would either stare at my blankly, shrug, or check one single bin in one single cabinet. There was no concern and a complete lack of care. Zero empathy... Nothing but blank eyes staring back at me. My keys were attached to my wallet, so naturally I was worried that my car would be stolen. I waited and waited and waited, called and called. Finally on maybe the dozenth time I checked in, someone FINALLY offered to take my number down and said they would call if anything was turned in. I ended up having to call a locksmith to make a new key fob for my car so that it wouldn't get stolen. This key fob cost me $650. The locksmith informed me that he had been to this location many times and that theft is a huge issue for this franchise. I received a call two days later stating that they had had my wallet at the front desk THE ENTIRE TIME... All they had to do was MAKE AN EFFORT and look in MORE THAN ONE CABINET... My wallet had been turned in immediately that night. After HOURS of searching... sitting by my car hoping it wouldn't get stolen. Calling three different tow-truck services, numerous lock smiths and spending SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. Money that I didn't and don't have to spend. Now I am worried I won't even be able to make rent this month simply because the front desk staff didn't seem to care at all, or give the bare minimum effort. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This is an awesome gym, and I have been to probably over 100 in my lifetime. The staff is really friendly, no attitude, accommodating and the variety of equipment, the quantity of squat racks and bumper weights is the best I've ever seen. If you're looking for new shiny machines and equipment, this probably isn't the gym for you. If your looking to build muscle and be around other like minded people, this is for you. The clientele in my humble opinion is often lacking in etiquette, but not a deal killer there is a shortage of plates though... have to hunt far and wide sometimes for that 10 or 45 but again, not a deal killer at all solid mix of people, all getting along nicely. Love you guys!!

I walked into the gym today and it was crowded with staff members, it seemed they had a meeting and all of a sudden they were cleaning and organizing everything. Today is the first time I see this place is organized! Usually, weights are all over around the gym! The outside and back area stay dirty And it’s hard to find the weights needed! I never see a staff member cleaning or organizing before. I’ve been going to this Gym since last October. I’m still there because I love their equipment and location. But I do feel this place needs improvement. Sorry for the bad review :(

Hello, I originally decided not to write this review, but It has been bothering me and I do not want anyone else to feel this way. I signed my boyfriend & I up for a 7 day pass online, within minutes I received a call from Jordan to inform me that the gym is not honoring this offer but she can extend us a 1 day free trial if we come into the facility for a tour. My boyfriend and I agreed and set up an appointment. When we arrive for our appointment we ask for Jordan, I am assuming she was unavailable because we are greeted by Kayla instead for the tour. After the tour we sit down with Kayla and we go over the membership plans. We voiced our concern in regards to how crowded the gym was, Kayla assured us that the gym starts to die down around 8. We mentioned we would like to take advantage of the free 1 day pass to get a feel for the gym and the culture. Kayla says she cannot honor the 1 day pass as the facility is only for members due to Covid-19 & limited availability. My boyfriend & I reiterated what we were told on the phone and she insisted that this was not an option. Long story short, we signed up for a monthly membership. This is frustrating because now that my boyfriend and I have been to the gym a few times we are starting to notice that it is still pretty busy even late in the evenings. I understand why the 1 day pass could not be honored, I just wish we were not given conflicting information. It seems like we were offered the pass as a tactic to come into the facility and that gives me major time share vibes.

A nice and extremely spacious gym yet extremely flawed by high demand. I could not find another leg machine to work on after finishing my sets on the squat rack. It's crazy because this is one of the largest gyms I've set foot in, but there are so many people. Ended up curling then leaving as I lack the patience to wait for the next available machine. The service there is good. For $15 it may be worth it if crowds are something you can patiently wait around in, but for me it's a no.

Im upset. I have never left a bad review and today is the first one. I was sent an unsensitive email stating EOS mandated that you have to wear a mask while sweating and breathing hard while I do cardio for 30+ minutes. Also, they took away one of the pieces of gym equipment I use, because as a staff guy I asked about it said "people dont clean up after themselves" .. I am livid.. I cancelled my workout appt today. Im so close to cancelling my membership.

