Wow! Must go there to have the full turkish experience! The place is so authentic. We arrived four people start we the hamam after a few minutes they called the two men for the scrub and foam treatment in other rooms which is doing by male therapists, after that, they call us the woman unfortunately there was only one female therapist so we couldn’t do it in the same time, after that each got 30 minutes oil massage, the treatments were amazing, the scrub is so good, after that you fill like a new person. Also the oil massage was great. All of this should take 1 hour - as they told us, but because there was only one female therapist it took me two hours and a lot of waiting between the treatment, and my male friends waited for me for an hour after they were done with everything.

Ok heads up I am not a fan off massages unless it's a beautiful girl with a happy ending. Took my family here and Tunkay was a great guy. You get a 20 min steam room. Then into the next room for the Turkish foam and skin clean. Lastly 20 min in the massage when I begged for soft as for small skinny people they are very strong. All for 350Tl bargain.

I've been visiting traditional Hamams since the '80s and this one is totally legitimate and traditional. It is so good to be able to go to a traditional place and not some westernised version. The reviews that rated this place as one star obviously miss the point all together! I went as a solo female, was asked if I wanted a female or male staff member and had a fabulous, steam, scrub, wash, massage and face mask service. Totally worth the money and yes they do take Turkish Lira as well as Euros! Just ask!

Great experience ! Honestly the best priced and experience massage I did. I recommand doing the 1 hour package for 900 TL (30€). The start is in the sauna room for washing, a breathtaking room in a form of a dome, with really nice materials and which seems full of Turkish history. After you will have a 10 minute foam washing which feels really nice and a 40 minute massage.

My husband and I visited this traditional Turkish bath twice on our holiday. It was FAB! and excellent value for money. This is a traditional Turkish bath, so not the luxurious setting of a hotel spa, but the authenticity, welcome and service supplied by Tuncay and his female assistant were brilliant and if we ever have the good fortune to visit Bodrum again, Tuncay and his super Turkish bath will be first on our list. Sauna, Scrub, Turkish bath and foam massage, then oil massage, Tuncay also did a face mask for me which was excellent on my last visit. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Was here last year and this year I came back. Authentic Turkish hamam, good service for a fair price, friendly and hard working staff who speak English. Good price quality ratio. 1hr silver package (scrub, foam, massage) is 30eur/900tl in October 2023. Hygiene could be improved a little bit, towels smelled a little stale but no other complaints.

My first Hammam ever. Went there with my husband. The place is simple, original, small, "sincere", very different from the glamorous western SPAs I attended before. I liked exactly this fact: the "original" Turkish atmosphere. It's an ancient place, eventually. The steam room is totally made of white, vivid marble, with a round roof with holes that let the light get in. After a while, we got the scrub and the foam massage, one by one, in a dedicated room. After that, the massage, very long and accurate, (we chose the "gold" solution). I was offered tee between the foam and the oil massage. About the gender topic, since I read some other reviews: yes, it's a mixed Hammam, and I didn't know about it, but I could guess, since the steem room is only one, even though I didn't think they existed in Turkey. The scrub + foam is made by a man, both to my husband, first, then to me. I didn't feel at all any bad intention from the operator, though I was a little bit in discomfort because I expected a woman. Of course the experience is somehow intimate, (but no misunderstanding at all) because the cleaning is a ritual between you ad the operator, in a small place, (and he showers himself too) , and it's thoroughly done, even inside the nose! I asked in advance if I had to wear the bathing suit, and the girl at the entrance told me I could wear the top or not, as I preferred (and I didn't wear it, so I was topless). After that, since we didn't say that we both wanted the longest massage, my husband (who was the first to have the cleansing) was having his massage by a woman, so that the operator told me that if I wanted the girl, for the massage, I had to wait till the end of my husband's, since they were only two workers. And if I wanted to have it at once, he was the only option, and I said I was fine with him. Everything went more than fine. I think it's the best massage I've ever had in my life, long, accurate, professional. Everything ended with 15 minutes face mask. Everything ok with the payment, we paid what we were told. I didn't give 5 stars only because I think they should improve the communication of the mixed gender thing, also the fact the a man can clean both men and women. Locals know this habit for sure, but for foreign visitors it would be useful, nonetheless it would avoid unlikely misunderstandings. Thank to the family who runs the place I had a super genuine and very good experience.

