It's in the heart of city, near railway station. It's more of a forest with place for children to play. One must visit this place as it provides relaxation and comfort and makes you feel close to nature. One of the tree there provides natural swing due to its shape. Good place for photography

Once a Botanical garden, during the years of service of an English officer ‘Mr. Rye’, has now been converted into a park frequented by picnickers. Lounging over 25 acres of manicured land, the park provides extensive green lawns, that are equipped with swings where the children can play and have fun. Hence it is an ideal visiting spot for the tourists as well as for the local people, to sit on the clean wooden benches, stroll around the tall trees and relax with the near and dear once. Apart from the varieties of trees and flowering plants, the park also has an old Shiva Temple within its premises. When I visited in the December month there was some reconstruction were in place. So didn't saw full garden but it's very nice and pleasant 😊

Currently open during Covid times. Not at all well maintained. The entrance has a small restaurant for snacks and also washroom facilities are available. The park is big enough and at an elevation, with a temple and a few residents strewn inside at the end. It goes beyond till a huge water tank. You can spot few Indian Koels, Fowl etc. Some trees have very old and overgrown entangled dangling roots which is the main attraction. Many anthills too are there, so watch your footstep. The park doesn't have enough benches to sit, also the lawn isn't well cut or well placed. Parking is not available inside the park, but right opposite the park there is some parking available for two and four wheelers.

If you happen to visit Lonavala, don't miss to check out Ryewpod park. It's a beautiful green patch and plenty of birders and one of the trees could be 100+ years old. Great place to spend an early morning hours to see lovely colourful birds. A must visit place.

A beautiful garden with ancient trees.... Small lawn area where you can go with your picnic basket...... Natural shade of thick trees even during hot afternoon sun, lot of spots for candid snaps!

A small park in which there is a small portion which is cemented.. some wilderness.. a temple.. a water tank and enough greenery for spending an evening. We reached there on a rainy day and the whole feeling was amazing . It is just wonderful to walk around the park and it is on the way to the lake view point. This is at close proximity to both bus stand and railway station. Which is at a walkable distance..

Chilled out place even at the temperature of 35 Degrees plus . Feels like a fresh breath of oxygen reviving your body and mind. Huge trees every where but alas not looked after I'll maintained lots of trash strewn around . Kids playing area is really pathetic with broken slides and swings Wish they look after this place well It's an oxygen chamber

👍 A must visit in Lonavla. They have some other activities too like 7d ride, infinity mirrors and water balloon rides etc. I would not recommend anything apart from the Wax museum. There is also a chikki and fudge shop near by if you want to buy anything.