GARAGE SAFETY!!! I love this gym but the safety of the garage is the issue. I walked out to my car and saw a LITERAL bag feces on my windshield. I ran back inside and grabbed a male employee, Cecil. He was very nice and helpful, he walked me out, cleaned it off for me and walked around my car to make sure no one was hiding. He even checked inside my car. Coast was clear. I am so grateful to him. I think safety and security needs to be brought up. Cameras, patrol, or gate. How are our female members supposed to feel safe? Male members too but we all know females are the most targeted. Please keep your members safe and make them feel safe coming to your gym. Thank you.

I mean the pure size of the gym for the price is awesome. Fantastic facility. Not very well kept, always a bathroom or shower stall that’s under maintenance, often no soap in showers or TP in the stalls. My trainer Adolphus is absolutely amazing, very smart, motivational without being judgy or annoying. Flexible and clearly cares about me. Lots of friendly staff but in general the people at the front desk just stand there and talk. If I walk up on the back side, no one ever even looks at me let alone asks what I need. Four stars because honestly at the end of the day it’s so cheap. Well worth the membership

Adrian was super helpful in getting me and my friend setup at this gym! It has a lot of equipment for cardio, strength, and calisthenics. The staff keeps the place very clean compared to other gyms I’ve been to in SD. Will definitely be the gym I continue going to.

Absolutely great gym. I’m probably one of the youngest that goes to eos (14) and have found it such an amazing environment with positive energy and I’ve met some of the friendliest people there. There is a plethora of equipment, and they are even doing huge renovation. There are now 10 Olympic power racks, at least 8 dedicated squat racks, and any machine you could dream of. Especially for a quite affordable price, it is such a pleasure to workout there almost everyday of the week. 12/10

I wanted to direct this review only to some people who work at the reception (check-in/front desk), overall I like the gym. This evening I felt disrespected by two guys of EOS crew. I got at the gym 7pm, but my schedule was for 12pm. They don't let me workout. It was the right decision, I know that! (I totally understand the point of work by the Covid rules). But why this guy (check-in desk) pick me?! It was because my accent? Because I'm not from US? There was other guy behind me in the line who also had a different schedule, but EOS allowed him to enter the gym. I think they should have done the same as did to me. After that I asked to cancel my plan and a other guy (check-in desk) said he couldn't do that. I tried to argue and he was trying to get rid of me with no clear explanation. I think all members should be treated the same doesn't matter nationality, color.... That's not nice! That's why I'm giving this review.

Prior to covid, the men's locker room was simply disgusting. I dreaded having to use the restroom mid workout. Used women's personal products were found in the stall multiple times! I gather that perhaps a homeless person was using the facilities and simply didn't care to clean up. That part is pure speculation. However, it's the gym responsibility to keep the facilities up to par. I could care less about a restroom remodel when basic cleaning is neglected. Today, I was finishing my workout with some power cleans. First rep, the weight felt exceedingly heavy but attributed it to being tired. Second rep I knew something was off with the amount of force my wrists took, straining/injuring one in the process. I examined the bar, and sure enough it was bent. For those who are unaware, Olympic lifts require straight bars with solid bearings for adequate spin upon lifting. Otherwise the torque produced gets transfered to your joints. This is the second time this has happened to me at this gym. Unfortunately this time I got hurt. If I pay for access to gym equipment, I expect to not have to op-check it each time. That is part of maintenance and upkeep, the gyms responsibility. I cancelled my membership today due to this. It's hard enough to try and train during covid, let alone worry about whether the equipment I'm using is safe to use. Eos gets 2 stars for the quantity of machines and outdoor area. However if you value your health and ability to train, I suggest looking elsewhere. Taking time off blows. Edit: EOS made great effort to make things right. As such, I changed the review to 4 Stars. They issued me a refund and granted me immediate cancellation of my membership. Some things just cant be avoided, such as encountering a bad piece of equipment or getting hurt. However, how you respond to it as a person or business speaks volumes. Thanks EOS Keith Elliot for making things right.

Horrible experience with the billing terms and conditions. I have a huge bill for months of service I never used. The gym itself is fine but during Covid-19, the measures put in place to be able to work out are not ideal. Which ultimately created a larger desire to find another gym with better conditions. I will not ever be returning to this club in the future.

