Two
months
ago,
we
returned
home
from
a
weekend
where
our
dog
stayed
at
home
for
two
days.
When
we
got
back,
gave
her
the
attention
she
needed
and
played
with
her.
However,
we
noticed
some
grape-like
lumps
under
her
belly
in
the
groin
area.
We
realized
that
we
had
also
noticed
an
episode
a
week
before
when
our
dog
refused
to
climb
some
stairs.
After
realizing
this,
we
went
online
to
search
for
a
24/7
veterinary
clinic.
We
eventually
found
four
clinics
to
consider
in
Bucharest:
one
in
Militari,
the
Veterinary
Medicine
Hospital
(Clinica
Facultatii
de
Medicina
Veterinara
for
google
search,
which
has
an
emergency
room),
Centrovet
in
Piata
Alba
Iulia,
and
Mobile-Vet
from
Doamna
Ghica.
We
had
two
decent,
ok
experiences
with
the
university
hospital
some
time
ago,
where
we
visited
with
two
18-year-old
cats.
However,
this
time,
my
melancholy
led
me
to
choose
a
private
clinic,
avoiding
the
university
hospital.
Despite
the
alarming
situation
we
found
ourselves
in,
we
chose
to
read
some
reviews
for
about
30
minutes
and
ultimately
chose
Mobile-Vet.
We
called,
and
Dr.
Andreea
Balan
answered.
We
announced
that
we
would
arrive
in
40
minutes
for
a
consultation.
Following
which
she
told
us
that
our
dog
had
tumors,
and
some
additional
tests
were
required,
such
as
blood
tests
to
see
the
condition
of
the
liver
and
kidneys,
some
cardio
tests,
and
lung
X-rays
for
possible
metastases,
to
see
if
she
could
handle
anesthesia.
I
would
like
to
point
out
that
we're
talking
about
a
15-year-old
7kg
mixed-breed
dog,
who
we
jokingly
call
"Batranica"
(which
means
“The
Old
Lady”).
We
did
all
the
tests,
which
lasted
from
2:00
AM
to
3:30
AM
and
from
12:30
PM
to
2:00
PM
the
following
day.
The
test
results
were
excellent.
Finally,
we
went
for
a
consultation
with
Dr.
Radu
Vasiloiu
to
determine
the
details
of
the
operation
because
it
was
clear
that
this
was
the
only
option.
The
discussion
was
very
direct,
short,
and
to
the
point,
where
all
the
details
and
risks
were
explained
to
us.
Dr.
Radu
Vasiloiu
is
a
still
young,
active,
and
involved
professional
who
didn't
wait
for
us
to
ask
for
the
details.
We
scheduled
the
surgery
and
moved
on.
As
humans,
we
tend
to
think
that
when
we
go
to
a
doctor,
we
should
be
treated
warmly,
and
we
are
skeptical
that
we
won't
be
understood.
However,
we
actually
need
professionals
who
will
take
a
very
important
problem
for
us,
make
us
understand
it,
become
aware
of
it,
and
make
the
best
decision,
in
this
case,
to
operate
on
a
15-year-old
dog
with
breast
cancer,
simultaneous
oophorectomy,
and
mastectomy.
The
operation
was
a
real
success.
We
followed
Dr.
Radu
Vasiloiu's
post-operative
advice,
and
the
healing
process
went
perfectly;
there
were
no
infections
from
the
surgery
or
the
clinic.
As
a
result,
we
still
have
the
5th
member
of
our
family
with
us.
With
a
helmet
on
her
head,
she
plays,
enjoys,
and
is
a
happy
dog
so
far.
In
conclusion,
it
was
like
Grey's
Anatomy
for
animals.
Please
ignore
the
haters
who
vote
negatively
on
prices.
I
can
confidently
say
that
the
prices
at
Mobile-Vet
are
reasonable
and
justified
for
the
quality
of
service
provided.
The
staff,
equipment,
and
facilities
are
all
top-notch,
and
the
level
of
expertise
and
care
provided
by
the
veterinarians
is
exceptional.
However,
I
do
agree
that
the
reception
area
could
use
some
improvement
in
terms
of
customer
service
and
friendliness.
Dr.
Radu
Vasiloiu
is
a
young
and
active
professional
with
a
serious
and
direct
approach.
He
takes
the
initiative
to
explain
all
the
details
and
risks
associated
with
the
treatment,
allowing
the
patient's
family
to
make
an
informed
decision.
He
is
involved
in
his
work,
and
he
helps
his
patients
heal
and
recover
successfully.
In
this
particular
case,
he
saved
our
dog's
life.
You
may
feel
that
he
is
focused
on
achieving
the
best
possible
outcomes
for
his
patients
and
does
not
waste
time
on
unnecessary
pleasantries.
We
are
grateful
for
his
dedication
and
professionalism.
