The studio itself is beautiful. I took vinyasa flow and fly high yoga classes and the instructors were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my bikram yoga class experience. I’ve been practicing different styles of yoga consistently in different studios around the world, and for the first time, I walked out of a class. The instructor didn’t introduce himself and didn’t ask students about their injuries. I understand that yoga is a personal experience and people’s preferences vary, but when taking classes I expect practicing in a safe space with qualified teachers who care about their students well being. Unfortunately, the instructor didn’t make me feel safe to practice. When I addressed the issue with the front desk, they didn’t offer a refund or taking a different class instead. The studio doesn’t list the names, experience and qualifications of their instructors, so you don’t know who you are taking class with.

Place is nice, well organized, but my first Bikram experience was bad. Teacher’s ego and way of doing aggressive was nothing to do with yoga. One person was feeling sick, but teacher locked the door and stopped her on the door as in the bad film, forcing the person stay inside, till she was urging to go out because of hard headache. I see so much egocentric teachers here around in Ubud in different schools.. yoga all of styles is nothing to do with what teachers are teaching here.

We decided as novice yogis to dive right into an intermediate/advanced hot yoga class and while we almost fainted on multiple occasions, we prevailed! The teacher was fantastic and encouraged us despite our major lack of abilities. Now we are celebrating our consciousness with a coffee, a coconut and a Big Breakfast in the beautiful cafe! 😍🥹

I love this place. I go to canggu yoga center mostly but after a weekend in Ubud to soak in the Ubud vibe I stopped in to take a class before heading back to canggu. Ubud yoga center and canggu yoga center is sane ownership so you can take class in either place without paying more if you get monthly membership. This building back up to the river which is about 50 meters below and it’s beautiful. The breeze flow through the upper area which is the main yoga studios. Below are shops and cafe. Equally cool but the energy is in the yoga area. The class lineup here is from 6 am to later in the evening. Whereas canggu is mostly Morin to early afternoon. I think as the remote gets out in canggu they will fill more classes in the afternoon but maybe not because canggu revolves around sunset and dinner after so maybe yoga in canggu will stay a morning thing. In summary, this is real yoga !!! Hot Pilates, vinyasas, Astanga, yin…. In a serious practice yet in a relaxed atmosphere…. Without the feel of yoga Disneyland of yoga barn. Don’t get me wrong I like yoga barn but I feel like a tourist there as everything is a bit over the top. Here,…. It perfect yoga, vibe, people, cool owner 😁

Came for the Yin yoga class, stayed for the food. Wonderfully relaxing and the instructor was very good. Was able to put my large backpacking backpack behind the front desk during class because it was so massive. The food was delicious too. I’d love to come back and try the other classes.

A popular yoga studio in the Ubud area. There is a shop and cafe on the first floor, three yoga studios on the second floor and a spa on the third floor. You can see the green scenery from the comfortable open-air cafe and the glass-enclosed studio 🌴 It was stylish and clean, the yoga classes were highly satisfying, and the staff were all kind! You can walk in empty-handed, so if you like yoga, you should try it at least once 🧘

We have lived in Bali for over 10 years. We usually go to Yoga Barn or Radiantly Alive. We have visited here before but they always have shifting schedules. We came today and their schedule on their website was completely wrong. When asked they said they hadn't updated for the month even though we were ten days into the month. The issue is that staff doesn't care and they offer no help which the reputation of this place. So we are back to Yoga Barn and for anyone visiting we recommend them as well as always great.

Yoga was ok a bit difficult for beginners. The teacher didn’t explain properly what to do and how to sing and annunciate the words. Also it was very hot inside and the mats were smelly. We tried kundalini yoga. The food and service in the cafe downstairs were not good too. 👎 The ambience and nature around is beautiful though 👍

Contemporary architecture, stunning views of the jungle- the structure seemingly floating above a precipice. Friendly staff and instructors, free lockers, went to bikram yoga, loved the class, enjoyed looking at the visiting gecko on the wall throughout. Showers very welcome, didn't stop in the restaurant/bar downstairs, but noticed the design of the place. Recommend!

