Guys, this hair transplant was the best medical experience I’ve ever had. The staffs are super friendly and very helpful. I have transplanted 5000 grafts in 2 days. I was so scared at first, I searched for many months and Based on the results the natural front hairline I decided to go with Cosmedica clinic. I sent my pictures, after initial assessment via WhatsApp I came to the clinic for the final assessment and doing the hair transplant the same day. Dr. Acar is not just a brilliant Doctor. A humble and friendly person who is going to give a realistic solution. I talked to Dr. Acar about how much grafts I can transplant in total for my first operation and the he gave me the best strategy to cover my scalp ( the front, the middle and the crown). I showed him a photo of to design my hairline based on that and he really took time to design it n perfectly. Some concerns I read in other comments: - the transplanted hair will fall after 2 month and will regrow. For full result we need to wait for 12 months. - The anesthesia part is really painful from 1-10, it’s 5 and sometimes 7 but it only lasts for 4 minutes max and they do it once for the doner area and then another for transplanting area. Second visit back to CosMedica from UK. First results after 2 day surgery in 2020 were very good. Back for a 1 day procedure to cover the outstanding in 2022. Dr Acar and his staff were highly professional, organised, friendly and welcoming. Everything was organised very well via 3rd party GMH (get more hair / Mike) hotel good and hospital very clean and plush (like the circle private hospitals in the UK). Eine Schwester sagte mir, dass circa 30-50 Patienten am Tag behandelt werden. Das muss nicht unbedingt schlecht sein und soll hier keinen negativen Kritikpunkt darstellen, aber wer Exklusivität wünscht, ist hier definitiv an der falschen Stelle. Eine Woche nach der Behandlung kann ich natürlich noch nichts zu dem Endergebnis sagen, aber ich kann die Klinik durchaus guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen, da ich mich zu jeder Zeit wohl gefühlt habe. I looked through the Before & After pictures everything looked perfect. After getting my hair transplant my results came out horrible. I lost all of my donor hair I received about 5,000 grafts on the top of my head a little hair grew back but it was very thin. This was a long painful and depressing procedure that no one should have to go through to only end up worst than before . I don't advise anyone to go to this clinic I very much so regret going there. I don't believe they specialize in Afro hair which they lied and told me they did and they didn't. That is why my results came out so bad this was just a huge regret all around the board. All of my Donor hair is lost and the representative I was speaking to went totally ghost on me after sharing my concerns. I requested a refund for such a bad experience they stopped responding to me which was very unprofessional. I received 2 hair transplants from this company the 1st one was not successful so I went back to them. They both had bad results so much money time and pain all for nothing. I’m 2 weeks post-op and the results are looking really good! The communication wasn’t great with my representative over whatsapp at all. I found her or him quiet rude and was given basic information last minute. For example i arrived in turkey was not given an update on what time i would be picked up for my transplant the next morning untill after midnight. If i was supposed to eat a full breakfeast or not. I had to ask 4 times what hotel they were putting me in. She or he told me this was not their job. This is the least stress i would need before going on for a head transplant. The first day of transplant went very smooth and and was pain free and i thank the doctor and nurse for that however the second day was a nightmare. They changed the nurse and doctor who was doing my procdeure. I was in extreme pain and i asked to a breather and she said multiple times no. I had to specifically ask for the translator to come in to explain to them i needed assistance and a break as i was in a lot of pain. Only the second part after the break they then understood and realised i was in pain and decided to give me pain killers. The lady doing the procedure was also quiet rough putting force on my head and pushing it down because i wouldn’t respond within one second. I was told prior to booking the most expensive pakckge i would be given extra care as i have previous trauma from hair transplant and that Dr Acar would come in and re assure me. I only saw him once prior to the surgery. I never had any follow up as told i would. Finally when it came to payment i was told at that point with no prior warning if i were to pay with card there would be an extra 15% charge on top. This was not told to me anywhere before booking the procedure. And if i paid with cash there would be no extra 15% charge. I told them this was un acceptable which was not mentioned anywhere prior to me confirming my surgery and was unwilling to pay it. Besides that nice clean clinic and a few nice welcoming staff. Just be carefull with who actually does your procedure.

After a successful first day, I realized I had a non negotiable meeting to attend that was going to cost me a lot of money to miss. Rather than dig their heels in, or aim to charge me more, Cosmedica allowed me to reschedule my second day at short notice. I needed an antigen test- Cosmedica got me one immediately on the day I asked and emailed it to my hotel. When they were feeding me post operation, they discovered I was a vegetarian. It was my fault not informing them- they were quick to ensure I had something nice to eat. The cherry on top was when I suffered a mild head trauma sightseeing in Istanbul- I was immediately invited back in to ensure all was okay, and they were quick to make the mild adjustments necessary to ensure my experience was positive and no progress was lost. This is a refined, hi tech, state of the art facility with extremely friendly and competent staff. As you can all tell, I made some mishaps on this trip and they were remarkably helpful throughout the process. They have so many helpfull staff that are allocated in speaking most languages for the patients. Im safe to say that the proceduce did not hurt at all. The only thing that i felt was when they were injecting the anesthesia, which to be honest wasnt that bad and only lasted for 10 minutes. The staff are all organised, they wont leave you stranded. I stayed in a different hotel. Though at the time of payment before my procedure, they deducted the hotel fee which is in the package. They also provided me all transportation to and from the hotel/clinic/airport. I really reccomend anyone to thinking of getting hair transplant to come here. Im very fussy with my decisions and im very glad i made the right one.