Today we had an exceptionally good Turkish Hamman experience here. The staff are very well trained and the premises are clean. We have been to many over the years and to modern expensive spas and this was worth every penny and we highly recommend it! After we felt so relaxed, clean and our skin is incredibly soft. Highly recommed this place

Excellent Haman experience. Not an expensive hotel copy, but the genuine thing. Admire the beautiful dome in the steam room, then relax for the scrub and foam massage.

Small and authentic hamam tucked away from the tourist areas. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean. Nice relaxing scrub, foam massage, hair shampoo and oil massage. The massage could have been deeper but feeling very relaxed and squeaky clean

DANKE

Professionals! It's always a pleasure to meet people that work with love. Tongai and Merek (probably my wrong spelling) - you are wonderful and thank you for the excellent service. I recommend this local and authentic place to everyone.

A really good steam, scuba & wash followed by a great massage. The oldest hamam in Bodrum, with an amazing stream & wash rooms! Highly recommend, Dan

    - absolutely unprofessional massage. - the worst experience ever - towels smell awful - furniture is cheap. There aren’t massage tables, just creaked furniture instead My opinion is — this place should be closed.

Nice hamam! We got a massage and foam scrub for 365 lira. They had male and female masseuses and it was a very relaxing experience. Friendly staff, good price, and convenient location!

The price is outrageous. They have a price list for tourists in eur and refuse to show it in Turkish lira. A simple soap massage and scrub (15 min tops total) cost me 500 TL 🙈🙈🙈 this is way too much for the service they provide. The massage was just stroking, and the peeling seemed like just creating an impression of it. I have been to many hammams in Turkey and I am positive this is three times as expensive as it should be. (It is the first negative review in my life I am leaving BTW)

Incredible old small original hammam of the neighborhood. Real pearl of Bodrum. Very clean, smells good, the temperatures are exact. But without the doubt, the top is superior professionalism of Tuncay, whose magic hands perform the highest art of real turkish school of bath massage, generated by centuries. Very few places have such a Master. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! My fiancé and I had an amazing experience and we are looking to go again before the end of our trip! All the staff were so friendly and really took the knots out of our backs! Way better treatment than we’ve had in 5 star hotels!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST OF BODRUM - do not miss out on this if you go to Bodrum, it was definitely the best activity I did. The hospitality shown to me by the owner and the staff was nothing short of exceptional. The bath is authentic, much better than any that I did in Istanbul or anywhere else in Turkey. I enjoyed it so much, I snuck a session in just before my flight. The owner was so hospitable that he conducted the massage for me as I had been there more than once, and he even showed me to the bus station afterward to catch my flight after hearing that I was getting a taxi and advising me that it is the same and much cheaper. I cannot recommend this fine establishment enough. Thank you to all the staff that made my experience so memorable and went above and beyond in every way. Definitely a must for anyone in Bodrum and looking for an authentic, relaxing experience. 10/10

My friend and I went last month together. Communication was very straight forward, so was pricing. I finally felt as if the locals weren’t trying to get more money out of me. The reason I give it two stars is because we felt abandoned while in there. My friend and I were thrown into the changing room and told to dress down, we did. We then went to the sauna with no direction, do we dump water on ourself? Lay down? Stand? How long do we wait in here for? After about 20 minutes my friend, who has gone to dozens of Hammams said something isn’t right and went out of the sauna to look for the employees. About 5 minutes go by and they come into the sauna and take us to a small bathing room. My friend and I were a little annoyed because we wanted to talk and chat with each other while getting cleaned but we were separated. The whole cleaning process was just alright. Nothing crazy. I received a small massage that felt like his elbows were going through my back. I tolerated it but it jacked up my shoulder pretty bad after. The place was clean for supposedly being 300 years old. The bath was a 2/5 star, the building looked like a regular house, the massage was a 1/5 star. Communication 5/5 and price point 3/5. Maybe we came on an “off” day?

Fantastic experience, enjoyed it so much I've been back twice and taken friends. Nice people, great massage, traditional mediation room and stone wash rooms. If your visiting Bodrum it's a must do!

If you’re a woman traveling alone, do not go to this hamam. Read some of the other one star comments and you will understand why. I had a very uncomfortable massage and was then told I was “shy” presumably for not wanting to expose my breasts. I am just grateful nothing worse happened.