Plus, People walking around without masks and not wiping down their way to our equipment after use. You should not have to bump into people during a time like this. Cardio equipment way too close together. I get it’s different times and people are being a little more over the top. But The cleanliness in overall over booking for timeslots is ridiculous

Honestly it’s a great gym. Huge place with lots of different machines. I’m here for the personal trainer and it started out ok. I always get a personal trainer because it’s someone that holds me accountable. And the trainers I’ve had in the past in other gyms were great at doing that. So moving closer to this gym I thought I’d get a trainer to do that again. And it wasn’t as I planned. She was great for the first month and then she just stopped txting me all together. No real check-ins no progress updates. It was alright for the price I guess.

The gym itself is nice: it’s big, with a variety of equipment (indoors and outdoors), the movie theater, the pool, etc. However, the sales pressure of the staff to sign up for the “better” (more expensive) memberships and for a personal trainer is awfully bad. They really made me feel uncomfortable. I only decided to sign up for the gym because of it’s location and amenities. Staff was very intimidating specifically the the girl and guy that had me sign up on the first day. They were very pushy about it and weren’t even listening to what I had to say. I had to explain that I didn’t want any other plans 5 times before she stopped pressuring me! They make you sign contracts in a rush without clearly laying out the important points of the contract like signing for a one year membership which we cannot cancel.

To sum this specific gym up in one word would be "Phienomenal." Im no stranger to gyms and what to expect but this place, wow. I've been a member here since 2022, and absolutely love it. They have literally EVERYTHING, a newly renovated inside freewight room that is accompanied by ample mirror space, and a machine/cable machine area that's larger than most average chain gyms entirely. Above all of that is a cardio deck that has every everything a gym rat could want including multiple mirrored bodyweight training/turf stretching areas. They also have a solid swimming lap pool and a whole blacked out surround sound cardio theater with blockbuster movies running around the clock. Outside is a completely different gym(literally). It's almost 5 times the size of the indoor one; With freeweights, hammerstrength, benches, squat racks, machines, cables, deadlift platforms, turf field, bags for combatives, and even a cycling studio with classes. This gym specifically is your San Diego Muscle beach/golds gym venice, and family gym all in one. Th staff is super attentive, and they're always refilling the wipe down stations and making sure members are taken care of. I myself have been having issues with the EoS app for signing in for about 5 mths now and today the Consultant Dan was able to get me squared away, he took the time out of his day to help me out when he easily could have not like most gyms. Dan and Summer used they're unparalleled customer service expertise to fix my membership sign in issues and me on my way. I'd give this place 7 stars if it was allowed. I do not intend to switch gyms as long as I reside in San diego, there is simply no other competition for value, price, atmosphere, and quality.

Great service and assistance from Regional VP Brandon Evans today. I didn't feel pushed into the membership- quite the opposite, I felt listened to and treated like a human. The pool and therapy pool area looked very inviting, and everything else in the gym looked clean and organized. The kind of place where people rack their weights. I'm excited to jump in!

EOS FITNESS in Point Loma, CA is my new gym, open 24 hours a day, I can workout on my time! The staff are friendly, and greet you with a smile. I had my fitness evaluation done by Elijah, who was knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to create a routine that would challenge me without killing me!! The gym has a couple of free apps you can download to track your workouts and progress, and they're compatible with nearly all smart watches and phones; track your fitness goals anywhere and anytime. This gym is so awesome that EVERYONE works out there! Good luck finding parking!!

I really enjoyed this gym during my visit to San Diego. It’s got a ton of great equipment both indoor and outdoor. Although it is crazy, packed all the time, they actually do a relatively decent job of keeping up the Silletti overall. It wasn’t like disgustingly dirty, or anything. Naturally, the bathrooms could always use more work. It’s almost like they need someone to stay in the bathroom area all day to keep them clean. However, at a gym with this monthly membership price, some people are just going to be nasty unfortunately. If you are looking for a good gym in the area, and you like a wide variety of equipment, I definitely recommend this place.

I have been to many EOS fitness gym locations in the Southern California region and this is still my favorite. Perfect size, location, and staff. Overall a great gym to be a part of. Costs little to nothing and so many opportunities to reach your goals.