Great view and professional yoga instructors. But the restaurant could work on their service. Not friendly at all what is very uncommon for Bali.. just sitting behind the bar playing on their phones with the head on the bar or talking to each other not looking out for their customers. Sad because it’s a very beautiful place..

All classes I’ve been to were led by a professional. Bit expensive but still worth going. Food in the restaurant downstairs is exceptional. Smoothie bowls, and curries are the best.

The Ubud Yoga Centre is a unique place. I am very happy that I found it. If you want to try real yoga, to try different classes, to feel your body, to listen to your heart - you definitely need to try it. The teachers, Jess, Dewi and all the others, are just the best! The good food, atmosphere, even WiFi. All in all, 10/10.

This center is very nice, it has everything. I was able to enjoy a yoga practice in the morning and it has been very rewarding. The teacher has a perfect level of English and I have been able to understand her very well. What I didn't like is that he hasn't corrected the students who, by doing the alignments incorrectly, could have problems in the long run. Alignment is very important but everyone else has been wonderful.

The Ubud Yoga Centre is not to be missed! The yoga facilities are magical, so calming and restorative. The staff, especially Komang (she is amazing!) is super friendly and attentive. The cafe is wonderful too, I thoroughly enjoyed every meal I had there! I can’t think of a more ideal setting to practice yoga! 😊

The Yoga Centre is a must-visit for every yogi. I did the Yin Yoga session and it was one of the best I’ve ever done so far! Besides that, there is a little coffee bar downstairs with incredible delicious and healthy snacks to enjoy the great view!

I LOVE this Bikram Yoga studio! Offers Fly High Yoga. Truly an Ubud gem. I could say a bunch of nice things about the teachers, the classes, exceptionally clean facilities but other reviews seem to have that covered. It opens at 6:00 am if you're up for an early class or want a cup of coffee

I fell in love with this studio and its architecture the first time I came to try out their classes. Smaller and intimate than many other more famous studios in town, it turned out to be my favourite in Ubud and I have tried more than a few. I got a weekly unlimited pass and enjoyed different styles of yoga: fly high, hatha, vinyasa, bikram, kundalini and in fact felt so comfortable there, as everyone treats you very friendly and as if you were truly their friend that I’d spend most of my time there, lounging on the chairs, reading my book or refreshing myself with a juicy fresh coconut after a class. Some of the instructors were outstanding in their approach, I especially enjoyed Ari’s and Nathalie’s work & adjustments, thank you ladies and I hope I shall be able to come and work with you again in the future ;-)

Super good! From the street it looks a bit induatrial, but inside you find it very nice. Besides lots of yoga classes, they have a bistro, a shop, a place where children can play... the FlyHigh Yoga was a really good exyperience. The teachers were very kind and supportive. First day 's class contained of only 4, the second day's class of over 10. It is possible to rent a towel, showers a free and if you can bring your own lock.

Wow. Just wow. When I say this place and retreat was life changing I am not exaggerating. The people here embraced me with love and authenticity. I learned about true Balinease culture, ate amazing food, reconnected to the divine and my body, and made great friendships. I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life and look forward to returning soon!

