👍👍 Awesome place for Indian food in Cappadocia!! Totally recommend this. Staff is very polite and food is very authentic. Closest taste you get outside India for Indian food. Wide variety of food available. If you want also can ask to make it Indian spicy. Enough veg and non vegetarian options... This restaurant is fine dining but acted like a fast food place. 2 stars is only for the excellent service the guys did managing such a crowd. (I would rate the service only at 4.5). I had high hopes for this place - as it is one of the highly rated and the only Indian place in the city of goreme. However the restaurant was overcrowded and they kept on welcoming guests which ultimately resulted in angry customers waiting at the door forever, and also increased the waiting times once the order was placed, but it also impacted their food taste. Tandoori stuffed potatoes below was more like boiled potatoes - See below.

Namaste India is delicious. Every time I have eaten here I have enjoyed each meal. The butter chicken is delicious. I have also eaten the garlic naan, and steamy rice. The service is great. All the staff are very kind and attentive. We also had a desert which was maybe sweet potato and coconut, with raisins. Come here if you get the chance!

This is one of the best Indian food you will find..anywhere. i was surprised actually because other indian places in turkey seem to have that same bland taste. But not Namaste. Food was so flavourful and delicious that we went back twice! The staff were amazing too. The place was bustling both nights we were there and yet they continued to serve with a smile on their faces, efficiently. Amazing and highly recommended!

Soft 3/5. Service was good but food really lacked. Being an Indian this place came recommended by someone and when we started ordering we were let down. The Masala Papad wasn’t any good and neither were the Chai and Masala soda. The naan were good on the other hand but could be better. The three main dishes lacked flavour and spice and were very sweet. Perhaps the restaurant isn’t trying to be authentic and is catering to the tourist crowd but given the various recommendation I was surprised it fell quite short.

There is a mad rush to get a seating here and not surprisingly. One can be put off by the bad reviews for service but it's really crowded. Be prepared for a slow service. They are unable to manage the rush. But the good food will make up for all of this.We had the best dal chawal and aloo zeera in the whole of turkey and perhaps better than many restaurants in India. Pro tip - have an early dinner at around 7-8 if you don't want to wait in a queue to get in. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity received.

Absolutely brilliant staff, very attentive and delicious food. Lots of vegan options and vegetarian dishes are labelled which makes life a lot easier! Unfortunately a big group of 16 arrived who were extremely rude and obnoxious, demanding their food arrived sooner than others as they had a flight to catch... I'm sorry but if you arrive at an already busy restaurant as a group of 16 you can't expect fast service! The staff handled it all well and didn't let it phase them. I have been twice this week during my Cappadocia visit and loved each meal I've had, really recommend going early if you want a table though, or booking if possible.

Iconic place. I'm from Istanbul and it's impossible to find such quality Indian cuisine even in Istanbul! Everything was delicious; from appetizers to main courses and the staff were extremely amicable and helpful!! Prices are very good compared to delicious quality. Thanks a lot 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Fantastic food and great portion sizes. Everything perfectly cooked, seasoned and spiced. So refreshing to get some great vegetarian food at a good price too. The servers were very friendly and professional, even when dealing with the rude couple sat next to us who seemed hell bent on having a miserable evening and complaining about everything they were given. No complaints from us, everything was perfect! Thanks for a great meal!

Highly inconsistent food! We ordered palak paneer Chile and black dhal the first day and it was very good The second time we visited the palak paneer was lousy. The black dhal was good and the aloo gobhi was terrible too! We ordered paneer chilli as a starter and all I could taste was uncooked garlic! The food didn’t come together! The dhal came after all of us finished our food. One diners garlic naan came after almost all of us had eaten. They really need to work on their consistency and the food quality

Certainly a lot better than the other Indian Restaurant beside it in terms of food and service - which I tried yesterday. However Food takes a long long time to serve because especially when there too many guests. Need more staff. Mutton Biryani was nice.

