Ruins of an old greek town and fortress, uncovered just a bit... And maybe is better. The view is spectacular.

Large ruins of the settlement with a couple of.tables in both Romanian and English explaining the history of the place. Spectacular views of the lake and the grasslands. Pick some bottles lying around the wild beach at the entrance path to make it look even better.

An amazing ancient greek fortress, unfortunately with litter here and there left by uneducated "tourists". The place is a heaven for the amateur herpetologist which will discover a treasure of lizzard and snakes among the ruins during spring and summer months. Birdwatchers will enjoy the place as well as there are always both species of Pelicans around. Well worth a visit and much more atention from the government.

Amazing place. Feels like you are on an island, surrounded by water on all sides. The ruins make the place truly special.

The road is almost practicable by car. The view and the archeological site are spectacular, you can also find info points about the history of the citadel. There is a small place where you can take a bath.

Amazing fortress, more than 2000 years old, free of charge for visiting. You can go via car until the lake and from there you have to walk few meters to fortress

Greek and Roman ruins from the seventh century. Beautiful sightseeing over Danube Delta and endemic plant species and wildlife.

Very nice place to walk around and take pictures. It must ver nice at sunset, it was cloudy and windy when we went. You van leave your car where the road ends and take a 20 minutes hike. Enjoy!

👍👍 The road there is bumpy but you can ride quite close without any issues just make sure to park next to the house at tye entrance because passed that you need a 4x4. When me an my partner went there there were locusts and tons of mosquitoes so we had to go to place that were very windy. Best part is...