I had a hair transplantation a few years ago in Mongolia. Was not satisfied with the results so i decided to get the procedure again. This time i choose Cosmedica in Turkey. What a difference. They picked me up and checked me into five star hotel. The next they they transferred me to the hospital. I was supposed to have gold extra package but ended up with VIP DHi package. Dr Acar did first incision. I need to wait 8-12 month to see the transplantation result but very satisfied how they treated me. Very good service!!!

1. Planung bzw. Reise war nicht gut geplant, kaum infos bekommen und es wirkte alles sehr chaotisch. 2. Hotel/Unterkunft ist eine 3Sterne(Deutscher Standart) unterkunft abseits der Stadt. 3. Krankenhaus/Op : Das Krankenhaus ist gross wirkt modern jetzt ist das nur Fassade, Cosmedica ist 2 OG und hat nur einen Teil davon. Sauber ist es nicht wirklich, die Sofas auf dem Gang (Wartebereich) sind teilweise schmutzig und befleckt. 4. Dr Acar: er gibt sich freundlich jedoch ist der ziemlich abweisend was den wünschen des Patienten angeht wiederspricht und wird nicht drauf eingegangen. Aufklärung wird nicht wirklich betrieben, für alles muss man nachfragen. Was den Transplantationsbereich amgeht hat er sich krass verkalkuliert so das ich kurz vor ende der OP noch Bodygrafts abgeben musste weil es nicht mehr gereicht hat laut aussage der Assistenten („Ärzte“) was für mich ein NO GO ist bei anscheinend soviel erfahrung und soviele behandlungen. Unherlichkeit wäre an dieser stelle angebracht zu sagen, weil man erst mitten oder kurz vor ende über sowas aufgeklärt wird weil man ja sonst die Operation nicht machen würde und Sie somit keinen Umsatz haben und sogar verluste machen wegen der Unterkunft usw... 4. Die HT: diese wird von den Assistenten durchgeführt und man wird ehrlich gesagt ziemlich grob angegen, mein Spenderbereich hat einen Loss Shock somit ist alles sehr unregelmässig und teilweile an einer stelle zuviel entfernt worden. Somit ist mein spenderbereich wegen dieser HT für eine zweite HT nicht mehr geeignet. 5. Die OP: die Anestäsie wurde mangelhaft durchgeführt so das ich lange nach dem noch schmerzen verspürt habe, ich habe gemäss bezahlung und absprache eine DHI einsetzung der Grafts bezahlt, jedoch habe ich während der OP gesehen das die Grafts mit einer Pinsette eingesetzt wurden. Die Leistung der Klinik wurde nicht erbracht, das was dort Praktiziert wurde grenzt eher an Körperverletzung. Dies zeigt schon das die Leute während der OP am Handy sind anstatt sich um die HT zu konzentrieren. 6. Es läuft wie überall in der Türkei gleich ab, ihr bezahlt und denkt es wird sich um euch gesorgt, da lernt ihr noch 8 andere Leute kennen die entweder vormittag oder am nachmittag auch eine HT machen lassen. Ich war von 14:00 bis 01:40 Vor Ort! Da könnt ihr euch selber denken was alles schief gelaufen ist. Fazit: Mit dem wissen von heute würde ich dies nicht noch einmal durchmachen wollen, es ist mehr schein als sein. Spart euch lieber ein oder zwei Jahre mehr Geld und sucht euch einen Arzt in eurer Heimat welchen man jederzeit hingehen kann wen was ist als wen sowas erleben muss. Ich kann all die Positiven Posts hier nicht nachvollziehen, da während meiner OP minimum 4 Leute anwesend waren die sich schlecht über die unstände geäussert haben oder die ausser sich vor wut waren und die HT abgebrochen haben. Lass euch von all diesen Bildern und Videos nicht blenden. Ich hoffe das ich hiermit einigen Leid ersparen kann und ganz ehrlich im nachhinnein betrachtet hätte ich lieber eine Glatze und Haarpigmentierung gemacht!

Aug. 21 just finished the implant procedure yesterday. Overall, the experience was very positive. There was a miscommunication between us before my trip but the clinic was very accommodating and all was fixed before my departure. My new hairline looks better than even I dated to hope. Assuming everything goes well I will not regret my experience. Especially impressive was the staff who were great and spoke many languages. Of course Dr. Acar was excellent, patient, and an artist. Again, excellent experience overall and so far!

Overall great experience. The staff from the moment you walk-out the door to the hotel to the clinic and back and forth all 3 days is very efficient. Attention to detail is A+ here. Not like some doctors offices you spend waiting around in the lobby..they’re aware most everyone traveled from afar to get their treatment done and they respect your time. Lastly, in regards to the actual treatment, it is very non-invasive and painless.