The food is SO good! If you like authentic Indian food, this place is for you. We were lucky to have found this resturant. We ate here a few times during our stay and each dish we tried has us craving more. We found the portions to be plentiful! The chicken dishes for the most part were made in a tandoor and were very tender. We tried: chicken Tikka, kadai chicken, butter chicken, mixed pakora and the chicken salad. All really good. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help guide and advise based on your taste preferences. The service is quick even when really busy, which it does get during dinner time. We did not have to wait for a seat. We met with the chef as well, who is from India. Be sure to order the garlic naans!!

While I was still in the bus, I saw the restaurant and decided as soon as I was settle. The vibes OMG, I had missed the foods since I came to turkey and it made my visit to the cappadocia worth it! Their special chicken biryani is tasty yet a bit spicy. The staff took a great care of us and even we shared a few talks!

This restaurant gives you Bollywood vibes. Most Indian named restaurant in turkey are run by Pakistanis. Food is good in flavour and quantity is enough for 2 people. Prices are same as other restaurants. If you wish to eats Indian food in Cappadocia this is the place.

For an Indian traveller in Göreme, this place acts like a haven for satisfying your cravings for an authentic Indian grub The menu is vast with a good number of options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian foodies The ambience is old school with rustic upholstery and chandeliers aiming to make it grand. They have a big bar counter too for those looking to indulge Coming to food, the dal makhani is a must try. Very creamy and well cooked. The Indian breads are served piping hot straight from tandoor indicating the chef has done his homework The prices are high but you do expect that as you’re eating a non native cuisine in a touristy town. But it’s a worthy meal !

one of the BEST restaurants in goreme. MUST visit! Authentic Indian food, the smell alone will awaken so many positive emotions. The taste is the immediate serotonin booster. If you visit try “paneer” personally I think it is the best dish on the menu. In overall, I’m amazed, 100/10. Worth every cent!!!

Mediocre overpriced food. Food is really fat and tasteless. We tried few dishes and all of them were horrible. Price shocked us. We paid 870 tlr for two dishes and 2 lassies. Only mango lassi was tasty. Staff working there is really friendly. Unfortunately food is horrible.

During my recent trip to Cappadocia, Turkey, I had the pleasure of experiencing the most delectable food at Namaste India. The flavors were simply divine, reminiscent of the delicious cuisine we savor in India. Every bite was a burst of delight, leaving me craving for more. Not only was the food mouthwatering, but the staff's behavior was exceptional. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The owner, in particular, went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better culinary adventure in Cappadocia. Highly recommended!

It's hard to believe that everything you order in this Restaurant is probably of a better quality than an Indian Restaurant in India :) Service is quick. Chef knows what he's doing with everything on the Menu. We even saw Turkish Locals enjoying the food & the place was almost full everyday. Literally packed.

We tried “Veg Kadai”. Unfortunately, waiter didn’t know ingredients of this dish when we asked what vegetables they use (cause in menu it just says “vegetables” in sauce). In the end it was only carrots, a bit of green peas and Turkish peppers there, all these veggies are super cheap, but dish cost like 90 lira, it’s crazy. Garlic naan didn’t smell like garlic, but it was okey. This restaurant is insanely overpriced according to average prices in Turkey, this is very touristic place. In Istanbul we could eat dinner for two for 60 lira. Dish was tasty, mild spicy. Be careful if you have allergies because waiter doesn’t know much about dishes and exact ingredients.

We ordered tava roti, paneer kadia and dal makhani.. we had second thoughts on how food would taste but we were in for surprise.. it was yummy and felt so good to have Indian food after fews days of travel in Turkey. Special thanks to the Manager (I don't know her name) for serving us complimentary phirni/kheer which was delicious. Highly recommended in Cappadocia.

Being the only Indian restaurant in the area it is a little pricey compared to local Turkish restaurants. A pleasurable experience thanks to the attentive waiters. The mixed pakora starter was mediocre, lacked salt and flavour. However the mains, matter paneer and butter chicken were the highlights of the place, due to their flavourful gravy's. One con of the butter chicken was the chicken didnt taste fresh.
