👍 A must visit in Lonavla. They have some other activities too like 7d ride, infinity mirrors and water balloon rides etc. I would not recommend anything apart from the Wax museum. There is also a chikki and fudge shop near by if you want to buy anything. People often mention good, museum, statues, visit, house, Good, real, Museum, worth, nice,

Easy to locate. Very near Mumbai pune Express way. Ample space for parking. Along with museum they have horror show, 9D show, Mirror maze, Shiv vastu sangralay, foot spa with fish and for kids trampoline and one more water ball activity. All are ok, not so very good. In the Wax Museum statue of Anna Hazare was awesome rest are good. For all the activity combined charge is 450 other wise activity cost is 100, 150 per activity etc. Overall ok experience. No charges for taking pic at museum.

The Wax Museum is at the outskirts of Lonavala towards Pune (not to be confused with Sunil's wax museum). It is fairly easy to locate thanks to many signs prominently placed on the main road. Take the left turn under the flyover after you pass Hotel Neeta. There are following attractions: 1. Celebrity Wax Museum 2. 9D show 3. Haunted house 4. House of mirrors 5. Antique museum One can choose individual attractions or go for a combo package which costs ₹450. There's a steady stream of visitors during the weekend.

Good place to visit in Lonavala. They have good collection of wax statues. Most of them look real, very good job done . They have few other activities to do also there for kids. Need little renovation, as after lockdown looks like not being maintained.

The wax museum have few statue. No attendent for explain, collection of shivaji maharaj stuff was Limited. The 3D show sitting area was not good. Overall hygiene and upkeeping need improvement. The mirror room is not small. You are charging 450/- per person, not worth for what is offered.

Recently visited this Wax Museum. Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum is a popular attraction in Lonavala founded by a 38-year-old wax artist from Kerala, Sunil Kandaloor. The wax statues cover noted personalities from many walks of life - religion, social service, history, art, literature, pop music, etc.The statues look so real. Entry fee - 150 Rs They also have 9D Movie, Shivshahi Museum etc. Good place to visit once

We purchased combo pack of wax museum, scary house, 9D video, mirror maze, shivshahi collection for 450 rs. Overall fun pack it is. Go for it and enjoy. Also try fish spa. For wax museum : Add more personalities in collection.

It's a good museum, the ambience is good and well maintained. Indian personalities are pretty perfect. Some figures are not that perfect. Another museum is medieval weapons and antiquity just beside it. (Apart from mirror maze, Hall of Horror. You can take "Combo ticket" from the counter.) Weapons from the 15th - 16h century, mostly from the time of His Highness Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj are displayed in "Shivshahi Sangrahalay" Overall a nice experience, good place to visit with your family. Located in Lonavala hence accessible from Mumbai and Pune easily.

If you are really interested to visit then I insist to buy the ticket for wax museum alone not the whole package. 3D movie and scary house are not at all good.

Museum is awesome. Some of the most brilliant work of making personalities from wax. The bestest of the bests was Anna Hazare.

The wax structure facial for few celebrities does not match at all like Lata mangaeshwar was very broad even MJ , Bruce, Jackie was not at all matching only Anna hazare was close to real rest were very bad and add to tht tkt was Rs.150 it should be be 50 only.

Nice work at the Wax Museum. Quite immaculate and real looking statues of Shri Anna Hazare, Lata Mangeshkar. Amazing work. Also the Shiv Shrushti Museum with weaponry from the ShivKaal...Shivaji Maharaj's times are wonderful collection. Scary Room though is not good/impressive at all and doesn't scare you. 9D Animation movie theater is amazing experience with the Roller Coaster Ride. MUST Go.

  • 4/5 Akshay R. 10 months ago on Google
I would give them a 4 star since the statues look very real. However, I would like to see a few more additions to the museum

  • 3/5 atul m. 1 year ago on Google
The place is nice one. Found statues of almost all famous people or celebrities. But some of them are really geniune and exact as real persons. It costs 150/- Rs per head to visit, and by considering the statues it is on higher side. Washrooms are available here. Maganlal chikki outlet is alsi there in premises. It is situated on the second right diversion on the way to Lonaval from Pune. Parking is the biggest problem, as road approaches to the place is too narrow and a resort is there before you reach. The major landmark is Sahyadri farm from here the place is just 100ft. But it was a nice experience, and one should visit here it is worth watching.

A wax museum or waxworks usually consists of a collection of wax sculptures representing famous people from history and contemporary personalities exhibited in lifelike poses, wearing real clothes. Some wax museums have a special section dubbed the "Chamber of Horrors", in which the more grisly exhibits are displayed. Some collections are more specialized, as, for example, collections of wax medical models once used for training medical professionals. Many museums or displays in historical houses that are not wax museums as such use wax figures as part of their displays. The origin of wax museums goes back to the early 18th century at least, and wax funeral effigies of royalty and some other figures exhibited by their tombs had essentially been tourist attractions well before that.

It's nice place to experience wax Art, still a lot of place for improvement, not well maintained, just okay 👍🏻

  • 1/5 INVINCIBLE 2 years ago on Google
very few (only 2) wax statues are worth watching. Good detailing, but most statues are old and not that gr8. Rs 150 is too expensive,50 rs would have been perfect. they also have scary castle, mirror room, 9D virtual ride. I haven't tried as I was disappointed with wax museum. complete package is for Rs 600. Burn your money only if you really want to kill the time in lonawala, May be you will Enjoy this place.

Wax idols except for 2-3 are not even nearly identical. The only good thing, they have an electric car charging station which is functional. Avoidable otherwise. Remaining games and activities are also average. Definitely not value for money.

Wonderful statues many of which resembled the dignitaries & imp persons. Not too many though and a little forlorn. It makes sense to promote this local initiative and go and visit the place at least once. The photos put up were among the ones that resembled.

Quite costly but yes you will get to see some best wax statue. It costs 450 for 5 (wax museum, scary house, mirror maze, 10 min 4d movie, library), if you take separate it will cost 600. Wax museum is worth visiting Scary house and mirror maze is too small, I think it will take not more than 5 min each.

  • 3/5 Dr Anuja W. 3 years ago on Google
The place is ok.. will say a bit costly. U can spend 1 hr here if u take combo of all activities. Combo contains wax museum, scary house, mirraor maze 5d action cinema. Some wax sculptures are nice but others are a bit different . Brak obama, anna hazare look real. But sachin , harry, lata are bit different. Shivshahi exhibition is nice but some more information regarding artefacts can help.
