I recently trained with Ubud Muay Thai for almost 3 months as a complete beginner, and I can say it was an incredible journey. Not only did I learn a lot of techniques and build my strength and cardio, but I also gained a lot of self-confidence and inner security knowing that I can defend myself if needed. Here are the 5 things I loved the most: 1) The Atmosphere. The atmosphere at Ubud Muay Thai is simply amazing. It's a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels at home. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fighter, there's a place for you here. The instructors and other students are friendly, supportive, and always ready to help you improve. If you're looking to take your training to the next level, you can participate in sparring sessions or even take part in fights. Alternatively, if you're looking for a fun and challenging workout, you can approach it as a leisure activity and still get extremely fit from it. 2) Flexibility. They offer sessions throughout the day, so you can easily fit training into your schedule no matter what your work or personal commitments are. This makes it easy to maintain a consistent training routine and see real progress. 3) All Levels Welcome. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced fighter, you'll feel right at home at Ubud Muay Thai. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and able to work with students at all levels. They're able to break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand steps, so you can learn and improve quickly. 4) Motivating and Professional Instructors. The instructors at Ubud Muay Thai are very motivating and professional. You can feel their passion about Muay Thai and it shows in the way they teach and interact with students. They're able to push you to your limits while still making sure that you're safe and progressing at your own pace. 5) The Community. Finally, the community at Ubud Muay Thai is simply fantastic. You'll meet people from all over the world who share your passion for Muay Thai and fitness. It's a great way to make new friends, learn about different cultures, and share experiences. The supportive and welcoming environment makes it easy to feel at home, even if you're new to the area. Overall, I highly recommend Ubud Muay Thai to anyone looking to learn Muay Thai, get fit, and make new friends. Thank you for everything, will definitely come back one day! πŸš€πŸ™‚

You can try Muay Thai class here for a reasonable price, with new facilities and services. Also the trainer was very friendly, helpful, speak english fluently, so there'll be no language barrier when you communicate with them. Pssst, they have cute cats around the camp! 😻

Cool location, only a few minutes away from monkey forest. The place is not big not small either. The classes are either for beginners or advanced. I found that they give the right attention to you.

Worst training I ever been to, unfriendly staff looking like they are coaching for punishment, barely speaking to us showing movement once ang going around like a ghost. The trainer wasn't even correcting us, each movement was taking forever I guess laziness to lead the class, super short warm up that didn't make sense, no cool down. Very expensive and you need to pay extra for the gloves on top of everything. There are many other better places in Ubud, spare your time and money, I was ready to walk out mid time. As for your reply: I don't know from where you invented this, I paid normally for my class. Truly doubt that I was doing everything correct at beginners class, the trainer was jus not paying attention as he looked absolutely jaded. The warm up was 90sec jumping rope and 5 push ups, I came 10min before the class if you're insinuating I was late. As for the price none of the places I went so far charged more than 150 and gloves were for free, not mentioning the level of service and cleanliness.

Ubud muay thai at the Ganesha House in Jalan Nyuh Gading 19. Cute little place, they have boxing and muay thai classes. I participated in the muay thai class and had a nice night! I learned basic footwork and how to pack a punch. They really showed me the ways. At first i was a bit scared but they really showed me the other way

I went there for a private training but no one showed up. I booked it over the phone. They opened at 8:00 so I asked them from what time the session was possible. They said starting 9:00. I asked them 3 times to repeat the time so that it was certain it was at 9:00. When I got there the main door was open but no one was there. It tried to calling several times to see if anyone was there but no one picked up I lost 2 hours. It ruined a part of my planning for the day of our trip. It was frustrating to loose time like this because I basically lost precious holiday time. So they merit this bad evaluation in my opinion.

I've tried Muay Thai at several gyms in Bali, but none of them compare to Ubud Muay Thai. The trainers are all Indonesian and speak English, which makes it easy for foreigners like me to learn. Plus, the community is amazing!

I am a complete beginner. Trained here 4 times a week for 2 mths and lost more than 10kg. Great trainers, staff and community. Trainers looked out for all the mistakes i made so i could build a solid foundation and have good basics. The community is very welcoming even for a beginner. If i get into a fight now i can run away a lot faster than 2 months ago. If i am ever in Bali I will return here for sure. If you have the opportunity to show up for a single training session think you should. They offer glove and wrap rental services.

A really enjoyable class with good mix of technical skills and fitness. I haven't done any sort of martial arts training before but Ocho was great and guided me through everything - he's a very good teacher! If you're near Ubud then definitely make an effort to this a go

I took the training class at 4 PM here and loved it.! The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I paid 175 IDR for the class. If you have your own wraps and gloves I would recommend bringing them, if not they they have them there as well.

Great place to do your self training or join to the group classes or having private class with the trainer. Trainers are experienced, friendly and helping you to grow. Been there twice and can't wait to come back whenever I'm in ubud! Paid 100k per class but i guess they have monthly deals too!

Highly recommend this gym. The trainers are good guys, with good energy. Speak good English and explain the technique really well, in as easy to understand way, which I think is very important. I have been training at muay thai gym(s) in Thailand for over a year and I think they generally lack the English skills to explain it well. They will show you, but cant really explain. So this was a great bonus point for me at Ubud Muay Thai. I feel like I learned a lot here. The schedule is great, very varied, so can pick the classes you like. The trainers mix it up well. They are also fighters themselves and can arrange a fight if that's what your looking for. The location is great, just outside from the busy centre. And plenty space to park (bike) inside. Prices very reasonable. I will come back here to train for sure if I come Ubud again. Cheers guys

I've just finished training at Ubud Muay Thai for 4 weeks & it's been amazing. I attended the different Muay Thai classes (introduction, drills, bag & pad work) along with the strength & conditioning classes & I can already see an improvement not only in my fitness, but also in my technique. The coaches are very professional & experienced & know how to push each one individually whether you're a beginner or have been training for a while. Not only are the coaches awesome, but the rest of the staff are lovely too. I'm looking forward to coming back & training here again later on this year.

This gym and the trainers there are so special and talented. I came to many sessions over the course of 5 days and their pads and bags sessions are so much fun (simultaneously extremely challenging)! It is very well organized- every minute of the sessions are used with intention. I felt that I improved a lot over the small amount of time that I had to spend there. The trainers explained techniques with such clarity and determination to help you do it correctly. They had a ton of patience and made practice really fun. The environment is welcoming and inclusive if you’re a beginner like myself. I found myself going twice a day and preferred it to other activities in Ubud- it’s hard to stay away. I hope to come back someday and stay for longer!

I had a great training session, and would have loved to stay in ubud longer to have come back again. The trainers gave good advice during padwork and the sparring was great fun, no egos in the gym. Good learning environment. Would recommend!

I loved! I do functional training and I loved the strength classes with Yul. We worked the whole body and I was able to notice great changes for a month and a half. I also had the ability to use the gym alone whenever I wanted 😍. And nothing to say about Yanick, their receptionist, the friendliest person I met in Bali. It is not so crowded and is outdoors for those who like something more private and natural. I didn't do the muay thai and boxing classes but they looked great
