Great food great staff we ordered the steak with pepper Sauce, escargot and the final four plate which is a fried onion rings chicken pops and cheese balls. The honey mustard is homemade as well as the BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was more like katchup. Great place all in all.

Decided to have late lunch here with a friend because their kitchen was still open, and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious and satisfying (both of us got salads). The local beer on tap is definitely worth trying!

Our visit to Troyes has been beautifully enhanced by the excellent and friendly service at Le Tablier. The service is comprised by young professionals with an excellent team spirit and organisation. They offer a pleasant atmosphere as you can see how well they understand each other. Fred has specially showed us care, kindness and an excellent service. I am certain he has a brilliant career in front of him in whichever domain he wants to pursue. I wish the Le Tablier a good success as they have an excellent service, beautiful location and delicious menu which tries to be true to their local cuisine and local producers. All the best!

I went to Troyes and tried the best looking Restaurant I could find. Le Tablier it was. I had the local specialty Andouillette - it was intense, yet tasty. Very polite service from the Garçons who helped me with my lacking french

While driving to the South of France, we stopped in Troyes to stretch our legs and eat some lunch. It was a nice town to walk through even though we didn’t get the chance to really visit something. The houses were something we hadn’t seen before (totally different form Colmar if you ask me). We came across this bistro and ordered a burger and a trout. The service was very good, all employees were very friendly. The food was good, although nothing fancy, for a very reasonable price! It was also nicely presented! We were both more than satisfied with the food. The tables were a little bit small but okay. We sat outside but when going to the toilet we saw the interior was very nice and cosy aswel. Would recommend the place to others!

Broad menu showcasing regional specialties and modern tastes. Beers were on the expensive side. Dessert selection was a pleasant surprise, with many good choices. Great for larger groups.

The fish smelled terrible of rancid butter. They said it was fresh but didn’t look like at all. Bathroom door broken and overall quite disappointing and not that cheap either…

Nice place for a apéro and quick bite. I really liked the charcuterie tray with cheese. Also I highly recommend the fried cheese balls. It’s a local dish. The service was great and the servers were really nice and accommodating. Merci

What a superb find! We had assumed it would be a bit touristy and underwhelming but the food was lovely (burgers and excellent fries for kids, tasty salads with yummy Chaource parcels for the oldies) and a great location for watching the world go by. The whole thing was made all the better by the lovely staff who were friendly, welcoming and more than happy to speak English to us! Big shout out to the lovely Fred who looked after us and made us feel super welcome. Will definitely go back on our next trip.

I've eaten here before and I guess it's now under new management/owner. It was a great place to eat offering a professional service with excellent food and wine. Now it's touristy, offers fast not very good food and average but expensive drinks. Service was abysmal.

This place was recommended by our host and it was really tasty. It had 3 gluten free dishes, we tried 2 of them and they did not disappoint. The waitress was mega friendly and the price was reasonable - 2 mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for €80. It might benefit from ditching its football theme, cos the food was enough of a pull.

Very nice place for a dinner, good ambiance. Overall food was very tasty but one of the ordered products (steak) first was overcooked, then a new one was made but that was undercooked. Besides that, both quality and quantity of food is very satisfying! Staff seemed a bit "lost" at times and others a bit distracted with talking to friends. So we got food but no plates to put it on. Then we got the plates but no utencils.. and sometimes it simply took a while to get service as staff kept talking with passersby. Besides that, very friendly staff, always smiling so thats good! Overall a nice experience, great scenery and good food and would definitely recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious, vegan friendly and the wait time was very minimal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they also spoke English which is very important for me as we are a vegetarian couple and find it essential to discuss dietary options.

Le Tablier is a fine restaurant, but their is a lack in consistency, how a client is treated by the staff. When dining here we were not showed the plat du jour, but only the regular menu, whilst French customers were shown and explained the suggestions. Explanation of one of the waiters you came in before seven, then it's not available. The wine suggestion by another femaile waitress was good. But of attention by the staff dominated, while they took all the time for again French customers. Next time some more consistency please.

Staff very unfriendly. We only came for a drink (we asked them if that was possible). We didn't even finish our drinks, and wanted to order more drinks after, and already received the bill. Without asking. Without them saying us something. They threw it on the table.

We booked a table with friends for a dinner at the restaurant however the whole experience was completely ruined when in the middle of the dinner we noticed a cockroach besides our table!!! Of course we called for a waiter who calmly picked it and left without any explanation. After seeing this i would expect apologies and dinner “on the house” just to ensure customers leave in a decent mood, but NO… apparently the Manager is quite used to this “cockroach appearance” thus he only offered 25% 🫣 Not going back for sure, if Service and Client experience is not Priority for the Management of Le Tablier.

Nice place in old town. Limited menu. But all is serving very fast.

We essentially chose this place at random and were so pleasantly surprised! All the food is locally sourced and the chef is clearly very talented! From the chicken nuggets (sourced from the Champenois countryside) to the braised beef, everything was great.

Beef brisket was quite tough and hard to get down. Fries were just OK. Service was very very slow. Not a great meal for the price!

Excellent lunch experience. Salade 'Mussy' and 'Madame Champagne'. Each with different ingredients, dressing and taste. You don't see that very often All fresh and a portion which you can call a 'meal-salad'. On top a very friendly service. I gladly paid the bill though the soft drinks are a bit too heavily priced (4 Euro for a Schweppes Agrum?).

Probably one of the best restaurant in Troyes. A must to be included in any visit to this city. Every dishes seem delicious, make sure to eat there on your first day because you'll have to come back to taste each entry of their menu...

Amazing time, great food ( local and organic) ..if you take the Asian tartare, ask for the sweet chilli on the side so you can enjoy all the flavour the way you want ( a little too much from my taste as there were other fresh herbs I would have wished to test more)...strongly recommend...
