I stayed here two times and I think it is a perfect place in Ubud. It is close to busy streets, shops and markets, yet hidden and calm. The location is amazing, close to many cheap, delicious and high quality little restaurants and massage places. I love that Beras cafe with all sorts of food and drinks is just at the gate, you can always order there something and they will bring it to your room. In Buana the people are so nice, I was traveling alone and felt really safe there and welcomed. For breakfast you can choose among 5 various options. And the rooms and balconies are super clean, the staff makes sure there are no unwelcomed bugs coming to your room.

Great Homestay! This was, all over, the best place we stayed at in Ubud, and we stayed at a few. It is very clean and tastefully decorated, and the management pay a lot of attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably sized with modern bathrooms, hot water and good water pressure. The WiFi is the best we had anywhere. The pool is a nice extra, and you get free coffee and tea and a fruit platter on arrival. Big thumbs up, I wish there were more places like this on Bali!

The place is a bit old and tired. Not as nice as the reviews that I was hoping. The outside area has even black mold which dangerous for the health. The room wall was wet and almost moldy. After all, it's in a good busy location in the center of Ubud. But I believe there are many good other option.

Wonderful hospitality with a really clean room, and they have hot water, which is a wonderful added benefit. Also, they confirm everything with you when you first enter, to make sure that you have all of the equipment that you need a such as two beach towels and two bath towels. I also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, which was plentiful and delicious, and I really liked the beautiful pool that is designed incredibly well.

We stayed for three nights for 1.200.000RP total, cash only. This is kind of an annoyance as the ATMs in Ubud take about 4% from you if you withdraw the maximum amount of cash they offer, more otherwise. On the plus side is the shared balcony thing in front of the rooms with benches where you can brew tea or coffee and get in touch with your neighbours. Also it is just a 5 Minute walk to the center of Ubud. Wifi was mostly reliable. The staff was super polite and helpful. On the downside, the bathroom was clean but on the edge to smelly as the architect did poor planing on air ventilation and water drainage. Also there is no shelf or handsoap in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay but nothing special and surely not to last long if you plan on doing something active.

One of the best homestays; clean, excellent staff - Ms. Puti, Kadhe and others. Sumptuous breakfast, coffee or tea tree thru the day. They arranged a very good taxi driver who speaks good English and knows about Bali, traditions, and important tourist places. The owner of the property lives on site. Extremely friendly lady; she not only took us to a traditional Bali temple but also arranged traditional dress for us without which one cannot enter the temple and witness the puja.

Perfect for a stay in Ubud. Located very near to the busy streets. The room where very clean. This was the cleanest accomandation we had during our whole trip in Bali. Scooter can be rented and the family is very helpful if you need anything. I would defently recomend this homestay if you come to Ubud.

Loved that place! Everything was clean. A very nice pool. Very kind stuff and so calm! My bed was perfect and I slept very well. They are very familiar and were open minded. You can have water free (refill) and it’s very good located - just a few minutes to the main spots of Ubud! Would recommend this place highly!

We had horrible experience with them . Our 5 rooms for 10 people were booked 3 months in advance. They canceled 2 days before our trip with no proper explaination. Booked through booking .com who also did not provide any support. Last minute it was difficult to find a good place. Very unprofessional!! Avoid them if you don’t want last minute surprises.

This is no longer Becik, this is Buana Ubud Inn. Red sign on the front says Buana. This was a great stay. The kindness of the staff was fantastic. The pool is nice, the beds and pillows are top notch, close to main parts of Ubud but very quiet at night too. I can't wait to return.

Very nice and clean homestay with super friendly hosts and service. They care of the details: provide you towels for the pool, umbrellas in case of rain, there is a thermos with hot water and unlimited tea and coffee in front of the room, they serve a breakfast to your room every morning by the time. The pool area is pretty and clean. I personally did not like the mattress - was too firm for me, so I didn’t sleep well. Yet overall I recommend this place for stay - location is also super convenient.

I enjoyed my stay so much I extended it! The downstairs rooms are really nice. Unlimited tea, coffee, water. Lovely pool that gets sun for most of the day. Great location. Staff are friendly. Umbrellas in the room. Comfortable bed. Good shower and big bathroom. There is a bit of a damp smell but most places I’ve stayed in Bali have that. The walls are quite thin so you can hear upstairs or next door but it’s such a quiet place and not a party place that it didn’t bother me. I am working and the desk and wifi were great. Perfect for solo female travellers!

Rooms are very standard. But the location is really good so we can stroll around easily. Many restaurants nearby and massage places

Dirty bathroom, musquito net was to small for bed, breakfast was almost nothing (1,5 egg and 1 slice of bread + some kind of juice?). Location was ok, near Ubud main street.

Facilities are just right, seen the price. Everything there, what you need for a comfortable stay. What makes this place so special is the staff. Top notch service!

Best cheap hotel in Ubud. It is clean, in the center of the city, and there is a Wifi-router ind every room, so the WiFi is really fast! You can refill your water bottles for free and there is instant coffee and the all day. They are really nice as well. We looked at a loft different places, but this was the best in the cheap price. Will go again next time!

Really nice place to stay and the location is great. The staff are so lovely and do an excellent job cleaning. Loved the cute little tea/coffee set up outside our room. Would have stayed longer if they’d of had the availability, clearly everyone knows it’s a good deal!

Homestay is near to the Ubud Market and near to restaurants with 5 mins walk. Monkey Forest can also be visited from here by walking and would take 20 mins. I would definitely would recommend staying here. They also provide free packed breakfast even if you will leave earlier for flight at 3am and even let you check in during midnight since they have reception available for 24 hrs.

Amazing staff, really friendly and accomodating. The room is clean and tidy. The location is great if you want to stay in Ubud but somewhere quiet. Definitely recommend this hotel.

😠 We stayed here in April 2023 at the beginning of our 6 month Asian adventure. 2 months have passed and this hotel still gives us reoccurring nightmares. I’ll start with the very few positives: 1. Great location in central Ubud, near the markets which are bustling during the day but are dead silent...