It is a very spacious gem with outside amenities two pools a movie room a sauna basketball courts and several other rooms despite all of this over the last few years it has acquired too many people trying to work out at the same time during the peak hours of 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it's very hard to find unused equipment however if you're working out before or after this time frame it's much easier to find unused equipment without having to wait in line so I would give it five stars for costliness of a annual $50 plus $15.99 a monthly fee and it has plenty of staff to help you along your path if you need a trainer it is also a very well upkept in cleanly gym the only reason I gave it three stars is because of congestion

They sold me a membership without mentioning needing an appointment to visit the gym. I couldn't get an appointment on the website and when I called to tell them I couldn't book an appointment the staff hung up on me. I decided to cancel the membership and rather than getting a refund for a membership, I could never use I am locked in to paying another annual and monthly fee before they will cancel the membership.

Great gym. Gets too busy and kind of old equipment but for the price it’s perfect.

I do love and appreciate the gym. But have you noticed how many reviews talk about "older" equipment? One chest machine was removed and never replaced. I think it would be beneficial to invest in newer, more advanced and practical equipment. Like Dual action machines I've seen such as shoulders(press and flye). One piece at a time and before you know it reviews will talk about the great NEW equipment in months. Just my 2 cents.

You are required to make an appointment to work out and this gym is always packed and all the reservations are always taken. They've been under construction the entire time I've been a memeber and almost everything is closed except outdoor areas. Covid19 has impacted they're operations but still, my experience here has been one star, if you want to work out here you have to clammer for an appointment 24 hours early otherwise you can't workout at all.

I would love to suggest this gym to all the people. This is the best place to get physically and mentally fit. They had a professional coach here. Very good for the first-timer.

I was told payments were being paused due to COVID. I was never notified about payments being restated until I got an email from a 2nd party that EOS works with to collect payments. Neither company cares that I wasn't notified of new payments and neither of them care to rectify the situation. Edit: You can't miss what was never received. I checked my emails just a moment ago, never got anything (although I have plenty of junk emails from you). I don't visit your website nor follow any company on social media. I certainly NEVER got a phone call or voicemail. Ya screwed me over, at least embrace it. Congrats on squeezing money out of me.

Been a member for 5 years. I love the concept. Specially the outside workout area. The lockers have been closed for quite some time. I hope they fix them soon.

such a great establishment, me and my partner worked out here for two years and loved it. sadly we moved and 24 hour fitness is a walk across the street for us now. the parking is amazing and has 24/7 security. classes are all at very convenient times and the staff is always happy and helpful. the outside gym area is so amazing, get some sun and show off the guns!!!!

The staff here at EoS Sports Arena San Diego Ca. are OUTSTANDING in every sense of the word. They continue to make me feel very welcomed and appreciated. Staff member Austin greets me, by my first name, as I arrive at EoS and encourages me with a "Have a Great Day" as I'm leaving. Staff member DeLanie introduces herself to me this morning with a big beautiful smile and compliments me on my deadlifts. Keep up the good work Eos and again THANK YOU for your excellent/friendly staff members. You are always willing to help us and you are highly appreciated! Gary

The outdoor activity area is way too crowded more than half of the time, nearly impossible to get an appointment, and the equipment is usually always “out of service”. The hour time restriction is almost unrealistic based on the fact that the machine your most likely need, will be taken by a group of ppl at a time. By the time the hour is up, you’d be lucky to finish half of your workout.

I went in not knowing what gym I wanted to join at that time, this one was just close to my work. The front desk staff where very helpful in helping me through the steps to get sat down with a sales employee. The general manager Howard came up and introduced him self right away and took me to the desk to sing up. There we talked about goals and went over what actually brought me into the gym that day. Trevor was a new sales person there and he took me on a tour and showed me the facility they had to offer. The outside area is awesome, they have it very spaced out and are operating under the rules and regulations that are needed to stay open. All in all I ended up signing up and I’m very happy with my new gym! Go check them out if you are in Point Loma/San Diego area

This gym has an amazing selection of machines that you don't see often such as the paramount and strive machines. These older machines work so well! I reserve the fifths star for when the locker rooms are renovated.

I just started back working out after many years' absence. The professional staff at EoS, Sports Arena, San Diego made me feel very welcome and gave me expert, workable advice on what I should do for my workouts. Al, one of the personal trainers is awesome! I look forward to my workouts there! I highly recommend this gym!!