The Ubud Yoga Centre is where I learned how to be a true yogi! I was there for four weeks with a teacher training group and I was blown away. The staff was incredible and greeted us by name everyday. The facilities are located in a beautiful part of Ubud lively with locals, animals and tourists alike. For anyone looking for a place to practice in Bali, I recommend UYC (and their sister studio in Canggu) for the experienced teachers, fabulous cafés, scenic hot rooms and an abundance of positivity and kindness. I will 100% be back again to visit!

i loved the class here, the place is very welcoming and situated in the middle of the forest, with such an amazing view. Everyone was so kind and the teacher was lovely (she even remembered all of our names!) Sadly, I'm not that good with remembering names😂 But I will remember her kindness and her challenging yet rewarding vinyasa practice

One of those places that make Ubud special! Industrial design perfectly blended in a tropical jungle overviewing the river – this picture can stand out on a postcard of Bali and Ubud. Conceptual and well maintained studio with a cafe and cozy area to have a meal after a class, professional and passionate teachers and a big variety of classes including Bikram, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Pilates, Yin, Hot Barre, TRX – this place has everything to offer when it comes to daily activities to chose from for those who stay around Ubud. I was lucky to get introduced to Bikram hot yoga at UYC, as this requires specially equipped rooms with proper heaters, and there are no other places on the island offering these classes at this standard. I find hot yoga is an excellent combination of internal alignment and effective workout, which helps for detoxing and strengthening the body and mind. Bikram classes are scheduled daily at 9am and on some days in the afternoon as well; this makes it very convenient if you are looking for a regular exercise routine.

Tried my first hot vinyasa yoga and I was sweating buckets! The moves became more challenging and just surviving the heat was a challenge in itself. The instructor and owner were both helpful for following the moves. A smoothie bowl with a view overlooking the river and greenery was such a treat! Wish I could come for more classes!

Ubud Yoga Center was fantastic! We took several of their many classes offered daily. Had rooftop massages which were heavenly and ate downstairs at the cafe salads, smoothies and açaí bowls. The owner Mony was very helpful and Komang was so sweet to make sure we were all set with classes, towels etc. Instructors were very good. We took Nancy’s class several times and she was excellent!

Such a great yoga center. A place that is filled with light, clean, green and beautiful. I Specifically enjoy Jessica the Instructor there as she is a power house of positive energy and an ace at her craft. The whole energy is quite different from the other studios in Ubud. A must try. 👌

Beautiful yoga center in the middle of nature. The view from the yoga rooms is stunning! Downstairs there is a cafe the food is ok.. We had a cuscus salad and it was good.....but kinda pricey. Coffee should taste better though. Worth a visit if you want to relax and detox.

One of the best Bikram classes I’ve taken! Incredibly hot, but the instructor was so encouraging and had helpful adjustments. Also had a really good oat latte at the cafe downstairs.

The best Yoga, Pilates and Barre studio in Indonesia. Amazing costumer service and absolutely delicious café. The sanctuary for any one that is looking for a nice practice.

I don't have anything negative to say about this place. Both staff and students are amazing and class sizes are small. And, you can reserve far in advance to guarantee you get into classes. Ubud Yoga Center is beautiful and I was able to practice a lot of different yoga techniques, types and classes. Tried spiritual healing, sound healing, as well as your typical bikram and vinyasa classes.

*** Health Warning*** I attended many Hot Yoga classes during and after Covid and was concerned about the cleanliness of the yoga mats/towels and their facility. I alerted several yoga teachers as I observed students leaving dirty mats in the yoga room, while others carried their mats out of the room without spraying or wiping down at all.The teachers shrugged it off as it was not their concern. Sept 29th I went to a dermatologist for suspicious area on my leg. While being seen by my doctor, she saw many more growths on my back, legs & feet. Two and a half hours later and cautery (burning off) of 75+ warts/virus. I was shocked! As a routine before each class, I always washed my feet in the shower before stepping on my towel, which is where my feet got infected as well. I will not return to do any hot yoga at UYC because it is dirty and unsanitary. I practiced the hot yoga classes to benefit my health, and now I'm dealing with a severe health condition I never imagined possible. Saw another doctor and she informed me that the virus is in my blood and recommended I go to a special clinic in Denpasar for blood cleansing treatments which are very expensive. I have received 10 treatments and will continue to do what I can for my health and follow up with dermatologist in 3-6 months. I am very disappointed in Ubud Yoga Centre.