The gym itself is very clean and nice. I especially like the movie room or you can work out in the air conditioning and the treadmill’s. Only thing I don’t care for is the parking structure that is part of the shopping area. Nooks and crannies are filled with trash and homeless people’s belongings. Not sure I would be comfortable going there in the middle of the night. The whole landscaping and surrounding area need to be upgraded. All of the employees are very friendly and send to care. I would like to suggest that they were love around the restrooms occasionally to see if the soap dispensers still have soap in them toward the end of the day. The an machine at the top of the stairs needs new ankle pads and the movie room has had a treadmill that has been out of order for days. These are minor things overall it’s a great Gym.

Good gym but if you are at risk or live with someone at risk yo covid do not go. The gym does it’s best to manage social distancing and hygiene but a lot of members really don’t care about any of that. Today I witnessed someone sneeze on the dumbbell rack (no mask) and just walk off. There needs to be more accountability for members breaking rules

(Translated by Google) I do not recommend it, it is always full and you have to wait for all the machines, both cardio machines and weights. At the time of signing the contract they tell you that they are only 24.99 dollars but the following month they charge you an annual fee of 50 dollars. Most cardio machines are always out of order. The pool is always under maintenance or out of service. In short it is a waste of money.

Everything is always broken, paper towels are always empty at peak hours, and to top it off the sauna is probably a health and safety hazard for how disgusting it is. Every other sauna I’ve gone to at different locations are spotless and each locker room has its own. This one though smells with puddles of dirt and sweat that just accumulate on the group. Someone’s going to slip and hurt themselves

One of the worst experiences I was humiliated and embarrassed in front of everyone in the lockers. I was taking a shower and the shower. The doors don't even close right so the manager comes and tells me that it's been people complaining about the way I shower. I told him if this was not your first complaint why didn't you address it to me and wait until now? Then he treated me like if I did a crime or something he kicked me out. But it's funny how he allows homeless people to go in for free and he doesn't say anything to them when they make a mess or do drugs or In his ♿️ stool. I can even be in public makes me anxious. One of the worst feelings ever

The only reason I go to this gym is it's open 24 hours and I work over night. I cannot wait until I switch back to days so I can go back to The GYM San Diego. I have been going to gyms all around the world for the past 20 years and this gym is something else. Every night I go the gym, I see dumbbells everywhere. The racks are almost completely empty and I have to walk around the gym to hunt down dumbbells. This is absurd. I've never seen anything like it and the staff don't care. They're lazy. They're dumbbells, kettlebells and plates thrown everywhere all over the gym. The gym goers can careless. Go figure. They are disrespectful Californians. The staff should be walking around picking up after them. Even when there's plenty of staff during the day it is still like this. Tomorrow night, I will be taking photos to send to the CEO. The last time there was an issue I made contact with Mr. Drengberg and the issue was resolved immediately. These people claimed they were open 24 hours, however, they used to close every other night. Not anymore :-)

The place is great, with awesome vibes, and tons of equipment. The only thing that gets me is other people's lack of discipline or motivation... I don't like that the place will be packed, and more than 3/4's of the people will be on their phones. You should be coming to the gym to loose yourself, to better yourself, to get away from the screen for a while, and do things different. But I know most gyms are like this. So it's not the gyms fault... The gyms great. Great indoor anf an awesome outdoor selection for machinery. I recommend this gym to everyone I know.

Disappointing Experience I regret to say that my experience at EōS Fitness has been quite disappointing. The cleanliness of the restrooms leaves much to be desired, and despite raising the issue, there hasn't been noticeable improvement. Moreover, there seems to be a lack of enforcement regarding proper footwear in the sauna and steam room areas, creating an uncomfortable and potentially unsafe environment. What's even more frustrating is the lack of transparency during my transfer from UFC Fit. I incurred maintenance fees at UFC and un late fees at EōS in the same month without prior notice. Despite addressing this, I have yet to receive a refund. I hope these concerns are addressed promptly to enhance the overall experience for gym members. My recent experience at EōS Fitness was marred by an unfortunate encounter with the manager. I found their demeanor to be surprisingly rude, which significantly impacted my overall impression of the gym. A more courteous and respectful approach from management would undoubtedly contribute to a more positive atmosphere for all members. Especially for members who didn’t know they’re being transferred to a low rated gym.
